1 לֹֽא־תִרְאֶה֩ אֶת־שׁ֨וֹר אָחִ֜יךָ [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
א֤וֹ אֶת־שֵׂיוֹ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
נִדָּחִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וְהִתְעַלַּמְתָּ֖ [2] Tip'cha
מֵהֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
הָשֵׁ֥ב תְּשִׁיבֵ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְאָחִֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 2 1 You shall not see your brother’s ox or his sheep go astray and hide yourself from them. You shall surely bring them again to your brother. [4]
2 וְאִם־לֹ֨א קָר֥וֹב אָחִ֛יךָ [3] Qadma Merkha Tevir
אֵלֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
וְלֹ֣א יְדַעְתּ֑וֹ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַאֲסַפְתּוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
אֶל־תּ֣וֹךְ בֵּיתֶ֔ךָ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְהָיָ֣ה עִמְּךָ֗ [3] Munach Revi'a
עַ֣ד דְּרֹ֤שׁ אָחִ֙יךָ֙ [3] Munach Mapakh Pashta
אֹת֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
וַהֲשֵׁבֹת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 3 3 2 2 If your brother isn’t near to you, or if you don’t know him, then you shall bring it home to your house, and it shall be with you until your brother comes looking for it, and you shall restore it to him. [3]

אֲשֶׁר־תֹּאבַ֥ד מִמֶּ֖נּוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וּמְצָאתָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
לֹ֥א תוּכַ֖ל [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְהִתְעַלֵּֽם׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 4 2 2 4 You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fallen down by the way, and hide yourself from them. You shall surely help him to lift them up again. ¶ [4]
5 לֹא־יִהְיֶ֤ה כְלִי־גֶ֙בֶר֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
עַל־אִשָּׁ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְלֹא־יִלְבַּ֥שׁ גֶּ֖בֶר [2] Merkha Tip'cha

כִּ֧י תוֹעֲבַ֛ת [3] Darga Tevir
יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כׇּל־עֹ֥שֵׂה אֵֽלֶּה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

1 2 3 2 2 3 5 A woman shall not wear men’s clothing, neither shall a man put on women’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God. ¶ [3]
6 כִּ֣י יִקָּרֵ֣א קַן־צִפּ֣וֹר ׀ לְפָנֶ֡יךָ [4] Munach Munach Munach Pazer

וְהָאֵ֤ם רֹבֶ֙צֶת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
עַל־הָֽאֶפְרֹחִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
א֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
עַל־הַבֵּיצִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
לֹא־תִקַּ֥ח הָאֵ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַל־הַבָּנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

וְהַאֲרַכְתָּ֖ [2] Tip'cha
יָמִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 2 2 3 2 7 You shall surely let the hen go, but the young you may take for yourself, that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days. ¶ [3]

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ מַעֲקֶ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְגַגֶּ֑ךָ [1] Etnachta
 
וְלֹֽא־תָשִׂ֤ים דָּמִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּבֵיתֶ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef
 
כִּֽי־יִפֹּ֥ל הַנֹּפֵ֖ל [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 8 When you build a new house, then you shall make a railing around your roof, so that you don’t bring blood on your house if anyone falls from there. ¶ [3]

פֶּן־תִּקְדַּ֗שׁ [3] Revi'a
הַֽמְלֵאָ֤ה הַזֶּ֙רַע֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּזְרָ֔ע [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּתְבוּאַ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
הַכָּֽרֶם׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 3 3 2 9 You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest all the fruit be defiled, the seed which you have sown, and the increase of the vineyard. [2]
10 לֹֽא־תַחֲרֹ֥שׁ בְּשׁוֹר־וּבַחֲמֹ֖ר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יַחְדָּֽו׃ [1] Silluq
2 10 You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together. [2]
11 לֹ֤א תִלְבַּשׁ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
שַֽׁעַטְנֵ֔ז [2] Zaqef
 
צֶ֥מֶר וּפִשְׁתִּ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יַחְדָּֽו׃ [1] Silluq

2 3 2 11 You shall not wear clothes of wool and linen woven together. ¶ [3]
12 גְּדִלִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
תַּעֲשֶׂה־לָּ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
עַל־אַרְבַּ֛ע [3] Tevir
כַּנְפ֥וֹת כְּסוּתְךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁ֥ר תְּכַסֶּה־בָּֽהּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

1 2 2 3 12 You shall make yourselves fringes on the four corners of your cloak with which you cover yourself. ¶ [2]
13 כִּֽי־יִקַּ֥ח אִ֖ישׁ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אִשָּׁ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
וּבָ֥א אֵלֶ֖יהָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וּשְׂנֵאָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 13 If any man takes a wife, and goes in to her, hates her, [2]
14 וְשָׂ֥ם לָהּ֙ [3] Merkha Pashta
עֲלִילֹ֣ת דְּבָרִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְהוֹצִ֥א עָלֶ֖יהָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
שֵׁ֣ם רָ֑ע [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְאָמַ֗ר [3] Revi'a
אֶת־הָאִשָּׁ֤ה הַזֹּאת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לָקַ֔חְתִּי [2] Zaqef
 
וָאֶקְרַ֣ב אֵלֶ֔יהָ [2] Munach Zaqef
וְלֹא־מָצָ֥אתִי לָ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּתוּלִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 3 2 2 14 accuses her of shameful things, gives her a bad name, and says, “I took this woman, and when I came near to her, I didn’t find in her the tokens of virginity;” [3]
15 וְלָקַ֛ח [3] Tevir
אֲבִ֥י הַֽנַּעֲרָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְאִמָּ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְהוֹצִ֜יאוּ [4] Geresh
אֶת־בְּתוּלֵ֧י הַֽנַּעֲרָ֛ [3] Darga Tevir
אֶל־זִקְנֵ֥י הָעִ֖יר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הַשָּֽׁעְרָה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 4 15 then the young lady’s father and mother shall take and bring the tokens of the young lady’s virginity to the elders of the city in the gate. [3]
16 וְאָמַ֛ר [3] Tevir
אֲבִ֥י הַֽנַּעֲרָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֶל־הַזְּקֵנִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
אֶת־בִּתִּ֗י [3] Revi'a
 
נָתַ֜תִּי [4] Geresh
לָאִ֥ישׁ הַזֶּ֛ה [3] Merkha Tevir
לְאִשָּׁ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
 
וַיִּשְׂנָאֶֽהָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 3 4 16 The young lady’s father shall tell the elders, “I gave my daughter to this man as his wife, and he hates her. [3]
17 וְהִנֵּה־ה֡וּא [4] Pazer
שָׂם֩ עֲלִילֹ֨ת דְּבָרִ֜ים [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
לֵאמֹ֗ר [3] Revi'a
 
לֹֽא־מָצָ֤אתִי לְבִתְּךָ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּתוּלִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֵ֖לֶּה [2] Tip'cha
בְּתוּלֵ֣י בִתִּ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וּפָֽרְשׂוּ֙ [3] Pashta
הַשִּׂמְלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
לִפְנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
זִקְנֵ֥י הָעִֽיר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 3 2 2 3 2 17 Behold, he has accused her of shameful things, saying, ‘I didn’t find in your daughter the tokens of virginity;’ and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity.” They shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. [4]
18 וְלָ֥קְח֛וּ [3] Merkha Tevir
זִקְנֵ֥י הָֽעִיר־הַהִ֖וא [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֶת־הָאִ֑ישׁ [1] Etnachta
 
וְיִסְּר֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
אֹתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 18 The elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him. [3]
19 וְעָנְשׁ֨וּ אֹת֜וֹ [4] Qadma Geresh
מֵ֣אָה כֶ֗סֶף [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וְנָתְנוּ֙ [3] Pashta
לַאֲבִ֣י הַֽנַּעֲרָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
כִּ֤י הוֹצִיא֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
שֵׁ֣ם רָ֔ע [2] Munach Zaqef
 
עַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
בְּתוּלַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְלֽוֹ־תִהְיֶ֣ה לְאִשָּׁ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
לֹא־יוּכַ֥ל לְשַׁלְּחָ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כׇּל־יָמָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 4 3 2 3 2 2 2 19 They shall fine him one hundred shekels of silver, and give them to the father of the young lady, because he has given a bad name to a virgin of Israel. She shall be his wife. He may not put her away all his days. ¶ [4]
20 וְאִם־אֱמֶ֣ת הָיָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
הַדָּבָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
הַזֶּ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
לֹא־נִמְצְא֥וּ בְתוּלִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לַֽנַּעֲרָֽ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 20 But if this thing is true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the young lady, [2]
21 וְהוֹצִ֨יאוּ אֶת־הַֽנַּעֲרָ֜ [4] Qadma Geresh
אֶל־פֶּ֣תַח בֵּית־אָבִ֗יהָ [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וּסְקָל֩וּהָ֩ אַנְשֵׁ֨י עִירָ֤הּ בָּאֲבָנִים֙ [3] TelishaQ Qadma Mapakh Pashta
וָמֵ֔תָה [2] Zaqef
 
כִּֽי־עָשְׂתָ֤ה נְבָלָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
לִזְנ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
בֵּ֣ית אָבִ֑יהָ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥ הָרָ֖ע [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 4 3 2 3 2 2 21 then they shall bring out the young lady to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done folly in Israel, to play the prostitute in her father’s house. So you shall remove the evil from among you. ¶ [4]
22 כִּֽי־יִמָּצֵ֨א אִ֜ישׁ [4] Qadma Geresh
שֹׁכֵ֣ב ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh
עִם־אִשָּׁ֣ה בְעֻֽלַת־בַּ֗עַל [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וּמֵ֙תוּ֙ [3] Pashta
גַּם־שְׁנֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
הָאִ֛ישׁ [3] Tevir
הַשֹּׁכֵ֥ב עִם־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְהָאִשָּׁ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥ הָרָ֖ע [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 4 4 3 2 3 2 22 If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both die, the man who lay with the woman and the woman. So you shall remove the evil from Israel. [4]

נַעֲרָ֣ בְתוּלָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מְאֹרָשָׂ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לְאִ֑ישׁ [1] Etnachta
 
וּמְצָאָ֥הּ אִ֛ישׁ [3] Merkha Tevir
בָּעִ֖יר [2] Tip'cha
וְשָׁכַ֥ב עִמָּֽהּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 23 If there is a young lady who is a virgin pledged to be married to a husband, and a man finds her in the city, and lies with her, [3]
24 וְהוֹצֵאתֶ֨ם אֶת־שְׁנֵיהֶ֜ם [4] Qadma Geresh
אֶל־שַׁ֣עַר ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh
הָעִ֣יר הַהִ֗וא [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וּסְקַלְתֶּ֨ם אֹתָ֥ם בָּאֲבָנִים֮ [3] Qadma Merkha Zarqa
וָמֵ֒תוּ֒ [2] Segol
 
אֶת־הַֽנַּעֲרָ֗ [3] Revi'a
עַל־דְּבַר֙ [3] Pashta
אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־צָעֲקָ֣ה בָעִ֔יר [2] Munach Munach Zaqef
 
וְאֶ֨ת־הָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Qadma Zaqef
עַל־דְּבַ֥ר אֲשֶׁר־עִנָּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֶת־אֵ֣שֶׁת רֵעֵ֑הוּ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥ הָרָ֖ע [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 4 4 3 2 3 3 2 2 2 24 then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones; the lady, because she didn’t cry, being in the city; and the man, because he has humbled his neighbor’s wife. So you shall remove the evil from among you. [4]
25 וְֽאִם־בַּשָּׂדֶ֞ה [4] Gershayim
יִמְצָ֣א הָאִ֗ישׁ [3] Munach Revi'a
 
אֶת־הַֽנַּעֲרָ֙ [3] Pashta
הַמְאֹ֣רָשָׂ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְהֶחֱזִֽיק־בָּ֥הּ הָאִ֖ישׁ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְשָׁכַ֣ב עִמָּ֑הּ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וּמֵ֗ת [3] Revi'a
הָאִ֛ישׁ [3] Tevir
אֲשֶׁר־שָׁכַ֥ב עִמָּ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְבַדּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 2 2 3 3 25 But if the man finds the lady who is pledged to be married in the field, and the man forces her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die; [4]
26 וְלַֽנַּעֲרָ֙ [3] Pashta
לֹא־תַעֲשֶׂ֣ה דָבָ֔ר [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֵ֥ין לַֽנַּעֲרָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
חֵ֣טְא מָ֑וֶת [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּ֡י [4] Pazer
כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ יָק֨וּם אִ֤ישׁ עַל־רֵעֵ֙הוּ֙ [3] TelishaQ Qadma Mapakh Pashta
וּרְצָח֣וֹ נֶ֔פֶשׁ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
כֵּ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 4 2 26 but to the lady you shall do nothing. There is in the lady no sin worthy of death; for as when a man rises against his neighbor and kills him, even so is this matter; [3]
27 כִּ֥י בַשָּׂדֶ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מְצָאָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
צָעֲקָ֗ה [3] Revi'a
הַֽנַּעֲרָ֙ [3] Pashta
הַמְאֹ֣רָשָׂ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְאֵ֥ין מוֹשִׁ֖יעַ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 3 3 2 27 for he found her in the field, the pledged to be married lady cried, and there was no one to save her. [2]
28 כִּֽי־יִמְצָ֣א אִ֗ישׁ [3] Munach Revi'a
נַעֲרָ֤ בְתוּלָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־אֹרָ֔שָׂה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּתְפָשָׂ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha
וְשָׁכַ֣ב עִמָּ֑הּ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְנִמְצָֽאוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 28 If a man finds a lady who is a virgin, who is not pledged to be married, grabs her and lies with her, and they are found, [3]
29 וְ֠נָתַ֠ן [4] TelishaG
הָאִ֨ישׁ הַשֹּׁכֵ֥ב עִמָּ֛הּ [3] Qadma Merkha Tevir
לַאֲבִ֥י הַֽנַּעֲרָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים כָּ֑סֶף [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְלֽוֹ־תִהְיֶ֣ה לְאִשָּׁ֗ה [3] Munach Revi'a
תַּ֚חַת [3] Yetiv
אֲשֶׁ֣ר עִנָּ֔הּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לֹא־יוּכַ֥ל שַׁלְּחָ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כׇּל־יָמָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 4 2 3 3 2 29 then the man who lay with her shall give to the lady’s father fifty shekels of silver. She shall be his wife, because he has humbled her. He may not put her away all his days. [4]
