1 מִקֵּ֥ץ שֶֽׁבַע־שָׁנִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה שְׁמִטָּֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
2 1 At the end of every seven years, you shall cancel debts. [2]
2 וְזֶה֮ [3] Zarqa
דְּבַ֣ר הַשְּׁמִטָּה֒ [2] Munach Segol
 
שָׁמ֗וֹט [3] Revi'a
כׇּל־בַּ֙עַל֙ [3] Pashta
מַשֵּׁ֣ה יָד֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר יַשֶּׁ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּרֵעֵ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta
 
לֹֽא־יִגֹּ֤שׂ אֶת־רֵעֵ֙הוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְאֶת־אָחִ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
כִּֽי־קָרָ֥א שְׁמִטָּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לַיהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 3 2 2 3 2 2 This is the way it shall be done: every creditor shall release that which he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not require payment from his neighbor and his brother, because the LORD’s release has been proclaimed. [3]

1 2 2 3 3 Of a foreigner you may require it; but whatever of yours is with your brother, your hand shall release. [2]

נֹֽתֵן־לְךָ֥ נַחֲלָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 3 2 2 3 2 4 However there will be no poor with you (for the LORD will surely bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess) [2]

לִשְׁמֹ֤ר לַעֲשׂוֹת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֶת־כׇּל־הַמִּצְוָ֣ה הַזֹּ֔את [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֛ר [3] Tevir
אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הַיּֽוֹם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 3 5 if only you diligently listen to the LORD your God’s voice, to observe to do all this commandment which I command you today. [3]

בְּגוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּבְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א יִמְשֹֽׁלוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

לֹ֧א תְאַמֵּ֣ץ אֶת־לְבָבְךָ֗ [3] Darga Munach Revi'a
וְלֹ֤א תִקְפֹּץ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֶת־יָ֣דְךָ֔ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מֵאָחִ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
הָאֶבְיֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 2 2 3 3 2 7 If a poor man, one of your brothers, is with you within any of your gates in your land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother; [4]
8 כִּֽי־פָתֹ֧חַ תִּפְתַּ֛ח [3] Darga Tevir

וְהַעֲבֵט֙ [3] Pashta

מַחְסֹר֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֶחְסַ֖ר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 3 2 8 but you shall surely open your hand to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need, which he lacks. [3]

אֶל־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְהָיָ֥ה בְךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
חֵֽטְא׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 3 2 3 3 2 2 3 2 9 Beware that there not be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, “The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,” and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing; and he cry to the LORD against you, and it be sin to you. [4]

יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בְּכׇֽל־מַעֲשֶׂ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef
וּבְכֹ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
מִשְׁלַ֥ח יָדֶֽךָ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 4 4 3 2 2 10 You shall surely give, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because it is for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you put your hand to. [3]

תִּפְתַּ֨ח אֶת־יָדְךָ֜ [4] Qadma Geresh
לְאָחִ֧יךָ לַעֲנִיֶּ֛ךָ [3] Darga Tevir
וּלְאֶבְיֹנְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
 
בְּאַרְצֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq

הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔ת [2] Zaqef
 
תְּשַׁלְּחֶ֥נּוּ חׇפְשִׁ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מֵעִמָּֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 2 2 3 2 12 If your brother, a Hebrew man, or a Hebrew woman, is sold to you and serves you six years, then in the seventh year you shall let him go free from you. [4]

1 2 2 13 When you let him go free from you, you shall not let him go empty. [2]

יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
תִּתֶּן־לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 3 14 You shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, out of your threshing floor, and out of your wine press. As the LORD your God has blessed you, you shall give to him. [3]

כִּ֣י עֶ֤בֶד הָיִ֙יתָ֙ [3] Munach Mapakh Pashta
בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַֽיִּפְדְּךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
עַל־כֵּ֞ן [4] Gershayim
אָנֹכִ֧י מְצַוְּךָ֛ [3] Darga Tevir
אֶת־הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha

וְנָתַתָּ֤ה בְאׇזְנוֹ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וּבַדֶּ֔לֶת [2] Zaqef
 
וְהָיָ֥ה לְךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עֶ֣בֶד עוֹלָ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְאַ֥ף לַאֲמָתְךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
תַּעֲשֶׂה־כֵּֽן׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 17 then you shall take an awl, and thrust it through his ear to the door, and he shall be your servant forever. Also to your female servant you shall do likewise. [3]

בְּשַׁלֵּֽחֲךָ֨ אֹת֤וֹ חׇפְשִׁי֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta

שְׂכַ֣ר שָׂכִ֔יר [2] Munach Zaqef

וְלֹ֥א תָגֹ֖ז [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּכ֥וֹר צֹאנֶֽךָ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 2 3 2 19 You shall dedicate all the firstborn males that are born of your herd and of your flock to the LORD your God. You shall do no work with the firstborn of your herd, nor shear the firstborn of your flock. [4]
20 לִפְנֵי֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֤יךָ תֹאכְלֶ֙נּוּ֙ [3] TelishaQ Qadma Mapakh Pashta
שָׁנָ֣ה בְשָׁנָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בַּמָּק֖וֹם [2] Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
אַתָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וּבֵיתֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 20 You shall eat it before the LORD your God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, you and your household. [3]

לֹ֣א תִזְבָּחֶ֔נּוּ [2] Munach Zaqef
לַיהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 2 2 2 21 If it has any defect—is lame or blind, or has any defect whatever, you shall not sacrifice it to the LORD your God. [4]
22 בִּשְׁעָרֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
תֹּאכְלֶ֑נּוּ [1] Etnachta
 
הַטָּמֵ֤א וְהַטָּהוֹר֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
יַחְדָּ֔ו [2] Zaqef
 
כַּצְּבִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
וְכָאַיָּֽל׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 22 You shall eat it within your gates. The unclean and the clean shall eat it alike, as the gazelle and as the deer. [2]
23 רַ֥ק אֶת־דָּמ֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֑ל [1] Munach Etnachta
 
עַל־הָאָ֥רֶץ תִּשְׁפְּכֶ֖נּוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כַּמָּֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 23 Only you shall not eat its blood. You shall pour it out on the ground like water. ¶ [2]
