שמות 7 | Exodus 7 | |||
1 So the LORD said [3] to Moses, [2] I have set you as God [2] to Pharaoh; [1] he shall be your prophet. [1] |
2 You, you shall speak [2] -- [2] all that I command you; [1] he shall speak to Pharaoh, [2] from his land. [1] |
3 Yet I, I will harden [2] the heart of Pharaoh; [1] and my wonders [2] in the land of Egypt. [1] |
4 But he will not listen to you, [3] Pharaoh, [2] upon Egypt; [1] my people the children of Israel, [3] from the land of Egypt, [2] great. [1] |
5 And the Egyptians shall know [3 3] that I am the LORD, [2] against Egypt; [1] from among them.” [1] |
[1] Silluq |
6 So Moses did, [2] and Aaron; [1] them, [2] so they did. [1] |
7 And Moses [3] was a son of eighty years, [2] a son of three and eighty [2] years; [1] to Pharaoh. [1] ¶ |
[1] Silluq |
8 And the LORD spoke [2] to Moses and to Aaron [2] saying, [1] |
9 “When Pharaoh speaks to you [3] saying, [2] a miracle;’ [1] ‘Take your staff [3] and throw it down before Pharaoh. [2] It will become a serpent.’ ” [1] |
[2] Tip'cha |
10 So Moses and Aaron went [3] to Pharaoh, [2] just as [2] the LORD had commanded; [1] his staff [3] and before his servants, [2] |
11 Then he called, [3] Pharaoh, also [2] and the sorcerers; [1] the magicians of Egypt [3] by their secret arts, [2] the same. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
12 For they threw down [3 3] each one his staff, [2] serpents; [1] their staffs. [1] |
13 Yet it was hardened, [3] the heart of Pharaoh, [2] to them; [1] the LORD had said. [1] § |
[1] Silluq |
14 Then the LORD said [3] to Moses, [2] is the heart of Pharaoh; [1] to let the people go. [1] |
15 Go to Pharaoh [4] in the morning, [3] he goes out to the water, [2] on the bank of the river; [1] which was turned into a serpent, [2] you shall take in your hand. [1] |
16 And you shall say to him, [3] the God of the Hebrews, [3] saying, [2] my people, [2] in the wilderness; [1] up to now.” [1] |
[2] Tip'cha |
17 Thus [3] says the LORD, [2] that [2] I am the LORD; [1] will strike [4] with the staff which is in my hand [3] which are in the river, [2] |
18 And the fish which are in the river, [3] they will die, [2] and the river will stink; [1] to drink water [2] from the river.” ’ ” [1] § |
19 And the LORD said [4] to Moses, [3] ‘Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, [4] over their rivers, [4] over their streams and over their pools, [3] all their ponds of water, [2] throughout all the land of Egypt, [2] and in containers of stone.’ ” [1] |
20 So Moses and Aaron did so, [4] just as [4] the LORD had commanded, [3] and he struck the waters [3 3] which were in the river, [2] and in the sight [2] of his servants; [1] all the waters which were in the river, [2] to blood. [1] |
21 When the fish that were in the river died [3 3] the river stank, [2] to drink water [2] from the river; [1] was throughout all the land of Egypt. [1] |
22 But they did the same, [3] the magicians of Egypt [2] by their secret arts; [1] and he did not listen to them, [2] the LORD had said. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
23 And Pharaoh turned [2] and he went [2] into his house; [1] even this. [1] |
24 So all the Egyptians dug [3] around the river [2] for water to drink; [1] to drink [2] of the river. [1] |
25 And were completed [2] seven days; [1] the river. [1] ¶ |

1 Then the LORD said [3] to Moses, [2] to Pharaoh; [1] ‘Thus [3] says the LORD, [2] that they may serve me. [1] |
2 But if you refuse [2] to let them go; [1] will strike [3] your whole land [2] with frogs. [1] |

3 And the river will swarm with [3] frogs, [2] and they will come into your house, [2] and onto your bed; [1] and on your people, [2] and into your kneading bowls. [1] |

[1] Silluq |
4 And on you and on your people [2] and on all your servants; [1] the frogs.” ’ ” [1] |
