1b אָ֘מַ֤ר נָבָ֣ל בְּ֭לִבּוֹ [3] Dechi
אֵ֣ין אֱלֹהִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
הִֽשְׁחִ֗יתוּ [3] Revi'i
הִֽתְעִ֥יבוּ עֲלִילָ֗ה [3/2] Revi'i
אֵ֣ין עֹֽשֵׂה־טֽוֹב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 2 3 To the choirmaster, [3]
of David; [2]
 
1 A fool says in his heart, [3]
“There is no God.” [2]
 
They behave corruptly, [3]
they do abominable deeds, [3/2]
there is none who does good. [1]
2 יְֽהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
מִשָּׁמַיִם֮ [3] Sinnor
הִשְׁקִ֢יף עַֽל־בְּנֵי־אָ֫דָ֥ם [2] Ole Veyored
 
לִ֭רְאוֹת [3] Dechi
הֲיֵ֣שׁ מַשְׂכִּ֑יל [2] Etnachta
 
דֹּ֝רֵ֗שׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶת־אֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

from heaven [3]
he looks down on the children of men; [2]
 
to see [3]
if there are any who understand, [2]
 
who seek after [2]
God. [1]
3 הַכֹּ֥ל סָר֮ [3] Sinnor
יַחְדָּ֢ו נֶ֫אֱלָ֥חוּ [2] Ole Veyored
 
אֵ֤ין עֹֽשֵׂה־ט֑וֹב [2] Etnachta
אֵ֝֗ין [2] Revi'i Mugrash
גַּם־אֶחָֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 3 They have all turned aside, [3]
they have together become corrupt; [2]
 
there is none who does good, [2]
not [2]
even one. [1]
4 הֲלֹ֥א יָדְעוּ֮ [3] Sinnor
כׇּל־פֹּ֢עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן [2] Ole Veyored
 
אֹכְלֵ֣י עַ֭מִּי [3] Dechi
אָ֣כְלוּ לֶ֑חֶם [2] Etnachta
 
יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א קָרָֽאוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 2 4 Do they know nothing? [3]
all those who do evil; [2]
 
who devour my people [3]
as they eat bread, [2]
 
the LORD [2]
they don’t call on. [1]
5 שָׁ֤ם ׀ [4/3] Mahpakh Legarmeh
פָּ֣חֲדוּ פָ֑חַד [2] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּד֣וֹר צַדִּֽיק׃ [1] Silluq

they are in great fear; [2]
 
for God [2]
is with a righteous generation. [1]
6 עֲצַת־עָנִ֥י תָבִ֑ישׁוּ [2] Etnachta
 
כִּ֖י יְהֹוָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
מַחְסֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 6 You would frustrate the plans of the poor; [2]
 
but the LORD [2]
is his refuge. [1]
7 מִ֥י יִתֵּ֣ן מִצִּיּוֹן֮ [3] Sinnor
יְשׁוּעַ֢ת יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל [2] Ole Veyored
 
בְּשׁ֣וּב יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
שְׁב֣וּת עַמּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
יָגֵ֥ל יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִשְׂמַ֥ח יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq

the salvation of Israel! [2]
 
When the LORD turns back [3]
the captivity of his people, [2]
 
Jacob will rejoice, [2]
Israel will be glad. [1]
