	¹כֹּ֚ה [3] Yetiv אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef הָלֹ֛ךְ [3] Tevir וְקָנִ֥יתָ בַקְבֻּ֖ק [2] Merkha Tip'cha יוֹצֵ֣ר חָ֑רֶשׂ [1] Munach Etnachta וּמִזִּקְנֵ֣י הָעָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef וּמִזִּקְנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq		¹Thus said the LORD, “Go, and buy a potter’s earthen container, and take some of the elders of the people, and of the elders of the priests; [3]
	²וְיָצָ֙אתָ֙ [3] Pashta אֶל־גֵּ֣יא בֶן־הִנֹּ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֕ר [2] ZaqefG פֶּ֖תַח [2] Tip'cha שַׁ֣עַר החרסות *הַחַרְסִ֑ית [1] Munach Etnachta וְקָרָ֣אתָ שָּׁ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁר־אֲדַבֵּ֥ר אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²and go out to the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the gate Harsith, and proclaim there the words that I will tell you. [3]
	³וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ [3] Pashta שִׁמְע֣וּ דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וְיֹשְׁבֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם [1] Etnachta כֹּֽה־אָמַר֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל [3] Munach Revi'a הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֤יא רָעָה֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta עַל־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר כׇּל־שֹׁמְעָ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha תִּצַּ֥לְנָה אׇזְנָֽיו׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		³Say, ‘Hear the LORD’s word, kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem: The LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel says, “Behold, I will bring evil on this place, which whoever hears, his ears will tingle. [3]
	⁴יַ֣עַן ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֲזָבֻ֗נִי [3] Munach Revi'a וַֽיְנַכְּר֞וּ [4] Gershayim אֶת־הַמָּק֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וַיְקַטְּרוּ־בוֹ֙ [3] Pashta לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹא־יְדָע֛וּם [3] Darga Tevir הֵ֥מָּה וַאֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha וּמַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta וּמָ֥לְא֛וּ [3] Merkha Tevir אֶת־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha דַּ֥ם נְקִיִּֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁴Because they have forsaken me, and have defiled this place, and have burned incense in it to other gods that they didn’t know, they, their fathers, and the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents, [4]
	⁵וּבָנ֞וּ [4] Gershayim אֶת־בָּמ֣וֹת הַבַּ֗עַל [3] Munach Revi'a לִשְׂרֹ֧ף אֶת־בְּנֵיהֶ֛ם [3] Darga Tevir בָּאֵ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha עֹל֣וֹת לַבָּ֑עַל [1] Munach Etnachta אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־צִוִּ֙יתִי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וְלֹ֣א דִבַּ֔רְתִּי [2] Munach Zaqef וְלֹ֥א עָלְתָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha עַל־לִבִּֽי׃ [1] Silluq פ		⁵and have built the high places of Baal, to burn their children in the fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I didn’t command, nor speak, which didn’t even enter into my mind. [4]
	⁶לָכֵ֞ן [4] Gershayim הִנֵּֽה־יָמִ֤ים בָּאִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְלֹא־יִקָּרֵא֩ לַמָּק֨וֹם הַזֶּ֥ה ע֛וֹד [3] TelishaQ Qadma Merkha Tevir הַתֹּ֖פֶת [2] Tip'cha וְגֵ֣יא בֶן־הִנֹּ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta כִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha אִם־גֵּ֥יא הַהֲרֵגָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁶Therefore, behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that this place will no more be called ‘Topheth’, nor ‘The Valley of the son of Hinnom’, but ‘The valley of Slaughter’. ¶ [4]
	⁷וּ֠בַקֹּתִ֠י [4] TelishaG אֶת־עֲצַ֨ת יְהוּדָ֤ה וִירוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta בַּמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וְהִפַּלְתִּ֤ים בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לִפְנֵ֣י אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef וּבְיַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha מְבַקְשֵׁ֣י נַפְשָׁ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־נִבְלָתָם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לְמַֽאֲכָ֔ל [2] Zaqef לְע֥וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha וּלְבֶהֱמַ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁷“ ‘ “I will make the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem void in this place. I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those who seek their life. I will give their dead bodies to be food for the birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth. [4]
	⁸וְשַׂמְתִּי֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את [2] Munach Zaqef לְשַׁמָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֑ה [1] Etnachta כֹּ֚ל [3] Yetiv עֹבֵ֣ר עָלֶ֔יהָ [2] Munach Zaqef יִשֹּׁ֥ם וְיִשְׁרֹ֖ק [2] Merkha Tip'cha עַל־כׇּל־מַכֹּתֶֽהָ׃ [1] Silluq		⁸I will make this city an astonishment and a hissing. Everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss because of all its plagues. [3]
	⁹וְהַֽאֲכַלְתִּ֞ים [4] Gershayim אֶת־בְּשַׂ֣ר בְּנֵיהֶ֗ם [3] Munach Revi'a וְאֵת֙ [3] Pashta בְּשַׂ֣ר בְּנֹתֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef וְאִ֥ישׁ בְּשַׂר־רֵעֵ֖הוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha יֹאכֵ֑לוּ [1] Etnachta בְּמָצוֹר֙ [3] Pashta וּבְמָצ֔וֹק [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָצִ֧יקוּ לָהֶ֛ם [3] Qadma Darga Tevir אֹיְבֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha וּמְבַקְשֵׁ֥י נַפְשָֽׁם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁹I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters. They will each eat the flesh of his friend in the siege and in the distress, with which their enemies, and those who seek their life, will distress them.” ’ ¶ [4]
	¹⁰וְשָׁבַרְתָּ֖ [2] Tip'cha הַבַּקְבֻּ֑ק [1] Etnachta לְעֵינֵי֙ [3] Pashta הָאֲנָשִׁ֔ים [2] Zaqef הַהֹלְכִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha אוֹתָֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁰“Then you shall break the container in the sight of the men who go with you, [2]
	¹¹וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם [4] Qadma Geresh כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת [3] Munach Revi'a כָּ֣כָה אֶשְׁבֹּ֞ר [4] Munach Gershayim אֶת־הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וְאֶת־הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את [2] Munach Zaqef כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁבֹּר֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶת־כְּלִ֣י הַיּוֹצֵ֔ר [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֛ר [3] Tevir לֹא־יוּכַ֥ל לְהֵרָפֵ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha ע֑וֹד [1] Etnachta וּבְתֹ֣פֶת יִקְבְּר֔וּ [2] Munach Zaqef מֵאֵ֥ין מָק֖וֹם [2] Merkha Tip'cha לִקְבּֽוֹר׃ [1] Silluq		¹¹and shall tell them, ‘The LORD of Hosts says: “Even so I will break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter’s vessel, that can’t be made whole again. They will bury in Topheth, until there is no place to bury. [4]
	¹²כֵּֽן־אֶעֱשֶׂ֞ה [4] Gershayim לַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֛ה [3] Merkha Tevir נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וּלְיֽוֹשְׁבָ֑יו [1] Etnachta וְלָתֵ֛ת [3] Tevir אֶת־הָעִ֥יר הַזֹּ֖את [2] Merkha Tip'cha כְּתֹֽפֶת׃ [1] Silluq		¹²This is what I will do to this place,” says the LORD, “and to its inhabitants, even making this city as Topheth. [4]
	¹³וְהָי֞וּ [4] Gershayim בָּתֵּ֣י יְרוּשָׁלַ֗͏ִם [3] Munach Revi'a וּבָתֵּי֙ [3] Pashta מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef כִּמְק֥וֹם הַתֹּ֖פֶת [2] Merkha Tip'cha הַטְּמֵאִ֑ים [1] Etnachta לְכֹ֣ל הַבָּתִּ֗ים [3] Munach Revi'a אֲשֶׁ֨ר קִטְּר֜וּ [4] Qadma Geresh עַל־גַּגֹּֽתֵיהֶם֙ [3] Pashta לְכֹל֙ [3] Pashta צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם [2] Munach Zaqef וְהַסֵּ֥ךְ נְסָכִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha לֵאלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq פ		¹³The houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, which are defiled, will be as the place of Topheth, even all the houses on whose roofs they have burned incense to all the army of the sky and have poured out drink offerings to other gods.” ’ ” ¶ [4]
	¹⁴וַיָּבֹ֤א יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta מֵֽהַתֹּ֔פֶת [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֨ר שְׁלָח֧וֹ יְהֹוָ֛ה [3] Qadma Darga Tevir שָׁ֖ם [2] Tip'cha לְהִנָּבֵ֑א [1] Etnachta וַֽיַּעֲמֹד֙ [3] Pashta בַּחֲצַ֣ר בֵּית־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וַיֹּ֖אמֶר [2] Tip'cha אֶל־כׇּל־הָעָֽם׃ [1] Silluq ס		¹⁴Then Jeremiah came from Topheth, where the LORD had sent him to prophesy, and he stood in the court of the LORD’s house, and said to all the people: [3]
	¹⁵כֹּה־אָמַ֞ר [4] Gershayim יְהֹוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Munach Zaqef הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֜י [4] Qadma Geresh אֶל־הָעִ֤יר הַזֹּאת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וְעַל־כׇּל־עָרֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef אֵ֚ת [3] Yetiv כׇּל־הָ֣רָעָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי [2] Merkha Tip'cha עָלֶ֑יהָ [1] Etnachta כִּ֤י הִקְשׁוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶת־עׇרְפָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef לְבִלְתִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha שְׁמ֥וֹעַ אֶת־דְּבָרָֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁵“The LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel says, ‘Behold, I will bring on this city and on all its towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have made their neck stiff, that they may not hear my words.’ ” ¶ [4]
