1 Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying, [2] |

| 2 וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef הֲתִשְׁפֹּ֥ט הֲתִשְׁפֹּ֖ט [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶת־עִ֣יר הַדָּמִ֑ים [1] Munach Etnachta אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha כׇּל־תּוֹעֲבוֹתֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq |
2 “You, son of man, will you judge? Will you judge the bloody city? Then cause her to know all her abominations. [2] |

| 3 וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ [3] Revi'a כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef בְּתוֹכָ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha לָב֣וֹא עִתָּ֑הּ [1] Munach Etnachta עָלֶ֖יהָ [2] Tip'cha לְטׇמְאָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
3 You shall say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “A city that sheds blood within herself, that her time may come, and that makes idols against herself to defile her! [3] |

| 4 בְּדָמֵ֨ךְ אֲשֶׁר־שָׁפַ֜כְתְּ [4] Qadma Geresh אָשַׁ֗מְתְּ [3] Revi'a טָמֵ֔את [2] Zaqef וַתָּב֖וֹא [2] Tip'cha עַד־שְׁנוֹתָ֑יִךְ [1] Etnachta נְתַתִּ֤יךְ חֶרְפָּה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לַגּוֹיִ֔ם [2] Zaqef לְכׇל־הָאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq |
4 You have become guilty in your blood that you have shed, and are defiled in your idols which you have made! You have caused your days to draw near, and have come even to your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all the countries. [4] |

5 Those who are near, and those who are far from you, will mock you, you infamous one, full of tumult. ¶ [3] |

6 “ ‘ “Behold, the princes of Israel, everyone according to his power, have been in you to shed blood. [3] |

7 In you have they treated father and mother with contempt. Among you they have oppressed the foreigner. In you they have wronged the fatherless and the widow. [3] |

8 You have despised my holy things, and have profaned my Sabbaths. [2] |

| 9 אַנְשֵׁ֥י רָכִ֛יל [3] Merkha Tevir הָ֥יוּ בָ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְמַ֣עַן שְׁפׇךְ־דָּ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta אָ֣כְלוּ בָ֔ךְ [2] Munach Zaqef עָשׂ֥וּ בְתוֹכֵֽךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
9 Slanderous men have been in you to shed blood. In you they have eaten on the mountains. They have committed lewdness among you. [3] |

10 In you have they uncovered their fathers’ nakedness. In you have they humbled her who was unclean in her impurity. [2] |

| 11 וְאִ֣ישׁ ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh אֶת־אֵ֣שֶׁת רֵעֵ֗הוּ [3] Munach Revi'a תּוֹעֵבָ֔ה [2] Zaqef טִמֵּ֣א בְזִמָּ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta אֶת־אֲחֹת֥וֹ בַת־אָבִ֖יו [2] Merkha Tip'cha עִנָּה־בָֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq |
11 One has committed abomination with his neighbor’s wife; and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law. Another in you has humbled his sister, his father’s daughter. [4] |

| 12 שֹׁ֥חַד לָֽקְחוּ־בָ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְמַ֣עַן שְׁפׇךְ־דָּ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta וַתְּבַצְּעִ֤י רֵעַ֙יִךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta בַּעֹ֔שֶׁק [2] Zaqef נְאֻ֖ם [2] Tip'cha אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
12 In you have they taken bribes to shed blood. You have taken interest and increase, and you have greedily gained of your neighbors by oppression, and have forgotten me,” says the Lord GOD. ¶ [2] |

13 “ ‘ “Behold, therefore I have struck my hand at your dishonest gain which you have made, and at your blood which has been within you. [3] |

| 14 הֲיַעֲמֹ֤ד לִבֵּךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אִם־תֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָה יָדַ֔יִךְ [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֲנִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha עֹשֶׂ֣ה אוֹתָ֑ךְ [1] Munach Etnachta דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי וְעָשִֽׂיתִי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
14 Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong, in the days that I will deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken it, and will do it. [3] |

15 I will scatter you among the nations, and disperse you through the countries. I will consume your filthiness out of you. [3] |

| 16 וְנִחַ֥לְתְּ בָּ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְעֵינֵ֣י גוֹיִ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta כִּי־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq פ |
16 You will be profaned in yourself, in the sight of the nations. Then you will know that I am the LORD.” ’ ” ¶ [2] |

17 The LORD’s word came to me, saying, [2] |

| 18 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם [2] ZaqefG הָיוּ־לִ֥י בֵֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Merkha Tip'cha *לסוג **לְסִ֑יג [1] Etnachta נְ֠חֹ֠שֶׁת [4] TelishaG וּבְדִ֨יל וּבַרְזֶ֤ל וְעוֹפֶ֙רֶת֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta בְּת֣וֹךְ כּ֔וּר [2] Munach Zaqef הָיֽוּ׃ [1] Silluq ס |
18 “Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me. All of them are bronze, tin, iron, and lead in the middle of the furnace. They are the dross of silver. [2] |

| 19 לָכֵ֗ן [3] Revi'a כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef הֱי֥וֹת כֻּלְּכֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְסִגִ֑ים [1] Etnachta הִנְנִ֣י קֹבֵ֣ץ אֶתְכֶ֔ם [2] Munach Munach Zaqef יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ [1] Silluq |
19 Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the middle of Jerusalem. [3] |

| 20 קְבֻ֣צַת כֶּ֡סֶף [4] Munach Pazer וּ֠נְחֹ֠שֶׁת [4] TelishaG וּבַרְזֶ֨ל וְעוֹפֶ֤רֶת וּבְדִיל֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta אֶל־תּ֣וֹךְ כּ֔וּר [2] Munach Zaqef לְהַנְתִּ֑יךְ [1] Etnachta בְּאַפִּ֣י וּבַחֲמָתִ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef אֶתְכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
20 As they gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the middle of the furnace, to blow the fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in my anger and in my wrath, and I will lay you there, and melt you. [4] |

| 21 וְכִנַּסְתִּ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef וְנָפַחְתִּ֥י עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha בְּאֵ֣שׁ עֶבְרָתִ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta בְּתוֹכָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
21 Yes, I will gather you, and blow on you with the fire of my wrath, and you will be melted in the middle of it. [2] |

| 22 כְּהִתּ֥וּךְ כֶּ֙סֶף֙ [3] Merkha Pashta בְּת֣וֹךְ כּ֔וּר [2] Munach Zaqef תֻּתְּכ֣וּ בְתוֹכָ֑הּ [1] Munach Etnachta כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq פ |
22 As silver is melted in the middle of the furnace, so you will be melted in the middle of it; and you will know that I, the LORD, have poured out my wrath on you.’ ” ¶ [3] |

24 “Son of man, tell her, ‘You are a land that is not cleansed, nor rained on in the day of indignation.’ [2] |

| 25 קֶ֤שֶׁר נְבִיאֶ֙יהָ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef טֹ֣רֵֽף טָ֑רֶף [1] Munach Etnachta חֹ֤סֶן וִיקָר֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta יִקָּ֔חוּ [2] Zaqef הִרְבּ֥וּ בְתוֹכָֽהּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets within it, like a roaring lion ravening the prey. They have devoured souls. They take treasure and precious things. They have made many widows within it. [3] |

| 26 כֹּהֲנֶ֜יהָ [4] Geresh חָמְס֣וּ תוֹרָתִי֮ [3] Munach Zarqa וַיְחַלְּל֣וּ קׇדָשַׁי֒ [2] Munach Segol לֹ֣א הִבְדִּ֔ילוּ [2] Munach Zaqef לֹ֣א הוֹדִ֑יעוּ [1] Munach Etnachta הֶעְלִ֣ימוּ עֵינֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef בְּתוֹכָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
26 Her priests have done violence to my law, and have profaned my holy things. They have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from my Sabbaths. So I am profaned among them. [4] |

27 Her princes within it are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain. [2] |

28 Her prophets have plastered for them with whitewash, seeing false visions, and divining lies to them, saying, ‘The Lord GOD says,’ when the LORD has not spoken. [3] |

29 The people of the land have used oppression and exercised robbery. Yes, they have troubled the poor and needy, and have oppressed the foreigner wrongfully. ¶ [3] |

| 30 וָאֲבַקֵּ֣שׁ מֵהֶ֡ם [4] Munach Pazer אִ֣ישׁ גֹּֽדֵר־גָּדֵר֩ וְעֹמֵ֨ד בַּפֶּ֧רֶץ לְפָנַ֛י [3] Munach TelishaQ Qadma Darga Tevir בְּעַ֥ד הָאָ֖רֶץ [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְבִלְתִּ֣י שַׁחֲתָ֑הּ [1] Munach Etnachta מָצָֽאתִי׃ [1] Silluq |
30 “I sought for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I would not destroy it; but I found no one. [4] |

31 Therefore I have poured out my indignation on them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. I have brought their own way on their heads,” says the Lord GOD. ¶ [3] |
