1 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
2 1 Again the LORD’s word came to me, saying, [2]
2 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם [2] ZaqefG
הוֹדַ֥ע אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֶת־תּוֹעֲבֹתֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 2 “Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations; [2]
3 וְאָמַרְתָּ֞ [4] Gershayim
כֹּה־אָמַ֨ר אֲדֹנָ֤י יֱהֹוִה֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
לִיר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מְכֹרֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ [3] Pashta
וּמֹ֣לְדֹתַ֔יִךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מֵאֶ֖רֶץ [2] Tip'cha
הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
אָבִ֥יךְ הָאֱמֹרִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְאִמֵּ֥ךְ חִתִּֽית׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 3 2 2 3 and say, ‘The Lord GOD says to Jerusalem: “Your origin and your birth is of the land of the Canaanite. An Amorite was your father, and your mother was a Hittite. [4]

בְּי֨וֹם הוּלֶּ֤דֶת אוֹתָךְ֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
לֹא־כָרַּ֣ת שָׁרֵּ֔ךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּבְמַ֥יִם לֹא־רֻחַ֖צְתְּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְמִשְׁעִ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
וְהׇמְלֵ֙חַ֙ [3] Pashta
לֹ֣א הֻמְלַ֔חַתְּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְהׇחְתֵּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א חֻתָּֽלְתְּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 3 2 4 As for your birth, in the day you were born your navel was not cut. You weren’t washed in water to cleanse you. You weren’t salted at all, nor wrapped in blankets at all. [3]

בְּגֹ֣עַל נַפְשֵׁ֔ךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בְּי֖וֹם [2] Tip'cha
הֻלֶּ֥דֶת אֹתָֽךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

וּשְׂעָרֵ֣ךְ צִמֵּ֔חַ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְאַ֖תְּ [2] Tip'cha
עֵרֹ֥ם וְעֶרְיָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 3 2 2 3 2 7 I caused you to multiply as that which grows in the field, and you increased and grew great, and you attained to excellent ornament. Your breasts were formed, and your hair grew; yet you were naked and bare. ¶ [3]

1 2 2 2 2 10 I clothed you also with embroidered work, and put sealskin sandals on you. I dressed you with fine linen and covered you with silk. [2]

1 2 3 2 2 12 I put a ring on your nose, and earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head. [3]

אֲשֶׁר־שַׂ֣מְתִּי עָלַ֔יִךְ [2] Munach Zaqef

אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

עַל־שְׁמֵ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וַתִּשְׁפְּכִ֧י אֶת־תַּזְנוּתַ֛יִךְ [3] Darga Tevir
עַל־כׇּל־עוֹבֵ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
לוֹ־יֶֽהִי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 15 “ ‘ “But you trusted in your beauty, and played the prostitute because of your renown, and poured out your prostitution on everyone who passed by. It was his. [2]
16 וַתִּקְחִ֣י מִבְּגָדַ֗יִךְ [3] Munach Revi'a
וַתַּֽעֲשִׂי־לָךְ֙ [3] Pashta
בָּמ֣וֹת טְלֻא֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַתִּזְנִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
לֹ֥א בָא֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלֹ֥א יִהְיֶֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 16 You took some of your garments, and made for yourselves high places decked with various colors, and played the prostitute on them. This shall not happen, neither shall it be. [3]

מִזְּהָבִ֤י וּמִכַּסְפִּי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָתַ֣תִּי לָ֔ךְ [2] Munach Munach Zaqef
 
וַתַּעֲשִׂי־לָ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
צַלְמֵ֣י זָכָ֑ר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַתִּזְנִי־בָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

לְרֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וַיֶּ֑הִי [1] Etnachta

אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

וַתִּזְבָּחִ֥ים לָהֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha

הַמְעַ֖ט [2] Tip'cha
*מתזנותך **מִתַּזְנוּתָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Silluq

בְּהַעֲבִ֥יר אוֹתָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha

1 2 2 2 21 that you have slain my children, and delivered them up, in causing them to pass through the fire to them? [2]
22 וְאֵ֤ת כׇּל־תּוֹעֲבֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְתַזְנֻתַ֔יִךְ [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֥א *זכרתי **זָכַ֖רְתְּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha

בִּֽהְיוֹתֵךְ֙ [3] Pashta
עֵירֹ֣ם וְעֶרְיָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מִתְבּוֹסֶ֥סֶת בְּדָמֵ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הָיִֽית׃ [1] Silluq

וַתַּעֲשִׂי־לָ֥ךְ רָמָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּכׇל־רְחֽוֹב׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 24 “that you have built for yourselves a vaulted place, and have made yourselves a lofty place in every street. [2]
25 אֶל־כׇּל־רֹ֣אשׁ דֶּ֗רֶךְ [3] Munach Revi'a

רָמָתֵ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וַתְּתַֽעֲבִי֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־יׇפְיֵ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וַתְּפַשְּׂקִ֥י אֶת־רַגְלַ֖יִךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְכׇל־עוֹבֵ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
וַתַּרְבִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־*תזנותך **תַּזְנוּתָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 3 2 2 25 You have built your lofty place at the head of every way, and have made your beauty an abomination, and have opened your feet to everyone who passed by, and multiplied your prostitution. [3]
26 וַתִּזְנִ֧י אֶל־בְּנֵי־מִצְרַ֛יִם [3] Darga Tevir
שְׁכֵנַ֖יִךְ [2] Tip'cha
גִּדְלֵ֣י בָשָׂ֑ר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַתַּרְבִּ֥י אֶת־תַּזְנֻתֵ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְהַכְעִיסֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 26 You have also committed sexual immorality with the Egyptians, your neighbors, great of flesh; and have multiplied your prostitution, to provoke me to anger. [3]
27 וְהִנֵּ֨ה נָטִ֤יתִי יָדִי֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta

וָאֶגְרַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
חֻקֵּ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וָאֶתְּנֵ֞ךְ [4] Gershayim
בְּנֶ֤פֶשׁ שֹׂנְאוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּנ֣וֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
הַנִּכְלָמ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
מִדַּרְכֵּ֥ךְ זִמָּֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

לֹ֥א שָׂבָֽעַתְּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 28 You have played the prostitute also with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; yes, you have played the prostitute with them, and yet you weren’t satisfied. [3]
29 וַתַּרְבִּ֧י אֶת־תַּזְנוּתֵ֛ךְ [3] Darga Tevir
אֶל־אֶ֥רֶץ כְּנַ֖עַן [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כַּשְׂדִּ֑ימָה [1] Etnachta
 
וְגַם־בְּזֹ֖את [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א שָׂבָֽעַתְּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 29 You have moreover multiplied your prostitution to the land of merchants, to Kasdimah; and yet you weren’t satisfied with this. ¶ [3]

מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה אִשָּֽׁה־זוֹנָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
שַׁלָּֽטֶת׃ [1] Silluq

31 בִּבְנוֹתַ֤יִךְ גַּבֵּךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּרֹ֣אשׁ כׇּל־דֶּ֔רֶךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְרָמָתֵ֥ךְ *עשיתי **עָשִׂ֖ית [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּכׇל־רְח֑וֹב [1] Etnachta
 
וְלֹא־*הייתי **הָיִ֥ית כַּזּוֹנָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְקַלֵּ֥ס אֶתְנָֽן׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 31 in that you build your vaulted place at the head of every way, and make your lofty place in every street, and have not been as a prostitute, in that you scorn pay. ¶ [3]

33 לְכׇל־זֹנ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
יִתְּנוּ־נֵ֑דֶה [1] Etnachta
 
וְאַ֨תְּ נָתַ֤תְּ אֶת־נְדָנַ֙יִךְ֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
לְכׇל־מְאַֽהֲבַ֔יִךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וַתִּשְׁחֳדִ֣י אוֹתָ֗ם [3] Munach Revi'a
לָב֥וֹא אֵלַ֛יִךְ [3] Merkha Tevir
מִסָּבִ֖יב [2] Tip'cha
בְּתַזְנוּתָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 3 3 33 People give gifts to all prostitutes; but you give your gifts to all your lovers, and bribe them, that they may come to you on every side for your prostitution. [2]
34 וַיְהִי־בָ֨ךְ הֵ֤פֶךְ מִן־הַנָּשִׁים֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
