5 And_came the_king Dāvid to Bahurim and_see/lo/see from_there a _man [was]_coming _out of_family of _the _house of _Shāʼūl and_his/its_name [was]_Shimei the _son of _Gērāʼ [he _was]_coming _out coming _out and_cursing.
6 And_pelted in/on/at/with_stones DOM Dāvid and_DOM all the _servants the_king Dāvid and_all the_people and_all the_powerful/mighty(pl) on_right_his and_on_left_his.
7 And_this he _said Shimei in/on/at/with_cursed_he get _out get _out Oh _man the_bloodshed and_man the_worthless.
8 He _has _brought _back on_you Yahweh all the _blood(s) of _the _house of _Shāʼūl whom you _have _reigned in _place_him[fn] and_he/it _gave Yahweh DOM the_royalty in/on/at/with_hand of _Absalom son_your and_look_you in/on/at/with_disaster_you DOM [are]_a _man of _blood(s) you.
9 And_he/it _said Abishai the _son of _Zeruiah to the_king to/for_what will _he _curse the_dog the_dead the_this DOM my_master/master the_king let _me _pass _over please and_take _off DOM his/its_head.
10 and_he/it _said the_king what to/for_me and_with_you _all Oh _sons of _Zeruiah thus[fn] he _is _cursing and[fn] Yahweh he _has _said to_him/it curse DOM Dāvid and_who will _he _say why have _you _done thus.
11 and_he/it _said Dāvid to Abishai and_near/to all servants_his here son_my who he _went _out of_flesh _and _blood_my _own [is]_seeking DOM life_my and_more DOM now the _Ben- the_Benjamite leave _alone to_him/it and_curse DOM he _has _spoken to_him/it Yahweh.
12 Perhaps he _will _look Yahweh in/on/at/with_distress_my[fn] and_repay Yahweh to_me good in _place _of cursing_his the_day the_this.
