1 אֵ֣ת כׇּל־הַדָּבָ֗ר [3] Revi'i
אֲשֶׁ֤ר אָנֹכִי֙ [3] Pashta
מְצַוֶּ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
אֹת֥וֹ תִשְׁמְר֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
לַעֲשׂ֑וֹת [1] Etnachta
 
לֹא־תֹסֵ֣ף עָלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
וְלֹ֥א תִגְרַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 3 2 2 2 32 Whatever thing I command you, that you shall observe to do. You shall not add to it, nor take away from it. ¶ [3]
2 כִּֽי־יָק֤וּם בְּקִרְבְּךָ֙ [3] Pashta
נָבִ֔יא [2] Zaqef
 
א֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
חֹלֵ֣ם חֲל֑וֹם [1] Etnachta
 
וְנָתַ֥ן אֵלֶ֛יךָ [3] Tevir
א֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
א֥וֹ מוֹפֵֽת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 1 If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, [3]
3 וּבָ֤א הָאוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
וְהַמּוֹפֵ֔ת [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֥ר אֵלֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
נֵֽלְכָ֞ה [4] Gershayim
אַחֲרֵ֨י אֱלֹהִ֧ים אֲחֵרִ֛ים [3] Tevir
אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יְדַעְתָּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
וְנׇֽעׇבְדֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 4 2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, “Let’s go after other gods” (which you have not known) “and let’s serve them,” [3]
4 לֹ֣א תִשְׁמַ֗ע [3] Revi'i

הַנָּבִ֣יא הַה֔וּא [2] Zaqef
 
א֛וֹ [3] Tevir
אֶל־חוֹלֵ֥ם הַחֲל֖וֹם [2] Tip'cha
הַה֑וּא [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י מְנַסֶּ֞ה [4] Gershayim
יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙ [3] Pashta
אֶתְכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
לָדַ֗עַת [3] Revi'i
הֲיִשְׁכֶ֤ם אֹֽהֲבִים֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
בְּכׇל־לְבַבְכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
וּבְכׇל־נַפְשְׁכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 3 2 3 4 2 3 3 2 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams; for the LORD your God is testing you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. [3]
5 אַחֲרֵ֨י יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֛ם [3] Tevir
תֵּלֵ֖כוּ [2] Tip'cha
וְאֹת֣וֹ תִירָ֑אוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֶת־מִצְוֺתָ֤יו תִּשְׁמֹ֙רוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
וּבְקֹל֣וֹ תִשְׁמָ֔עוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֹת֥וֹ תַעֲבֹ֖דוּ [2] Tip'cha
וּב֥וֹ תִדְבָּקֽוּן׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 4 You shall walk after the LORD your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him. [3]
6 וְהַנָּבִ֣יא הַה֡וּא [4] Pazer
א֣וֹ חֹלֵם֩ הַחֲל֨וֹם הַה֜וּא [4] Geresh
יוּמָ֗ת [3] Revi'i
 
כִּ֣י דִבֶּר־סָ֠רָ֠ה [4 4] TelishaG
עַל־יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֜ם [4] Geresh
הַמּוֹצִ֥יא אֶתְכֶ֣ם ׀ [4] Legarmeh
מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֗יִם [3] Revi'i
 
וְהַפֹּֽדְךָ֙ [3] Pashta
מִבֵּ֣ית עֲבָדִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
לְהַדִּֽיחֲךָ֙ [3] Pashta
מִן־הַדֶּ֔רֶךְ [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֧ר צִוְּךָ֛ [3] Tevir
יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
לָלֶ֣כֶת בָּ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥ הָרָ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 4 4 3 4 4 4 3 2 3 2 3 2 5 That prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death, because he has spoken rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to draw you aside out of the way which the LORD your God commanded you to walk in. So you shall remove the evil from among you. ¶ [4]

בַּסֵּ֣תֶר לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
נֵֽלְכָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
וְנַֽעַבְדָה֙ [3] Pashta
אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁר֙ [3] Pashta
לֹ֣א יָדַ֔עְתָּ [2] Zaqef
 
אַתָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וַאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 4 4 3 2 3 3 2 3 2 6 If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, entices you secretly, saying, “Let’s go and serve other gods”—which you have not known, you, nor your fathers; [4]

אֲשֶׁר֙ [3] Pashta
סְבִיבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
הַקְּרֹבִ֣ים אֵלֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef
א֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
הָרְחֹקִ֣ים מִמֶּ֑ךָּ [1] Etnachta
 
מִקְצֵ֥ה הָאָ֖רֶץ [2] Tip'cha
וְעַד־קְצֵ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 2 7 of the gods of the peoples who are around you, near to you, or far off from you, from the one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth— [3]
9 לֹא־תֹאבֶ֣ה ל֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
וְלֹ֥א תִשְׁמַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
אֵלָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
וְלֹא־תָח֤וֹס עֵֽינְךָ֙ [3] Pashta
עָלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
וְלֹֽא־תַחְמֹ֥ל וְלֹֽא־תְכַסֶּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
עָלָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 8 you shall not consent to him nor listen to him; neither shall your eye pity him, neither shall you spare, neither shall you conceal him; [2]
10 כִּ֤י הָרֹג֙ [3] Pashta
תַּֽהַרְגֶ֔נּוּ [2] Zaqef
 
יָ֥דְךָ֛ [3] Tevir
תִּֽהְיֶה־בּ֥וֹ בָרִֽאשׁוֹנָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לַהֲמִית֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
וְיַ֥ד כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
בָּאַחֲרֹנָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 9 but you shall surely kill him. Your hand shall be first on him to put him to death, and afterwards the hands of all the people. [3]
11 וּסְקַלְתּ֥וֹ בָאֲבָנִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
וָמֵ֑ת [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י בִקֵּ֗שׁ [3] Revi'i
לְהַדִּֽיחֲךָ֙ [3] Pashta
מֵעַל֙ [3] Pashta
יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef
 
הַמּוֹצִיאֲךָ֛ [3] Tevir
מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
מִבֵּ֥ית עֲבָדִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 3 3 2 3 10 You shall stone him to death with stones, because he has sought to draw you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. [2]
12 וְכׇ֨ל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef
יִשְׁמְע֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
וְיִֽרָא֑וּן [1] Etnachta
 
וְלֹֽא־יוֹסִ֣פוּ לַעֲשׂ֗וֹת [3] Revi'i
כַּדָּבָ֥ר הָרָ֛ע [3] Tevir
הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
בְּקִרְבֶּֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 2 3 3 11 All Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall not do any more wickedness like this among you. ¶ [2]
13 כִּֽי־תִשְׁמַ֞ע [4] Gershayim
בְּאַחַ֣ת עָרֶ֗יךָ [3] Revi'i
 
אֲשֶׁר֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ [4] Geresh
נֹתֵ֥ן לְךָ֛ [3] Tevir
לָשֶׁ֥בֶת שָׁ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
 
לֵאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 4 12 If you hear [4]
in one of your cities [3]
 
which the LORD your God [4]
is giving to you [3]
to dwell there, [2]
 
that [1]
14 יָצְא֞וּ [4] Gershayim
אֲנָשִׁ֤ים בְּנֵֽי־בְלִיַּ֙עַל֙ [3 3] Pashta
מִקִּרְבֶּ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef
 
וַיַּדִּ֛יחוּ [3] Tevir
אֶת־יֹשְׁבֵ֥י עִירָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
נֵלְכָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
וְנַעַבְדָ֛ה [3] Tevir
אֱלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־יְדַעְתֶּֽם׃ [1] Silluq

certain wicked fellows [3 3]
from among you, [2]
 
and they have drawn away [3]
the inhabitants of their city [2]
saying, [1]
 
“Let’s go [3]
and let us serve [3]
other gods,” [2]
which you have not known, [1]
15 וְדָרַשְׁתָּ֧ וְחָקַרְתָּ֛ [3] Tevir
וְשָׁאַלְתָּ֖ [2] Tip'cha
הֵיטֵ֑ב [1] Etnachta
 
וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֱמֶת֙ [3] Pashta
נָכ֣וֹן הַדָּבָ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
נֶעֶשְׂתָ֛ה [3] Tevir
הַתּוֹעֵבָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את [2] Tip'cha
בְּקִרְבֶּֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 3 14 then you shall investigate and you shall search [3]
and you shall ask [2]
diligently; [1]
 
and behold, if truly [3]
the matter is certain, [2]
 
it has been done, [3]
this abomination [2]
among you, [1]
16 הַכֵּ֣ה תַכֶּ֗ה [3] Revi'i
אֶת־יֹ֥שְׁבֵ֛י [3] Tevir
הָעִ֥יר הַהִ֖וא [2] Tip'cha
לְפִי־חָ֑רֶב [1] Etnachta
 
הַחֲרֵ֨ם אֹתָ֧הּ וְאֶת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֛הּ [3] Tevir
וְאֶת־בְּהֶמְתָּ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha
לְפִי־חָֽרֶב׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 3 15 you shall surely strike [3]
the inhabitants [3]
of that city [2]
with the edge of the sword; [1]
 
totally destroying it and all who are in it [3]
and its livestock, [2]
with the edge of the sword. [1]
17 וְאֶת־כׇּל־שְׁלָלָ֗הּ [3] Revi'i
תִּקְבֹּץ֮ [3] Zarqa
אֶל־תּ֣וֹךְ רְחֹבָהּ֒ [2] Segol
 
וְשָׂרַפְתָּ֨ בָאֵ֜שׁ [4] Geresh
אֶת־הָעִ֤יר וְאֶת־כׇּל־שְׁלָלָהּ֙ [3] Pashta
כָּלִ֔יל [2] Zaqef
 
לַיהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ [1] Etnachta
 
וְהָיְתָה֙ [3] Pashta
תֵּ֣ל עוֹלָ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֥א תִבָּנֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
עֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 3 4 2 2 3 2 16 You shall gather all its plunder into the middle of its street, and shall burn with fire the city, with all of its plunder, to the LORD your God. It shall be a heap forever. It shall not be built again. [3]
18 וְלֹֽא־יִדְבַּ֧ק בְּיָדְךָ֛ [3] Tevir
מְא֖וּמָה [2] Tip'cha
מִן־הַחֵ֑רֶם [1] Etnachta
 
לְמַ֩עַן֩ יָשׁ֨וּב יְהֹוָ֜ה [4] Geresh
מֵחֲר֣וֹן אַפּ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i
 
וְנָֽתַן־לְךָ֤ רַחֲמִים֙ [3] Pashta
וְרִֽחַמְךָ֣ וְהִרְבֶּ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef
 
כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
לַאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 4 3 2 17 Nothing of the devoted thing shall cling to your hand, that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger and show you mercy, and have compassion on you and multiply you, as he has sworn to your fathers, [3]

יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef
 
לִשְׁמֹר֙ [3] Pashta

אֲשֶׁ֛ר [3] Tevir
אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
הַיּ֑וֹם [1] Etnachta
 
לַעֲשׂוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
הַיָּשָׁ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
בְּעֵינֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
