9 And_he/it _gave Joab DOM the _number of _the _muster the_people to the_king and_it _became Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) eight hundred(s) thousand man of _strength [who]_drew a _sword and_men of _Yəhūdāh [was]_five hundred(s) thousand man.
10 And_struck the _heart of _Dāvid DOM_him/it after thus he _had _counted DOM the_people and_he/it _said Dāvid to Yahweh I _have _sinned exceedingly [that]_which I _have _done and_now Oh _Yahweh take _away please DOM the _iniquity servant_your DOM I _have _acted _foolishly exceedingly.
11 And_he/it _rose _up Dāvid in/on/at/with_morning and_word of _Yahweh it _came to Gād the_prophet the _seer of _Dāvid to_say.
12 Go and_say to Dāvid thus he _says Yahweh three _[things] I [am]_laying on_you choose to/for_yourself(m) one from_them and_do to_you.
13 And_came Gād to Dāvid and_told to_him/it and_he/it _said to_him/it come to/for_yourself(m) seven years famine in/on/at/with_land_your or three months flee_you[fn] to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before foes_your and_he pursue_you and_if to _be three days pestilence in/on/at/with_land_your now know and_decide what will _I _bring _back sent_me word.
14 and_he/it _said Dāvid to Gād it _is _distress to_me exceedingly let _us _fall please in/on/at/with_hand of _Yahweh DOM [are]_great mercy_his[fn] and_in/on/at/with_hands of _a _human not let _me _fall.
15 And_he/it _gave Yahweh a _pestilence in/on/at/with_Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) from_the_morning and_unto a _time of _an _appointed _time and_he/it _died of the_people from_Dān and_unto wwww seven seventy thousand person[s].
16 And_stretched _out his/its_hand the_angel Yərūshālayim to_destroy_it and_he/it _sighed/regretted Yahweh concerning the_calamity and_he/it _said to _the_angel the_destruction in/on/at/with_people enough now let _drop hand_your and_angel of _Yahweh he _was near the _threshing _floor the_Araunah[fn] the_Jebusite.
17 and_he/it _said Dāvid to Yahweh in/on/at/with_saw_he DOM the_angel the_destroying in/on/at/with_people and_he/it _said here I I _have _sinned and_I I _have _done _wrong and_these the_sheep what have _they _done let _it _be please hand_your in/on/at/with_me and_in/on/at/with_house father’s_my.
18 and_came Gād to Dāvid in _the_day (the)_that and_he/it _said to_him/it go _up set _up to/for_YHWH an _altar in/on/at/with_threshing _floor of _Araunah[fn] the_Jebusite.
19 And_he/it _ascended Dāvid according _to_word of _Gād just_as he _had _commanded Yahweh.
20 And_looked _down Araunah and_he/it _saw DOM the_king and_DOM servants_his passing _over on/upon/above_him/it and_he/it _went _out Araunah and_bowed _down to/for_the _king face_his ground_to.
21 And_he/it _said Araunah why has _he _come my_master/master the_king to servant_his and_he/it _said Dāvid to_buy from_with_you DOM the_threshing _floor in _order _to_build an _altar to/for_YHWH and_averted the_plague from_under the_people.
22 And_he/it _said Araunah to Dāvid let _him _take _[it] and_offer _up my_master/master the_king the_good in/on/at/with_eyes_him[fn] see the_oxen for _the_burnt _offering and_the_threshing _sledges and_yokes the_oxen for _the_wood.
23 The_all he _gives Araunah the_king to/for_the _king and_he/it _said Araunah to the_king Yahweh god_your accept_you.
24 And_he/it _said the_king to Araunah no[fn] DOM certainly _(buy) I _will _buy _[it] from_you in/on/at/with_price and_not I _will _offer _up to/for_YHWH god_my burnt _offerings without _paying and_bought Dāvid DOM the_threshing _floor and_DOM the_oxen in/on/at/with_silver shekels fifty.
25 And_he/it _built there Dāvid an _altar to/for_YHWH and_he/it _ascended burnt _offerings and_fellowship _offerings and_answered _supplication Yahweh for _the_land and_averted the_plague from_under Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
