God formerly communicated with us through the prophets, but now he has communicated with us through his son, who is just like God.

Since we know so many people with faith like that, we must put aside anything, especially sin, which hinders us, and we must strive to achieve God’s will and concentrate on Jesus.

Renewyourselves spiritually; goforwardinyour Christian life; trytolivepeacefullywitheveryone; seektobeholy; guardagainstbitterness; donotbe immoral; anddonotrefusetolistentoGod.
Youhavenotexperiencedtheterrifyingthingsyourancestorsdid; youhavecometo Christ andbenefitedfromhisbloodflowingforyou.
WeshouldbeinawebeforeGod, whowillpunishusifwerejecthim.
Love one another, be hospitable, and help imprisoned and other mistreated believers.
Respectthemarriage relationship, andavoidcovetousness.
Rememberhowyourformerspiritualleaderslivedandimitatetheirfaith; sinceChristneverchanges, donotbedivertedtostrangeteachings.
WemuststoppracticingJewishsacrificesand rituals, andgotoJesustobesaved, sincewedonothaveacitylikeJerusalemwherewemustoffersacrifices, butinsteadwewaitforafutureeverlastingheavenlycity.
Since Christ sacrificedhimselfforus, letourcontinualpraiseofGodbeoursacrifice.
Continuallydogooddeedsandsharewithothers, becausethistoowillbeasacrificepleasingtoGod.
Obeyyourspiritualleaders.
PrayformethatGodwillquicklyremovethethingsthathindermycomingtoyou.
MayGod equip youwitheverythinggoodthatyouneed, andmay Christ bepraisedforever.
PatientlyconsiderwhatIhavewritteninthisshort exhortation.
Since Timothy hasbeenreleasedfromprison, hewillaccompanymewhenIgotoseeyou.
Greetyourspiritualleadersandallother believers; the believers whoarefrom Italy sendyoutheir greetings.
MayGodactgraciouslytoyouall.
