1 2 3 3 2 2 3 3 2 2 Now at that time the king of Babylon’s army was besieging Jerusalem. Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the guard, which was in the king of Judah’s house. ¶ [3]

כִּ֣י הִנָּתֹ֤ן יִנָּתֵן֙ [3] Munach Mapakh Pashta
בְּיַ֣ד מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֔ל [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְדִבֶּר־פִּ֣יו עִם־פִּ֔יו [2] Munach Zaqef
וְעֵינָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־עֵינָ֥ו תִּרְאֶֽינָה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 2 4 and Zedekiah king of Judah won’t escape out of the hand of the Kasdim, but will surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes will see his eyes; [3]

אֶת־הַכַּשְׂדִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א תַצְלִֽיחוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

Buy it for yourself.’ ¶“Then I knew that this was the LORD’s word. [4]

וּשְׂרָפ֑וּהָ [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֵ֣ת הַבָּתִּ֡ים [4] Munach Pazer
אֲשֶׁר֩ קִטְּר֨וּ עַל־גַּגּוֹתֵיהֶ֜ם [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
לַבַּ֗עַל [3] Revi'a
 
וְהִסִּ֤כוּ נְסָכִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לְמַ֖עַן [2] Tip'cha
הַכְעִסֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq

בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יְדֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha

וְאֵינָ֥ם שֹׁמְעִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לָקַ֥חַת מוּסָֽר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

2 3 3 34 But they set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it. [3]
35 וַיִּבְנוּ֩ אֶת־בָּמ֨וֹת הַבַּ֜עַל [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh

אֶל־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְהֹשַׁבְתִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
לָבֶֽטַח׃ [1] Silluq
