מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה בְמׇלְכ֑וֹ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַחֲמִשִּׁ֤ים וְחָמֵשׁ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
שָׁנָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
מָלַ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem. [3]

1 2 2 3 2 3 2 2 He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight, after the abominations of the nations whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. [2]

וַיָּ֨קֶם מִזְבְּח֤וֹת לַבְּעָלִים֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
וַיַּ֣עַשׂ אֲשֵׁר֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַיִּשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ [3] Pashta
לְכׇל־צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
אֹתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 3 2 3 2 3 For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down; and he raised up altars for the Baals, made Asheroth, and worshiped all the army of the sky, and served them. [3]

1 2 2 3 2 4 He built altars in the LORD’s house, of which the LORD said, “My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.” [2]
5 וַיִּ֥בֶן מִזְבְּח֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְכׇל־צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
בִּשְׁתֵּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
חַצְר֥וֹת בֵּית־יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 5 He built altars for all the army of the sky in the two courts of the LORD’s house. [2]
6 וְהוּא֩ הֶעֱבִ֨יר אֶת־בָּנָ֤יו בָּאֵשׁ֙ [3] TelishaQ Qadma Mapakh Pashta
בְּגֵ֣י בֶן־הִנֹּ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְעוֹנֵ֤ן וְנִחֵשׁ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta

וְעָ֥שָׂה א֖וֹב [2] Merkha Tip'cha

לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הָרַ֛ע [3] Merkha Tevir
בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְהַכְעִיסֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 3 3 6 He also made his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom. He practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits and with wizards. He did much evil in the LORD’s sight, to provoke him to anger. [3]

וְהַֽחֻקִּ֥ים וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּיַד־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 2 2 2 3 2 9 Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that they did more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel. ¶ [2]

אֶל־מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה וְאֶל־עַמּ֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלֹ֥א הִקְשִֽׁיבוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
2 3 10 The LORD spoke to Manasseh, and to his people; but they didn’t listen. [3]
11 וַיָּבֵ֨א יְהֹוָ֜ה [4] Qadma Geresh
עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם [3] Revi'a
 
אֶת־שָׂרֵ֤י הַצָּבָא֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta

וַיִּלְכְּד֥וּ אֶת־מְנַשֶּׁ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בַּחֹחִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וַיַּאַסְרֻ֙הוּ֙ [3] Pashta
בַּֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִם [2] Zaqef
 
וַיּוֹלִיכֻ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha
בָּבֶֽלָה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 3 2 2 3 2 11 Therefore the LORD brought on them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon. ¶ [4]

1 2 2 2 2 2 12 When he was in distress, he begged the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. [2]
13 וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֣ל אֵלָ֗יו [3] Munach Revi'a
וַיֵּעָ֤תֶר לוֹ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע תְּחִנָּת֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַיְשִׁיבֵ֥הוּ יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְמַלְכוּת֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֵּ֣דַע מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
כִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
ה֥וּא הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 2 13 He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God. ¶ [3]

וְלָב֨וֹא בְשַׁ֤עַר הַדָּגִים֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
 
וְסָבַ֣ב לָעֹ֔פֶל [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַיַּגְבִּיהֶ֖הָ [2] Tip'cha
מְאֹ֑ד [1] Etnachta
 
וַיָּ֧שֶׂם שָׂרֵי־חַ֛יִל [3] Darga Tevir
בְּכׇל־הֶעָרִ֥ים הַבְּצֻר֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בִּיהוּדָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 4 2 2 3 14 Now after this, he built an outer wall to David’s city, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate. He encircled Ophel with it, and raised it up to a very great height; and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah. [4]

ח֥וּצָה לָעִֽיר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 3 3 2 15 He took away the foreign gods, and the idol out of the LORD’s house, and all the altars that he had built in the mountain of the LORD’s house, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city. [4]

1 2 3 2 2 2 3 2 2 16 He built up the LORD’s altar, and offered sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving on it, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD, the God of Israel. [3]

כְּהִכָּנַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה אָבִ֑יו [1] Munach Etnachta

ה֥וּא אָמ֖וֹן [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הִרְבָּ֥ה אַשְׁמָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 23 He didn’t humble himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but this same Amon trespassed more and more. [3]
24 וַיִּקְשְׁר֤וּ עָלָיו֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta

וַיְמִיתֻ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha
בְּבֵיתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 24 His servants conspired against him, and put him to death in his own house. [3]
