וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef
יְדִידָ֥ה בַת־עֲדָיָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִבָּצְקַֽת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 2 1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jedidah the daughter of Adaiah of Bozkath. [3]

יָמִ֥ין וּשְׂמֹֽאול׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּד֔וֹל [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְיַתֵּ֣ם אֶת־הַכֶּ֔סֶף [2] Munach Zaqef
הַמּוּבָ֖א [2] Tip'cha
בֵּ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָסְפ֛וּ [3] Merkha Tevir
שֹׁמְרֵ֥י הַסַּ֖ף [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מֵאֵ֥ת הָעָֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

עֹשֵׂ֣י הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
הַמֻּפְקָדִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha

וְיִתְּנ֣וּ אֹת֗וֹ [3] Munach Revi'a
לְעֹשֵׂ֤י הַמְּלָאכָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֲשֶׁר֙ [3] Pashta
בְּבֵ֣ית יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לְחַזֵּ֖ק [2] Tip'cha
בֶּ֥דֶק הַבָּֽיִת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 3 3 3 2 5 Let them deliver it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the LORD’s house; and let them give it to the workmen who are in the LORD’s house, to repair the damage to the house, [3]

וְלַגֹּֽדְרִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וְלִקְנ֤וֹת עֵצִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְאַבְנֵ֣י מַחְצֵ֔ב [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לְחַזֵּ֖ק [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־הַבָּֽיִת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 6 to the carpenters, and to the builders, and to the masons, and for buying timber and cut stone to repair the house. [2]
7 אַ֚ךְ [3] Yetiv
לֹא־יֵחָשֵׁ֣ב אִתָּ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
הַכֶּ֖סֶף [2] Tip'cha
הַנִּתָּ֣ן עַל־יָדָ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּ֥י בֶאֱמוּנָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הֵ֥ם עֹשִֽׂים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 7 However there was no accounting made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand; for they dealt faithfully.” ¶ [3]

וַיִּתֵּ֨ן חִלְקִיָּ֧ה אֶת־הַסֵּ֛פֶר [3] Qadma Darga Tevir
אֶל־שָׁפָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
וַיִּקְרָאֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 2 3 2 3 8 Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the scroll of the Torah in the LORD’s house.” Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan, and he read it. [4]

וַיָּ֥שֶׁב אֶת־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'a
הִתִּ֤יכוּ עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֶת־הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ [3] Pashta
הַנִּמְצָ֣א בַבַּ֔יִת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֗הוּ [3] Revi'a
עַל־יַד֙ [3] Pashta
עֹשֵׂ֣י הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
הַמֻּפְקָדִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בֵּ֥ית יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 2 3 3 3 2 3 3 2 9 Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, “Your servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hands of the workmen who have the oversight of the LORD’s house.” [4]

וַיִּקְרָאֵ֥הוּ שָׁפָ֖ן [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 3 2 2 10 Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, “Hilkiah the priest has delivered a book to me.” Then Shaphan read it before the king. ¶ [4]

וַיִּקְרַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־בְּגָדָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 11 When the king had heard the words of the scroll of the Torah, he tore his clothes. [3]

עֲשָׂיָ֥ה עֶֽבֶד־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
 
לֵאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 4 4 4 4 3 12 The king commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Achbor the son of Micaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king’s servant, saying, [4]

בַּעֲדִ֣י וּבְעַד־הָעָ֗ם [3] Munach Revi'a

בֶּן־חַרְחַס֙ [3] Pashta
שֹׁמֵ֣ר הַבְּגָדִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְהִ֛יא [3] Tevir
יֹשֶׁ֥בֶת בִּירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בַּמִּשְׁנֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
וַֽיְדַבְּר֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
אֵלֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq

אֲשֶׁר־שָׁלַ֥ח אֶתְכֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֵלָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 2 15 She said to them, “The LORD the God of Israel says, ‘Tell the man who sent you to me, [2]
16 כֹּ֚ה [3] Yetiv
אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֥יא רָעָ֛ה [3] Qadma Merkha Tevir
אֶל־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְעַל־יֹֽשְׁבָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
אֵ֚ת [3] Yetiv
כׇּל־דִּבְרֵ֣י הַסֵּ֔פֶר [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר קָרָ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha

וַֽיְקַטְּרוּ֙ [3] Pashta
לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לְמַ֙עַן֙ [3] Pashta
הַכְעִיסֵ֔נִי [2] Zaqef
 
בְּכֹ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יְדֵיהֶ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְנִצְּתָ֧ה חֲמָתִ֛י [3] Darga Tevir
בַּמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלֹ֥א תִכְבֶּֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 2 3 2 2 3 17 Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the work of their hands, therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and it will not be quenched.’ ” [4]

אֵלָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Munach Zaqef
 
הַדְּבָרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁמָֽעְתָּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

לִֽהְי֤וֹת לְשַׁמָּה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְלִקְלָלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וַתִּקְרַע֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־בְּגָדֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef
 
וַתִּבְכֶּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לְפָנָ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
וְגַ֧ם אָנֹכִ֛י [3] Darga Tevir
שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי [2] Tip'cha
נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

וְלֹא־תִרְאֶ֣ינָה עֵינֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בְּכֹל֙ [3] Pashta
הָרָעָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִ֥י מֵבִ֖יא [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַל־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיָּשִׁ֥בוּ אֶת־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
דָּבָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 2 2 3 2 2 20 ‘Therefore behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace. Your eyes will not see all the evil which I will bring on this place.’ ” ’ ” So they brought this message back to the king. ¶ [4]
