וַיִּתְכַּ֣ס בַּשָּׂ֔ק [2] Munach Zaqef
וַיָּבֹ֖א [2] Tip'cha
בֵּ֥ית יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 2 1 When king Hezekiah heard it, he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the LORD’s house. [3]

אֶת־אֶלְיָקִ֨ים אֲשֶׁר־עַל־הַבַּ֜יִת [4] Qadma Geresh

זִקְנֵ֣י הַכֹּהֲנִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef

בַּשַּׂקִּ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
אֶל־יְשַׁעְיָ֥הוּ הַנָּבִ֖יא [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בֶּן־אָמֽוֹץ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 3 2 2 2 He sent Eliakim, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz. [4]

הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י בָ֤אוּ בָנִים֙ [3] Munach Mapakh Pashta
עַד־מַשְׁבֵּ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
וְכֹ֥חַ אַ֖יִן [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְלֵדָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 3 2 3 2 3 They said to him, “Hezekiah says, ‘Today is a day of trouble, of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to deliver them. [3]

אֱלֹהִ֣ים חַ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְהוֹכִ֙יחַ֙ [3] Pashta
בַּדְּבָרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁמַ֖ע [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְנָשָׂ֣אתָ תְפִלָּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
בְּעַ֥ד הַשְּׁאֵרִ֖ית [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הַנִּמְצָאָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 4 3 3 2 3 2 2 2 4 It may be the LORD your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which the LORD your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’ ” ¶ [4]

2 3 3 5 So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah. [3]

כֹּ֥ה תֹֽאמְר֖וּן [2] Merkha Tip'cha

אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה [3] Munach Revi'a
 
אַל־תִּירָא֙ [3] Pashta
מִפְּנֵ֤י הַדְּבָרִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁמַ֔עְתָּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֧ר גִּדְּפ֛וּ [3] Darga Tevir
נַעֲרֵ֥י מֶלֶךְ־אַשּׁ֖וּר [2] Merkha Tip'cha

“Don’t be afraid [3]
of the words [3]
that you have heard, [2]
 
with which they have blasphemed, [3]
the servants of the king of Assyria [2]
to me. [1]

בְּאַרְצֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 7 Behold, I will put a spirit in him, and he will hear news, and will return to his own land. I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.” ’ ” ¶ [3]

כִּ֣י שָׁמַ֔ע [2] Munach Zaqef
כִּ֥י נָסַ֖ע [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִלָּכִֽישׁ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 2 8 So Rabshakeh returned and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah; for he had heard that he had departed from Lachish. [3]

לְהִלָּחֵ֣ם אִתָּ֑ךְ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיָּ֙שׇׁב֙ [3] Pashta
וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח מַלְאָכִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֶל־חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha
לֵאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq

אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתָּ֛ה [3] Merkha Tevir
בֹּטֵ֥חַ בּ֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
לֹ֤א תִנָּתֵן֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
יְר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם [2] Munach Zaqef

מֶ֥לֶךְ אַשּֽׁוּר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 3 2 3 2 10 ‘Tell Hezekiah king of Judah this: “Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria. [3]

תִּנָּצֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 4 2 11 Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly. Will you be delivered? [4]

אֱלֹהֵ֤י הַגּוֹיִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֲשֶׁ֣ר שִׁחֲת֣וּ אֲבוֹתַ֔י [2] Munach Munach Zaqef
 
אֶת־גּוֹזָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
וְאֶת־חָרָ֑ן [1] Etnachta
 
וְרֶ֥צֶף וּבְנֵי־עֶ֖דֶן [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּתְלַאשָּֽׂר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 2 12 Have the gods of the nations delivered them, which my fathers have destroyed, Gozan, Haran, Rezeph, and the children of Eden who were in Telassar? [4]

וְעִוָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 13 Where is the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah?” ’ ” ¶ [3]

מִיַּ֥ד הַמַּלְאָכִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וַיִּקְרָאֵ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וַיַּ֙עַל֙ [3] Pashta

וַיִּפְרְשֵׂ֥הוּ חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha

1 2 3 2 3 2 14 Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it. Then Hezekiah went up to the LORD’s house, and spread it before the LORD. [3]

18 וְנָתְנ֥וּ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha

כִּי֩ לֹ֨א אֱלֹהִ֜ים [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh

כִּ֣י אִם־מַעֲשֵׂ֧ה יְדֵי־אָדָ֛ם [3] Munach Darga Tevir
עֵ֥ץ וָאֶ֖בֶן [2] Merkha Tip'cha
 
וַֽיְאַבְּדֽוּם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 4 3 18 and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone. Therefore they have destroyed them. [2]

1 2 3 2 2 3 2 3 20 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “The LORD, the God of Israel, says ‘You have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, and I have heard you. [3]

רֹ֣אשׁ הֵנִ֔יעָה [2] Munach Zaqef

1 2 2 2 3 4 3 2 3 2 21 This is the word that the LORD has spoken concerning him: ‘The virgin daughter of Zion has despised you and ridiculed you. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you. [2]

קוֹמַ֤ת אֲרָזָיו֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta

יְאֹרֵ֥י מָצֽוֹר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 24 I have dug and drunk strange waters, and I will dry up all the rivers of Egypt with the sole of my feet.” [2]

לַהְשׁ֛וֹת [3] Tevir
גַּלִּ֥ים נִצִּ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עָרִ֥ים בְּצֻרֽוֹת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

חֲצִ֣יר גַּגּ֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef
וּשְׁדֵפָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לִפְנֵ֥י קָמָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 4 2 2 26 Therefore their inhabitants had little power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were like the grass of the field, and like the green herb, like the grass on the housetops, and like grain blasted before it has grown up. [3]

הִֽתְרַגֶּזְךָ֥ אֵלָֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 27 But I know your sitting down, your going out, your coming in, and your raging against me. [3]

הִתְרַגֶּזְךָ֣ אֵלַ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְשַׁאֲנַנְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
עָלָ֣ה בְאׇזְנָ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta

אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֥אתָ בָּֽהּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

וּבַשָּׁנָ֣ה הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֗ית [3] Munach Revi'a
זִרְע֧וּ וְקִצְר֛וּ [3] Darga Tevir
וְנִטְע֥וּ כְרָמִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְאִכְל֥וּ פִרְיָֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

שֹׁ֣רֶשׁ לְמָ֑טָּה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְעָשָׂ֥ה פְרִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְמָֽעְלָה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 30 The remnant that has escaped of the house of Judah will again take root downward, and bear fruit upward. [4]

וְלֹא־יִשְׁפֹּ֥ךְ עָלֶ֖יהָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
סֹלְלָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 33 He will return the same way that he came, and he will not come to this city,’ says the LORD. [2]

לְהוֹשִׁיעָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
לְמַֽעֲנִ֔י [2] Zaqef

דָּוִ֥ד עַבְדִּֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ [3] Tevir
אֵסַר־חַדֹּ֥ן בְּנ֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
