On Jehoahaz
10 Weep not for him that is dead,
And mourn not for him;
But weep rather for him that is gone,
For he cometh no more:
And the land of his birth he shall see
Nevermore.
11 For this is the word of Jehovah concerning Shallum, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, the successor of his father Josiah, who went forth from this place: "He shall never come back to it again; 12 but in the land of exile to which they have carried him he shall die, and this land he shall see no more."
