| 1 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq |
1 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, [2] |

| 2 דַּבֵּ֞ר [4] Gershayim אֶל־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ [3] Pashta לֵאמֹ֔ר [2] Zaqef כִּ֣י תַזְרִ֔יעַ [2] Zaqef זָכָ֑ר [1] Etnachta שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef נִדַּ֥ת דְּוֺתָ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha תִּטְמָֽא׃ [1] Silluq |
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean. [4] |

| 3 וּבַיּ֖וֹם [2] Tip'cha הַשְּׁמִינִ֑י [1] Etnachta בְּשַׂ֥ר עׇרְלָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
3 In the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. [2] |

| 4 וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים יוֹם֙ [3] Pashta וּשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef בִּדְמֵ֣י טׇהֳרָ֑הֿ [1] Etnachta וְאֶל־הַמִּקְדָּשׁ֙ [3] Pashta לֹ֣א תָבֹ֔א [2] Zaqef יְמֵ֥י טׇהֳרָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
4 She shall continue in the blood of purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any holy thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed. [3] |

| 5 וְאִם־נְקֵבָ֣ה תֵלֵ֔ד [2] Zaqef וְטָמְאָ֥ה שְׁבֻעַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha כְּנִדָּתָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta וְשֵׁ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef עַל־דְּמֵ֥י טׇהֳרָֽהֿ׃ [1] Silluq |
5 But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her period; and she shall continue in the blood of purification sixty-six days. ¶ [2] |

| 6 וּבִמְלֹ֣את ׀ [4] Legarmeh יְמֵ֣י טׇהֳרָ֗הּ [3] Revi'i א֣וֹ לְבַת֒ [2] Segol כֶּ֤בֶשׂ בֶּן־שְׁנָתוֹ֙ [3] Pashta לְעֹלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef לְחַטָּ֑את [1] Etnachta אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ [1] Silluq |
6 “ ‘When the days of her purification are completed for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the door of the Tent of Meeting, a year old lamb for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove, for a sin offering. [4] |

| 7 וְהִקְרִיב֞וֹ [4] Gershayim לִפְנֵ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta וְכִפֶּ֣ר עָלֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef מִמְּקֹ֣ר דָּמֶ֑יהָ [1] Etnachta הַיֹּלֶ֔דֶת [2] Zaqef א֥וֹ לַנְּקֵבָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
7 He shall offer it before the LORD, and make atonement for her; then she shall be cleansed from the fountain of her blood. ¶“ ‘This is the law for her who bears, whether a male or a female. [4] |

| 8 וְאִם־לֹ֨א תִמְצָ֣א יָדָהּ֮ [3] Zarqa דֵּ֣י שֶׂה֒ [2] Segol א֤וֹ שְׁנֵי֙ [3] Pashta בְּנֵ֣י יוֹנָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְאֶחָ֣ד לְחַטָּ֑את [1] Etnachta הַכֹּהֵ֖ן [2] Tip'cha וְטָהֵֽרָה׃ [1] Silluq פ |
8 If she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons: the one for a burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering. The priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.’ ” ¶ [3] |
