1 וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע בֶּן־שָׁא֗וּל [3] Revi'i
כִּ֣י מֵ֤ת אַבְנֵר֙ [3] Pashta

1 2 3 3 2 2 1 When Saul’s son heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, his hands became feeble, and all the Israelites were troubled. [3]
2 וּשְׁנֵ֣י אֲנָשִׁ֣ים שָׂרֵֽי־גְדוּדִ֣ים הָי֪וּ בֶן־שָׁא֟וּל [4] Qarnei Farah
שֵׁם֩ הָאֶחָ֨ד בַּעֲנָ֜ה [4] Geresh
וְשֵׁ֧ם הַשֵּׁנִ֣י רֵכָ֗ב [3] Revi'i

1 2 3 4 4 3 2 3 2 2 Saul’s son had two men who were captains of raiding bands. The name of one was Baanah, and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, of the children of Benjamin (for Beeroth also is considered a part of Benjamin: [4]
3 וַיִּבְרְח֥וּ הַבְּאֵרֹתִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
גִּתָּ֑יְמָה [1] Etnachta
 
וַיִּהְיוּ־שָׁ֣ם גָּרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
עַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 2 3 and the Beerothites fled to Gittaim, and have lived as foreigners there until today). [2]

וּשְׁמ֥וֹ מְפִיבֹֽשֶׁת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 4 4 3 2 3 4 4 Now Jonathan, Saul’s son, had a son who was lame in his feet. He was five years old when the news came about Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel; and his nurse picked him up and fled. As she hurried to flee, he fell and became lame. His name was Mephibosheth. [3]

וַיְמִתֻ֔הוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וַיָּסִ֖ירוּ [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־רֹאשׁ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיִּקְחוּ֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־רֹאשׁ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
וַיֵּ֥לְכ֛וּ [3] Tevir
דֶּ֥רֶךְ הָעֲרָבָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
כׇּל־הַלָּֽיְלָה׃ [1] Silluq

אֲשֶׁר־פָּדָ֥ה אֶת־נַפְשִׁ֖י [2] Tip'cha
מִכׇּל־צָרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 3 2 2 9 David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said to them, “As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all adversity, [4]
10 כִּ֣י הַמַּגִּיד֩ לִ֨י לֵאמֹ֜ר [4] Geresh
הִנֵּה־מֵ֣ת שָׁא֗וּל [3] Revi'i
 
וְהֽוּא־הָיָ֤ה כִמְבַשֵּׂר֙ [3] Pashta
בְּעֵינָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
וָאֹחֲזָ֣ה ב֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
וָאֶהְרְגֵ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha
בְּצִֽקְלָ֑ג [1] Etnachta
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר לְתִתִּי־ל֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
בְּשֹׂרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

הָרְג֧וּ אֶת־אִישׁ־צַדִּ֛יק [3] Tevir

וְעַתָּ֗ה [3] Revi'i
הֲל֨וֹא אֲבַקֵּ֤שׁ אֶת־דָּמוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
מִיֶּדְכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וּבִעַרְתִּ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
מִן־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq

וַֽיְקַצְּצ֤וּ אֶת־יְדֵיהֶם֙ [3] Pashta
וְאֶת־רַגְלֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּתְל֥וּ עַל־הַבְּרֵכָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
בְּחֶבְר֑וֹן [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֵ֨ת רֹ֤אשׁ אִֽישׁ־בֹּ֙שֶׁת֙ [3 3] Pashta
לָקָ֔חוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ בְקֶבֶר־אַבְנֵ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
בְּחֶבְרֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq
