בְּעִ֣יר אֶחָ֔ת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֶחָ֥ד עָשִׁ֖יר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְאֶחָ֥ד רָֽאשׁ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 3 3 3 2 1 The LORD sent Nathan to David. He came to him, and said to him, “There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. [3]

הַרְבֵּ֥ה מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
2 3 3 2 The rich man had very many flocks and herds, [3]

כִּי֩ אִם־כִּבְשָׂ֨ה אַחַ֤ת קְטַנָּה֙ [3] TelishaQ Qadma Mapakh Pashta

מִפִּתּ֨וֹ תֹאכַ֜ל [4] Qadma Geresh
וּמִכֹּס֤וֹ תִשְׁתֶּה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וּבְחֵיק֣וֹ תִשְׁכָּ֔ב [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַתְּהִי־ל֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
כְּבַֽת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 3 2 3 4 2 3 but the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and raised. It grew up together with him, and with his children. It ate of his own food, drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was like a daughter to him. [3]

וַֽיַּעֲשֶׂ֔הָ [2] Zaqef

הַבָּ֥א אֵלָֽיו׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

1 2 3 2 3 2 2 2 5 David’s anger burned hot against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As the LORD lives, the man who has done this deserves to die! [3]
6 וְאֶת־הַכִּבְשָׂ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
יְשַׁלֵּ֣ם אַרְבַּעְתָּ֑יִם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
עֵ֗קֶב [3] Revi'a
אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְעַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־חָמָֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

1 2 2 3 3 4 15 Nathan departed to his house. ¶The LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it was very sick. [2]

David’s servants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, “Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spoke to him, and he didn’t listen to our voice. וַתֹּ֥אכַל לָֽחֶם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

1 2 2 2 26 Now Joab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and took the royal city. [2]

אֶת־עִ֥יר הַמָּֽיִם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

אֱסֹף֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־יֶ֣תֶר הָעָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַחֲנֵ֥ה עַל־הָעִ֖יר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלׇכְדָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
פֶּן־אֶלְכֹּ֤ד אֲנִי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֶת־הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef
 
וְנִקְרָ֥א שְׁמִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עָלֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq

וַיִּלָּ֥חֶם בָּ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וַֽיִּלְכְּדָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 29 David gathered all the people together, and went to Rabbah, and fought against it, and took it. [3]
30 וַיִּקַּ֣ח אֶת־עֲטֶֽרֶת־מַלְכָּם֩ מֵעַ֨ל רֹאשׁ֜וֹ [4] Munach TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
וּמִשְׁקָלָ֨הּ כִּכַּ֤ר זָהָב֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
וְאֶ֣בֶן יְקָרָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef

עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ דָּוִ֑ד [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וּשְׁלַ֥ל הָעִ֛יר [3] Merkha Tevir
הוֹצִ֖יא [2] Tip'cha
הַרְבֵּ֥ה מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

וְכֵ֣ן יַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
לְכֹ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
עָרֵ֣י בְנֵֽי־עַמּ֑וֹן [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיָּ֧שׇׁב דָּוִ֛ד [3] Darga Tevir
וְכׇל־הָעָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
יְרֽוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ [1] Silluq
