To the choirmaster, [3] on the doe of the dawn, [3/2] a Psalm of David. [1] |

1 O my God my God, [3] why have you forsaken me; [2] the words of my groaning? [1] |

2 O my God, [3] I call out by day [3] but you don’t answer; [2] and I am not silent. [1] |

3 But you are holy; [2] praised by Israel. [1] |

4 In you [3] our fathers trusted; [2] and you delivered them. [1] |

5 To you they cried out [3] and they were delivered; [2] and they were not disappointed. [1] |

6 But I am a worm [3] and not a man; [2] and despised by the people. [1] |

7 All who see me, [3] they mock me; [2] They shake (their) heads, [1] |

8 “He trusts in the LORD, [3] let him rescue him; [2] since he delights in him.” [1] |

11 Don’t be far from me, [3] for trouble is near; [2] |

12 They have surrounded me, [3] many bulls; [2] they have surrounded me. [1] |

13 They have opened against me [3] their mouths; [2] tearing and roaring. [1] |

| 15 כַּמַּ֥יִם נִשְׁפַּכְתִּי֮ [3] Sinnor וְהִתְפָּֽרְד֗וּ [3] Revi'i כׇּֽל־עַצְמ֫וֹתָ֥י [2] Ole Veyored כַּדּוֹנָ֑ג [2] Etnachta בְּת֣וֹךְ מֵעָֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
14 Like water I have been poured out, [3] and they are out of joint, [3] all my bones; [2] like wax, [2] within me. [1] |

15 It has dried up like pottery, [4] my strength, [3] sticks to the roof of my mouth; [2] |

16 For they have surrounded me, [3] dogs; [2] they have encircled me, [2] my hands and my feet. [1] |

17 I can count all my bones; [2] they stare at me. [1] |

18 They divide my garments [3] among themselves; [2] they cast lots. [1] |

| 20 וְאַתָּ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi אַל־תִּרְחָ֑ק [2] Etnachta לְעֶזְרָ֥תִי חֽוּשָׁה׃ [1] Silluq |
19 But you O LORD [3] do not be far off; [2] to my help make haste! [1] |

20 Deliver from the sword [3] my soul; [2] my only one. [1] |

21 Save me [3] from the mouth of a lion; [2] rescue me. [1] |

22 I will declare your name [3] to my brothers; [2] I will praise you. [1] |

23 Those who fear the LORD, [4] praise him! [3] honor him; [2] all descendants of Israel! [1] |

| 25 כִּ֤י לֹֽא־בָזָ֨ה וְלֹ֪א שִׁקַּ֡ץ [4] Pazer עֱנ֬וּת עָנִ֗י [3] Revi'i מִמֶּ֑נּוּ [2] Etnachta שָׁמֵֽעַ׃ [1] Silluq |
24 For he has not despised and he has not detested [4] the affliction of the afflicted, [3] from him; [2] he heard. [1] |

| 26 מֵ֥אִתְּךָ֗ [3] Revi'i תְּֽהִלָּ֫תִ֥י [2] Ole Veyored נְדָרַ֥י אֲ֝שַׁלֵּ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash נֶ֣גֶד יְרֵאָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq |
25 From you [3] is my praise; [2] I will pay my vows [2] before those who fear him. [1] |

| 27 יֹאכְל֬וּ עֲנָוִ֨ים ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh וְיִשְׂבָּ֗עוּ [3] Revi'i דֹּ֣רְשָׁ֑יו [2] Etnachta לָעַֽד׃ [1] Silluq |
26 The humble shall eat [4] and they shall be satisfied, [3] those who seek after him; [2] forever. [1] |

| 28 יִזְכְּר֤וּ ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh וְיָשֻׁ֣בוּ אֶל־יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi כׇּל־אַפְסֵי־אָ֑רֶץ [2] Etnachta כׇּֽל־מִשְׁפְּח֥וֹת גּוֹיִֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
27 They shall remember [4] and they shall turn to the LORD, [3] all the ends of the earth; [2] all the families of the nations. [1] |

28 For the LORD’s [3] is the kingdom; [2] over the nations. [1] |

| 30 אָכְל֬וּ וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֨וּ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh כׇּֽל־דִּשְׁנֵי־אֶ֗רֶץ [3] Revi'i כׇּל־יוֹרְדֵ֣י עָפָ֑ר [2] Etnachta לֹ֣א חִיָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
29 They have eaten and they have bowed down, [4] all the prosperous of the earth, [3] all who go down to the dust; [2] they cannot keep alive. [1] |

30 Descendants shall serve him; [2] to the coming generation. [1] |
