	¹וַיִּתְחַזֵּ֛ק [3] Tevir שְׁלֹמֹ֥ה בֶן־דָּוִ֖יד [2] Merkha Tip'cha עַל־מַלְכוּת֑וֹ [1] Etnachta וַיהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהָיו֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta עִמּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef וַֽיְגַדְּלֵ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha לְמָֽעְלָה׃ [1] Silluq		¹Solomon the son of David was firmly established in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him, and made him exceedingly great. [3]
	²וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה לְכׇל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל [4] Munach Munach Pazer לְשָׂרֵי֩ הָאֲלָפִ֨ים וְהַמֵּא֜וֹת [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh וְלַשֹּׁפְטִ֗ים [3] Revi'a וּלְכֹ֛ל [3] Tevir נָשִׂ֥יא לְכׇל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Merkha Tip'cha רָאשֵׁ֥י הָאָבֽוֹת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, to the judges, and to every prince in all Israel, the heads of the fathers’ households. [4]
	³וַיֵּלְכ֗וּ [3] Revi'a שְׁלֹמֹה֙ [3] Pashta וְכׇל־הַקָּהָ֣ל עִמּ֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef לַבָּמָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּגִבְע֑וֹן [1] Munach Etnachta כִּי־שָׁ֣ם הָיָ֗ה [3] Munach Revi'a אֹ֤הֶל מוֹעֵד֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֛ה [3] Merkha Tevir מֹשֶׁ֥ה עֶבֶד־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ [1] Silluq		³So Solomon, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for God’s Tent of Meeting was there, which the LORD’s servant Moses had made in the wilderness. [3]
	⁴אֲבָ֗ל [3] Revi'a אֲר֤וֹן הָאֱלֹהִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta הֶעֱלָ֤ה דָוִיד֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta מִקִּרְיַ֣ת יְעָרִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef בַּהֵכִ֥ין ל֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha דָּוִ֑יד [1] Etnachta כִּ֧י נָֽטָה־ל֛וֹ [3] Darga Tevir אֹ֖הֶל [2] Tip'cha בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ [1] Silluq		⁴But David had brought God’s ark up from Kiriath Jearim to the place that David had prepared for it; for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem. [3]
	⁵וּמִזְבַּ֣ח הַנְּחֹ֗שֶׁת [3] Munach Revi'a אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta בְּצַלְאֵל֙ [3] Pashta בֶּן־אוּרִ֣י בֶן־ח֔וּר [2] Munach Zaqef שָׁ֕ם [2] ZaqefG לִפְנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha מִשְׁכַּ֣ן יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta וַיִּדְרְשֵׁ֥הוּ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְהַקָּהָֽל׃ [1] Silluq		⁵Moreover the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was there before the LORD’s tabernacle; and Solomon and the assembly were seeking counsel there. [3]
	⁶וַיַּ֩עַל֩ שְׁלֹמֹ֨ה שָׁ֜ם [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh עַל־מִזְבַּ֤ח הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֖ר [2] Tip'cha לְאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד [1] Munach Etnachta וַיַּ֧עַל עָלָ֛יו [3] Darga Tevir עֹל֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha אָֽלֶף׃ [1] Silluq		⁶Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before the LORD, which was at the Tent of Meeting, and offered one thousand burnt offerings on it. ¶ [4]
	⁷בַּלַּ֣יְלָה הַה֔וּא [2] Munach Zaqef נִרְאָ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha לִשְׁלֹמֹ֑ה [1] Etnachta וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ל֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef שְׁאַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha מָ֥ה אֶתֶּן־לָֽךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁷That night, God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask for what you want me to give you.” ¶ [2]
	⁸וַיֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לֵאלֹהִ֔ים [2] Zaqef אַתָּ֗ה [3] Revi'a עָשִׂ֛יתָ [3] Tevir עִם־דָּוִ֥יד אָבִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha חֶ֣סֶד גָּד֑וֹל [1] Munach Etnachta וְהִמְלַכְתַּ֖נִי [2] Tip'cha תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ [1] Silluq		⁸Solomon said to God, “You have shown great loving kindness to David my father, and have made me king in his place. [3]
	⁹עַתָּה֙ [3] Pashta יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef יֵֽאָמֵן֙ [3] Pashta דְּבָ֣רְךָ֔ [2] Munach Zaqef עִ֖ם [2] Tip'cha דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta כִּ֤י אַתָּה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta הִמְלַכְתַּ֔נִי [2] Zaqef עַל־עַ֕ם [2] ZaqefG רַ֖ב [2] Tip'cha כַּעֲפַ֥ר הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁹Now, LORD God, let your promise to David my father be established; for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. [3]
	¹⁰עַתָּ֗ה [3] Revi'a חׇכְמָ֤ה וּמַדָּע֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta תֶּן־לִ֔י [2] Zaqef וְאֵ֥צְאָ֛ה [3] Merkha Tevir לִפְנֵ֥י הָעָם־הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְאָב֑וֹאָה [1] Etnachta כִּֽי־מִ֣י יִשְׁפֹּ֔ט [2] Munach Zaqef אֶת־עַמְּךָ֥ הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha הַגָּדֽוֹל׃ [1] Silluq ס		¹⁰Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of yours?” ¶ [3]
	¹¹וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֣ים ׀ לִשְׁלֹמֹ֡ה [4] Munach Munach Pazer יַ֣עַן אֲשֶׁר֩ הָיְתָ֨ה זֹ֜את [4] Munach TelishaQ Qadma Geresh עִם־לְבָבֶ֗ךָ [3] Revi'a וְלֹֽא־שָׁ֠אַ֠לְתָּ [4] TelishaG עֹ֣שֶׁר נְכָסִ֤ים וְכָבוֹד֙ [3] Munach Mapakh Pashta וְאֵת֙ [3] Pashta נֶ֣פֶשׁ שֹׂנְאֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef וְגַם־יָמִ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha לֹ֣א שָׁאָ֑לְתָּ [1] Munach Etnachta וַתִּֽשְׁאַל־לְךָ֙ [3] Pashta חׇכְמָ֣ה וּמַדָּ֔ע [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֤ר תִּשְׁפּוֹט֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶת־עַמִּ֔י [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר הִמְלַכְתִּ֖יךָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha עָלָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq		¹¹God said to Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches, wealth, honor, or the life of those who hate you, nor yet have you asked for long life; but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge my people, over whom I have made you king, [4]
	¹²הַחׇכְמָ֥ה וְהַמַּדָּ֖ע [2] Merkha Tip'cha נָת֣וּן לָ֑ךְ [1] Munach Etnachta וְעֹ֨שֶׁר וּנְכָסִ֤ים וְכָבוֹד֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta אֶתֶּן־לָ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh לֹא־הָ֣יָה כֵ֗ן [3] Munach Revi'a לַמְּלָכִים֙ [3] Pashta אֲשֶׁ֣ר לְפָנֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef וְאַחֲרֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha לֹ֥א יִֽהְיֶה־כֵּֽן׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹²therefore wisdom and knowledge is granted to you. I will give you riches, wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had who have been before you, and none after you will have.” ¶ [2]
	¹³וַיָּבֹ֨א שְׁלֹמֹ֜ה [4] Qadma Geresh לַבָּמָ֤ה אֲשֶׁר־בְּגִבְעוֹן֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta יְר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם [2] Munach Zaqef מִלִּפְנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד [1] Munach Etnachta וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq פ		¹³So Solomon came from the high place that was at Gibeon, from before the Tent of Meeting, to Jerusalem; and he reigned over Israel. ¶ [4]
	¹⁴וַיֶּֽאֱסֹ֣ף שְׁלֹמֹה֮ [3] Munach Zarqa רֶ֣כֶב וּפָרָשִׁים֒ [2] Munach Segol וַֽיְהִי־ל֗וֹ [3] Revi'a אֶ֤לֶף וְאַרְבַּע־מֵאוֹת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta רֶ֔כֶב [2] Zaqef וּשְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֥ר אֶ֖לֶף [2] Merkha Tip'cha פָּרָשִׁ֑ים [1] Etnachta וַיַּנִּיחֵם֙ [3] Pashta בְּעָרֵ֣י הָרֶ֔כֶב [2] Munach Zaqef וְעִם־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁴Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen. He had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen that he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem. [3]
	¹⁵וַיִּתֵּ֨ן הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ [4] Qadma Geresh אֶת־הַכֶּ֧סֶף וְאֶת־הַזָּהָ֛ב [3] Darga Tevir בִּירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם [2] Tip'cha כָּאֲבָנִ֑ים [1] Etnachta וְאֵ֣ת הָאֲרָזִ֗ים [3] Munach Revi'a נָתַ֛ן [3] Tevir כַּשִּׁקְמִ֥ים אֲשֶׁר־בַּשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha לָרֹֽב׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁵The king made silver and gold to be as common as stones in Jerusalem, and he made cedars to be as common as the sycamore trees that are in the lowland. [4]
	¹⁶וּמוֹצָ֧א הַסּוּסִ֛ים [3] Darga Tevir אֲשֶׁ֥ר לִשְׁלֹמֹ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta וּמִקְוֵ֕א [2] ZaqefG סֹחֲרֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Munach Zaqef מִקְוֵ֥א יִקְח֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha בִּמְחִֽיר׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁶The horses which Solomon had were brought out of Egypt and from Kue. The king’s merchants purchased them from Kue. [3]
	¹⁷וַֽ֠יַּעֲל֠וּ [4] TelishaG וַיּוֹצִ֨יאוּ מִמִּצְרַ֤יִם מֶרְכָּבָה֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta בְּשֵׁ֣שׁ מֵא֣וֹת כֶּ֔סֶף [2] Munach Munach Zaqef וְס֖וּס [2] Tip'cha בַּֽחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וּמֵאָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta וְ֠כֵ֠ן [4] TelishaG לְכׇל־מַלְכֵ֧י הַחִתִּ֛ים [3] Darga Tevir וּמַלְכֵ֥י אֲרָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha בְּיָדָ֥ם יוֹצִֽיאוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁷They brought up and brought out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred pieces of silver, and a horse for one hundred fifty. They also exported them to the Hittite kings and the Syrian kings. ¶ [4]
	¹⁸וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה [3] Munach Revi'a לִבְנ֥וֹת בַּ֙יִת֙ [3] Merkha Pashta לְשֵׁ֣ם יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וּבַ֖יִת [2] Tip'cha לְמַלְכוּתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		¹Now Solomon decided to build a house for the LORD’s name, and a house for his kingdom. [3]
