וַנִּסַּ֤ע הַמִּדְבָּ֙רָה֙ [3 3] Pashta
דֶּ֣רֶךְ יַם־ס֔וּף [2] Zaqef
 
כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר [3] Tevir
דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
אֵלָ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
וַנָּ֥סׇב אֶת־הַר־שֵׂעִ֖יר [2] Tip'cha
יָמִ֥ים רַבִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq

by way of the Sea of reeds, [2]
 
just as [3]
the LORD had spoken [2]
to me; [1]
 
and we went around the hill country of Seir [2]

2 2 And the LORD spoke [2]
to me saying, [1]

אֶת־הָהָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
פְּנ֥וּ לָכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
צָפֹֽנָה׃ [1] Silluq

Turn yourselves [2]
northward. [1]

אַתֶּ֣ם עֹֽבְרִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
בִּגְבוּל֙ [3] Pashta
אֲחֵיכֶ֣ם בְּנֵי־עֵשָׂ֔ו [2] Zaqef
 
הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בְּשֵׂעִ֑יר [1] Etnachta
 
וְיִֽירְא֣וּ מִכֶּ֔ם [2] Zaqef
וְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq

‘You are about to pass [3]
through the territory [3]
of your relatives the children of Esau, [2]
 
who dwell [2]

and they will be afraid of you, [2]
so you need to be careful [2]

כִּֽי־יְרֻשָּׁ֣ה לְעֵשָׂ֔ו [2] Zaqef

because as a possession to Esau [2]

תִּכְר֧וּ מֵאִתָּ֛ם [3] Tevir

וּשְׁתִיתֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

Moab, [2]
 
and don't contend with them [2]
in battle; [1]

I will not give to you any of his land [3]

because to the children of Lot [2]
I have given Ar [2]
as a possession.” [1]

וְהַמֹּ֣אָבִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
יִקְרְא֥וּ לָהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
אֵמִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 11 These also are considered to be Rephaim, as the Anakim; but the Moabites call them Emim. [3]

וּבְנֵ֧י עֵשָׂ֣ו יִֽירָשׁ֗וּם [3] Revi'i

מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
תַּחְתָּ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
כַּאֲשֶׁ֧ר עָשָׂ֣ה יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל [3] Revi'i

שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים וּשְׁמֹנֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha

עַד־תֹּ֨ם כׇּל־הַדּ֜וֹר [4] Geresh

1 2 3 2 2 15 Moreover the LORD’s hand was against them, to destroy them from the middle of the camp, until they were consumed. [3]

כׇּל־אַנְשֵׁ֧י הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה [3] Tevir

2 3 4 16 So, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people, [4]
17 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha

2 17 the LORD spoke to me, saying, [2]
18 אַתָּ֨ה עֹבֵ֥ר הַיּ֛וֹם [3] Tevir
אֶת־גְּב֥וּל מוֹאָ֖ב [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־עָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 18 “You are to pass over Ar, the border of Moab, today. [3]
19 וְקָרַבְתָּ֗ [3] Revi'i
מ֚וּל [3] Yetiv
בְּנֵ֣י עַמּ֔וֹן [2] Zaqef
 
אַל־תְּצֻרֵ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
וְאַל־תִּתְגָּ֣ר בָּ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י לֹֽא־אֶ֠תֵּ֠ן [4 4] TelishaG
מֵאֶ֨רֶץ בְּנֵי־עַמּ֤וֹן לְךָ֙ [3] Pashta

כִּ֥י לִבְנֵי־ל֖וֹט [2] Tip'cha
נְתַתִּ֥יהָ יְרֻשָּֽׁה׃ [1] Silluq

וַיַּשְׁמִידֵ֤ם יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta

וַיִּירָשֻׁ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
וַיֵּשְׁב֥וּ תַחְתָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq

וְהִתְגָּ֥ר בּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
מִלְחָמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 3 4 2 24 “Rise up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon. Behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. [3]

1 2 3 3 3 2 3 2 2 3 2 25 Today I will begin to put the dread of you and the fear of you on the peoples who are under the whole sky, who shall hear the report of you, and shall tremble and be in anguish because of you.” ¶ [3]

1 2 3 2 2 26 I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying, [3]

1 2 2 2 27 “Let me pass through your land. I will go along by the highway. I will turn neither to the right hand nor to the left. [2]

בַּכֶּ֥סֶף תִּתֶּן־לִ֖י [2] Tip'cha

ה֧וּא וְכׇל־עַמּ֛וֹ [3] Tevir
לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
