בַּעְשָׁ֤א מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
עַל־יְהוּדָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּ֖בֶן [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־הָרָמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
לְבִלְתִּ֗י [3] Revi'a

יוֹצֵ֣א וָבָ֔א [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לְאָסָ֖א [2] Tip'cha
מֶ֥לֶךְ יְהוּדָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 4 2 2 3 3 2 1 In the thirty-sixth year of Asa’s reign, Baasha king of Israel went up against Judah, and built Ramah, that he might not allow anyone to go out or come in to Asa king of Judah. [3]

וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח [3] Revi'a
אֶל־בֶּן־הֲדַד֙ [3] Pashta
מֶ֣לֶךְ אֲרָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
הַיּוֹשֵׁ֥ב בְּדַרְמֶ֖שֶׂק [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֵאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 2 3 3 2 2 Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the LORD’s house and of the king’s house, and sent to Ben Hadad king of Syria, who lived at Damascus, saying, [4]

הָפֵ֣ר בְּרִֽיתְךָ֗ [3] Munach Revi'a

אֶת־שָׂרֵ֨י הַחֲיָלִ֤ים אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
אֶל־עָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַיַּכּוּ֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־עִיּ֣וֹן וְאֶת־דָּ֔ן [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְאֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
אָבֵ֣ל מָ֑יִם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְאֵ֥ת כׇּֽל־מִסְכְּנ֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עָרֵ֥י נַפְתָּלִֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 4 2 3 2 2 4 Ben Hadad listened to king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel; and they struck Ijon, Dan, Abel Maim, and all the storage cities of Naphtali. [4]

כִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ בַּעְשָׁ֔א [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַיֶּחְדַּ֕ל [2] ZaqefG
מִבְּנ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־הָרָמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
וַיַּשְׁבֵּ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־מְלַאכְתּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

אֶת־כׇּל־יְהוּדָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּשְׂא֞וּ [4] Gershayim
אֶת־אַבְנֵ֤י הָרָמָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְאֶת־עֵצֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּנָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בַּעְשָׁ֑א [1] Etnachta
 
וַיִּ֣בֶן בָּהֶ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
אֶת־גֶּ֖בַע [2] Tip'cha
וְאֶת־הַמִּצְפָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 3 2 3 4 2 2 2 6 Then Asa the king took all Judah, and they carried away the stones of Rama, and its timber, with which Baasha had built; and he built Geba and Mizpah with them. ¶ [3]

1 2 3 3 2 2 3 3 4 3 2 3 3 7 At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said to him, “Because you have relied on the king of Syria, and have not relied on the LORD your God, therefore the army of the king of Syria has escaped out of your hand. [3]
8 הֲלֹ֧א הַכּוּשִׁ֣ים וְהַלּוּבִ֗ים [3] Darga Munach Revi'a
הָי֨וּ לְחַ֧יִל ׀ לָרֹ֛ב [3] Qadma Darga Tevir
לְרֶ֥כֶב וּלְפָרָשִׁ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְהַרְבֵּ֣ה מְאֹ֑ד [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וּבְהִשָּׁעֶנְךָ֥ עַל־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
נְתָנָ֥ם בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 8 Weren’t the Ethiopians and the Lubim a huge army, with chariots and exceedingly many horsemen? Yet, because you relied on the LORD, he delivered them into your hand. [3]

מְשֹׁטְט֤וֹת בְּכׇל־הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta

אֵלָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
 
נִסְכַּ֣לְתָּ עַל־זֹ֑את [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י מֵעַ֔תָּה [2] Munach Zaqef
יֵ֥שׁ עִמְּךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִלְחָמֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 4 3 4 2 2 9 For the LORD’s eyes run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. You have done foolishly in this; for from now on you will have wars.” ¶ [3]

אֶל־הָרֹאֶ֗ה [3] Revi'a
 
וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֙הוּ֙ [3] Pashta
בֵּ֣ית הַמַּהְפֶּ֔כֶת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
כִּֽי־בְזַ֥עַף עִמּ֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַל־זֹ֑את [1] Etnachta
 
וַיְרַצֵּ֥ץ אָסָ֛א [3] Merkha Tevir
מִן־הָעָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
בָּעֵ֥ת הַהִֽיא׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 2 2 3 10 Then Asa was angry with the seer, and put him in the prison; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time. ¶ [4]

1 2 3 2 2 3 2 11 Behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel. [3]

1 2 3 4 2 2 3 2 12 In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa was diseased in his feet. His disease was exceedingly great: yet in his disease he didn’t seek the LORD, but just the physicians. [4]

1 2 2 2 3 13 Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the forty-first year of his reign. [2]

בְּעִ֣יר דָּוִיד֒ [2] Munach Segol

אֲשֶׁ֤ר מִלֵּא֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּשָׂמִ֣ים וּזְנִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מְרֻקָּחִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בְּמִרְקַ֣חַת מַעֲשֶׂ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיִּשְׂרְפוּ־ל֥וֹ שְׂרֵפָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
גְּדוֹלָ֥ה עַד־לִמְאֹֽד׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
