1 From the depths I call out to you [2]
O LORD. [1]
2 אֲדֹנָי֮ [3] Sinnor
שִׁמְעָ֢ה בְק֫וֹלִ֥י [2] Ole Veyored
 
תִּהְיֶ֣ינָה אׇ֭זְנֶיךָ [3] Dechi
קַשֻּׁב֑וֹת [2] Etnachta
 
לְ֝ק֗וֹל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

hear my voice; [2]
 
may your ears be [3]
attentive [2]
 
to the voice [2]
of my petitions. [1]
3 אִם־עֲוֺנ֥וֹת תִּשְׁמׇר־יָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta

מִ֣י יַעֲמֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 3 If a record of sins you kept O LORD; [2]
 
O Lord, [2]
who would stand? [1]
4 כִּֽי־עִמְּךָ֥ הַסְּלִיחָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
לְ֝מַ֗עַן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תִּוָּרֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 4 But with you there is forgiveness; [2]
 
that [2]
you may be feared. [1]
5 קִוִּ֣יתִי יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
קִוְּתָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽלִדְבָר֥וֹ הוֹחָֽלְתִּי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 5 I wait for the LORD, [3]
my soul waits; [2]
 
and in his word I hope, [1]
6 נַפְשִׁ֥י לַאדֹנָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
מִשֹּׁמְרִ֥ים לַ֝בֹּ֗קֶר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שֹׁמְרִ֥ים לַבֹּֽקֶר׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 6 my soul for the Lord; [2]
 
more than watchmen for the morning, [2]
watchmen for the morning. [1]
7 יַחֵ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל [3] Revi'i
אֶל־יְ֫הֹוָ֥ה [2] Ole Veyored
 
כִּֽי־עִם־יְהֹוָ֥ה הַחֶ֑סֶד [2] Etnachta
וְהַרְבֵּ֖ה עִמּ֣וֹ [2] VRevMug
פְדֽוּת׃ [1] Silluq

for with the LORD is lovingkindness, [2]
and abundant with him [2]

יִפְדֶּ֣ה אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta

עֲוֺנֹתָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
