1 וְאַבְרָהָ֣ם זָקֵ֔ן [2] Zaqef בָּ֖א [2] Tip'cha בַּיָּמִ֑ים [1] Etnachta בֵּרַ֥ךְ אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha בַּכֹּֽל׃ [1] Silluq |
1 Now Abraham, he was old, [2] he was well advanced [2] in days; [1] he had blessed Abraham, [2] in all things. [1] |

2 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אַבְרָהָ֗ם [3] Revi'i אֶל־עַבְדּוֹ֙ [3] Pashta זְקַ֣ן בֵּית֔וֹ [2] Zaqef בְּכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־ל֑וֹ [1] Etnachta תַּ֥חַת יְרֵכִֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
2 And Abraham said, [3] to his servant, [3] the elder of his house, [2] over all that he had; [1] under my thigh, [1] |

3 וְאַשְׁבִּ֣יעֲךָ֔ [2] Zaqef אֱלֹהֵ֣י הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef הָאָ֑רֶץ [1] Etnachta לִבְנִ֔י [2] Zaqef הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י [2] Zaqef יוֹשֵׁ֥ב בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
3 so that I may make you swear, [2] the God of the heavens, [2] of the earth; [1] for my son, [2] of the Canaanites, [2] am dwelling among. [1] |

4 כִּ֧י אֶל־אַרְצִ֛י [3] Tevir וְאֶל־מוֹלַדְתִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha תֵּלֵ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta לִבְנִ֥י לְיִצְחָֽק׃ [1] Silluq |
4 But to my country [3] and to my relatives [2] you will go; [1] for my son Isaac.” [1] |

5 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ [3] Pashta הָעֶ֔בֶד [2] Zaqef לֹא־תֹאבֶ֣ה הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֶל־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את [1] Etnachta אֶת־בִּנְךָ֔ [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁר־יָצָ֥אתָ מִשָּֽׁם׃ [1] Silluq |
5 And he said to him, [3] the servant, [2] the woman isn’t willing [2] to this land? [1] your son [2] where you came from?” [1] |

6 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֵלָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha אַבְרָהָ֑ם [1] Etnachta פֶּן־תָּשִׁ֥יב אֶת־בְּנִ֖י [2] Tip'cha שָֽׁמָּה׃ [1] Silluq |
6 And he said to him, [2] Abraham; [1] that you don’t take my son back [2] to there. [1] |

7 יְהֹוָ֣ה ׀ [4] Legarmeh אֱלֹהֵ֣י הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם [3] Revi'i מִבֵּ֣ית אָבִי֮ [3] Zarqa וּמֵאֶ֣רֶץ מֽוֹלַדְתִּי֒ [2] Segol וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר נִֽשְׁבַּֽע־לִי֙ [3] Pashta לֵאמֹ֔ר [2] Zaqef אֶתֵּ֖ן [2] Tip'cha אֶת־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את [1] Etnachta יִשְׁלַ֤ח מַלְאָכוֹ֙ [3] Pashta לְפָנֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef לִבְנִ֖י [2] Tip'cha מִשָּֽׁם׃ [1] Silluq |
7 The LORD [4] the God of the heavens, [3] from the household of my father [3] and from the land of my relatives, [2] and who swore to me [3] saying, [2] I will give [2] this land; [1] he will send his angel [3] before you, [2] for my son [2] from there. [1] |

8 וְאִם־לֹ֨א תֹאבֶ֤ה הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ [3] Pashta לָלֶ֣כֶת אַחֲרֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef מִשְּׁבֻעָתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha זֹ֑את [1] Etnachta לֹ֥א תָשֵׁ֖ב [2] Tip'cha שָֽׁמָּה׃ [1] Silluq |
8 And if the woman isn’t willing [3] to follow you, [2] from my oath, [2] this. [1] you must not take back [2] to there.” [1] |

9 וַיָּ֤שֶׂם הָעֶ֙בֶד֙ [3 3] Pashta אֶת־יָד֔וֹ [2] Zaqef יֶ֥רֶךְ אַבְרָהָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha אֲדֹנָ֑יו [1] Etnachta עַל־הַדָּבָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha הַזֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
9 And the servant put [3 3] his hand [2] the thigh of Abraham [2] his master; [1] concerning the matter [2] this. [1] |

10 וַיִּקַּ֣ח הָ֠עֶ֠בֶד [4 4] TelishaG עֲשָׂרָ֨ה גְמַלִּ֜ים [4] Geresh מִגְּמַלֵּ֤י אֲדֹנָיו֙ [3] Pashta וַיֵּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef בְּיָד֑וֹ [1] Etnachta וַיֵּ֛לֶךְ [3] Tevir אֶל־אֲרַ֥ם נַֽהֲרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha אֶל־עִ֥יר נָחֽוֹר׃ [1] Silluq |
10 And the servant took [4 4] ten camels [4] from the camels of his master, [3] and he departed, [2] in his hand; [1] and he went [3] to Mesopotamia, [2] to the city of Nahor. [1] |

11 וַיַּבְרֵ֧ךְ הַגְּמַלִּ֛ים [3] Tevir מִח֥וּץ לָעִ֖יר [2] Tip'cha אֶל־בְּאֵ֣ר הַמָּ֑יִם [1] Etnachta לְעֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha צֵ֥את הַשֹּׁאֲבֹֽת׃ [1] Silluq |
11 And he made the camels kneel down [3] outside the city, [2] by the well of water; [1] the time [2] that women go out to draw water. [1] |

12 וַיֹּאמַ֓ר ׀ [2] Shalshelet אֱלֹהֵי֙ [3] Pashta אֲדֹנִ֣י אַבְרָהָ֔ם [2] Zaqef הַיּ֑וֹם [1] Etnachta עִ֖ם [2] Tip'cha אֲדֹנִ֥י אַבְרָהָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
12 And he said, [2] God [3] of my master Abraham, [2] today; [1] to [2] my master Abraham. [1] |

13 הִנֵּ֛ה [3] Tevir אָנֹכִ֥י נִצָּ֖ב [2] Tip'cha עַל־עֵ֣ין הַמָּ֑יִם [1] Etnachta אַנְשֵׁ֣י הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef לִשְׁאֹ֥ב מָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq |
13 Behold [3] I am standing [2] at the spring of water; [1] of the people of the city [2] to draw water. [1] |

14 וְהָיָ֣ה הַֽנַּעֲרָ֗ [3] Revi'i אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֹמַ֤ר אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙ [3 3] Pashta הַטִּי־נָ֤א כַדֵּךְ֙ [3] Pashta וְאֶשְׁתֶּ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְגַם־גְּמַלֶּ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha אַשְׁקֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta לְעַבְדְּךָ֣ לְיִצְחָ֔ק [2] Zaqef כִּי־עָשִׂ֥יתָ חֶ֖סֶד [2] Tip'cha עִם־אֲדֹנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
14 Let it happen that the young woman [3] to whom I will say, [3 3] ‘Please let down your pitcher [3] that I may drink,’ [2] and also your camels [2] I will give a drink,’ [1] for your servant, for Isaac, [2] that you have shown kindness [2] to my master.” [1] |

15 וַֽיְהִי־ה֗וּא [3] Revi'i טֶ֘רֶם֮ [3 3] Zarqa כִּלָּ֣ה לְדַבֵּר֒ [2] Segol אֲשֶׁ֤ר יֻלְּדָה֙ [3] Pashta לִבְתוּאֵ֣ל בֶּן־מִלְכָּ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֲחִ֣י אַבְרָהָ֑ם [1] Etnachta עַל־שִׁכְמָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
15 And when [3] not yet [3 3] had he finished speaking, [2] who had been born [3] to Bethuel son of Milcah, [2] the brother of Abraham; [1] on her shoulder. [1] |

16 וְהַֽנַּעֲרָ֗ [3] Revi'i טֹבַ֤ת מַרְאֶה֙ [3] Pashta מְאֹ֔ד [2] Zaqef וְאִ֖ישׁ [2] Tip'cha לֹ֣א יְדָעָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta וַתְּמַלֵּ֥א כַדָּ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha וַתָּֽעַל׃ [1] Silluq |
16 And the young woman [3] had a good apearance [3] very, [2] and a man [2] had not known her; [1] and she filled her pitcher [2] and she came up. [1] |

17 וַיָּ֥רׇץ הָעֶ֖בֶד [2] Tip'cha לִקְרָאתָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta מְעַט־מַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha מִכַּדֵּֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq |
17 And the servant ran [2] to meet her; [1] a little water [2] from your pitcher.” [1] |

18 וַתֹּ֖אמֶר [2] Tip'cha שְׁתֵ֣ה אֲדֹנִ֑י [1] Etnachta וַתֹּ֧רֶד כַּדָּ֛הּ [3] Tevir עַל־יָדָ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha וַתַּשְׁקֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
18 And she said, [2] “Drink, my lord.” [1] and she let down her pitcher [3] on her hand, [2] and she gave him a drink. [1] |

19 וַתְּכַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha לְהַשְׁקֹת֑וֹ [1] Etnachta גַּ֤ם לִגְמַלֶּ֙יךָ֙ [3 3] Pashta אֶשְׁאָ֔ב [2] Zaqef לִשְׁתֹּֽת׃ [1] Silluq |
19 When she had finished [2] giving him a drink; [1] “also for your camels [3 3] I will draw water, [2] drinking.” [1] |

20 וַתְּמַהֵ֗ר [3] Revi'i וַתְּעַ֤ר כַּדָּהּ֙ [3] Pashta אֶל־הַשֹּׁ֔קֶת [2] Zaqef אֶֽל־הַבְּאֵ֖ר [2] Tip'cha לִשְׁאֹ֑ב [1] Etnachta לְכׇל־גְּמַלָּֽיו׃ [1] Silluq |
20 And she hurried, [3] and she emptied her pitcher [3] into the trough, [2] to the well [2] to draw water; [1] for all his camels. [1] |

21 וְהָאִ֥ישׁ מִשְׁתָּאֵ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta הַֽהִצְלִ֧יחַ יְהֹוָ֛ה [3] Tevir דַּרְכּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha אִם־לֹֽא׃ [1] Silluq |
21 And the man looked steadfastly [2] at her; [1] whether the LORD had made successful [3] his journey, [2] or not. [1] |
|||
22 וַיְהִ֗י [3] Revi'i כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר כִּלּ֤וּ הַגְּמַלִּים֙ [3] Pashta לִשְׁתּ֔וֹת [2] Zaqef נֶ֣זֶם זָהָ֔ב [2] Zaqef מִשְׁקָל֑וֹ [1] Etnachta עַל־יָדֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef מִשְׁקָלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
22 And then, [3] when the camels had finished [3] drinking, [2] a ring of gold [2] weight; [1] for her hands, [2] their weight, [1] |

23 וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ [3 3] Pashta בַּת־מִ֣י אַ֔תְּ [2] Zaqef לִ֑י [1] Etnachta מָק֥וֹם לָ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha לָלִֽין׃ [1] Silluq |
23 and he said, [3 3] “Whose daughter are you? [2] me. [1] room for us, [2] to stay the night?” [1] |

24 וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef בַּת־בְּתוּאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha אָנֹ֑כִי [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָלְדָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לְנָחֽוֹר׃ [1] Silluq |
24 And she said to him, [2] “The daughter of Bethuel [2] am I; [1] whom she bore [2] to Nahor.” [1] |

25 וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef גַּם־תֶּ֥בֶן גַּם־מִסְפּ֖וֹא [2] Tip'cha רַ֣ב עִמָּ֑נוּ [1] Etnachta לָלֽוּן׃ [1] Silluq |
25 And she said to him, [2] “Both straw and feed [2] enough we have; [1] to stay the night.” [1] |

26 וַיִּקֹּ֣ד הָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef וַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ [2] Tip'cha לַֽיהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
26 And the man bowed low, [2] and he bowed down [2] to the LORD. [1] |

27 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i בָּר֤וּךְ יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta אֱלֹהֵי֙ [3] Pashta אֲדֹנִ֣י אַבְרָהָ֔ם [2] Zaqef לֹֽא־עָזַ֥ב חַסְדּ֛וֹ [3] Tevir וַאֲמִתּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha מֵעִ֣ם אֲדֹנִ֑י [1] Etnachta בַּדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta נָחַ֣נִי יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֲחֵ֥י אֲדֹנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
27 And he said, [3] “Blessed be the LORD, [3] the God [3] of my master Abraham, [2] has not forsaken his lovingkindness [3] and his faithfulness [2] toward my master; [1] on the journey [3 3] the LORD has led me [2] of the relatives of my master.” [1] |

28 וַתָּ֙רׇץ֙ [3 3] Pashta הַֽנַּעֲרָ֔ [2] Zaqef לְבֵ֣ית אִמָּ֑הּ [1] Etnachta הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ [1] Silluq |
28 And she ran, [3 3] the young woman, [2] her mother’s household; [1] these. [1] |

29 וּלְרִבְקָ֥ה אָ֖ח [2] Tip'cha וּשְׁמ֣וֹ לָבָ֑ן [1] Etnachta הַח֖וּצָה [2] Tip'cha אֶל־הָעָֽיִן׃ [1] Silluq |
29 And Rebekah had a brother [2] and his name was Laban; [1] to the outside, [2] to the spring. [1] |

30 וַיְהִ֣י ׀ [4] Legarmeh כִּרְאֹ֣ת אֶת־הַנֶּ֗זֶם [3] Revi'i עַל־יְדֵ֣י אֲחֹתוֹ֒ [2] Segol רִבְקָ֤ה אֲחֹתוֹ֙ [3] Pashta לֵאמֹ֔ר [2] Zaqef הָאִ֑ישׁ [1] Etnachta אֶל־הָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef עֹמֵ֥ד עַל־הַגְּמַלִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha עַל־הָעָֽיִן׃ [1] Silluq |
30 For when [4] he saw the ring [3] on his sister’s hands, [2] of Rebekah his sister [3] saying, [2] the man,” [1] to the man, [2] he was standing with the camels, [2] at the spring. [1] |

31 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר [2] ZaqefG בּ֖וֹא [2] Tip'cha בְּר֣וּךְ יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta בַּח֔וּץ [2] Zaqef פִּנִּ֣יתִי הַבַּ֔יִת [2] Zaqef לַגְּמַלִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
31 And he said, [2] “Come in [2] O blessed one of the LORD. [1] outside? [2] I have prepared the house [2] for the camels.” [1] |

32 וַיָּבֹ֤א הָאִישׁ֙ [3] Pashta הַבַּ֔יְתָה [2] Zaqef הַגְּמַלִּ֑ים [1] Etnachta לַגְּמַלִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef לִרְחֹ֣ץ רַגְלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִתּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
32 And the man went [3] to the house, [2] the camels; [1] to the camels, [2] to wash his feet, [2] who were with him. [1] |

33 *ויישם **וַיּוּשַׂ֤ם לְפָנָיו֙ [3] Pashta לֶאֱכֹ֔ל [2] Zaqef לֹ֣א אֹכַ֔ל [2] Zaqef דְּבָרָ֑י [1] Etnachta דַּבֵּֽר׃ [1] Silluq |
33 And it was set before him [3] to eat, [2] “I will not eat [2] my message.” [1] “Speak.” [1] |

34 וַיֹּאמַ֑ר [1] Etnachta אָנֹֽכִי׃ [1] Silluq |
34 And he said; [1] I am. [1] |
|||
35 וַיהֹוָ֞ה [4] Gershayim בֵּרַ֧ךְ אֶת־אֲדֹנִ֛י [3] Tevir מְאֹ֖ד [2] Tip'cha וַיִּגְדָּ֑ל [1] Etnachta צֹ֤אן וּבָקָר֙ [3] Pashta וְכֶ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֔ב [2] Zaqef וּשְׁפָחֹ֔ת [2] Zaqef וַחֲמֹרִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
35 And the LORD, [4] he has blessed my master [3] greatly, [2] and he has become great, [1] flocks and herds, [3] and silver and gold, [2] and female servants, [2] and donkeys. [1] |

36 וַתֵּ֡לֶד [4] Pazer שָׂרָה֩ אֵ֨שֶׁת אֲדֹנִ֥י בֵן֙ [3] Pashta לַֽאדֹנִ֔י [2] Zaqef זִקְנָתָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta אֶת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁר־לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
36 And she bore, [4] Sarah the wife of my master, a son [3] to my master, [2] her old age; [1] all that he has. [1] |

37 וַיַּשְׁבִּעֵ֥נִי אֲדֹנִ֖י [2] Tip'cha לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta לִבְנִ֔י [2] Zaqef הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י [2] Zaqef יֹשֵׁ֥ב בְּאַרְצֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
37 And my master made me swear [2] saying; [1] for my son, [2] of the Canaanites [2] am dwelling in their land, [1] |
|||
38 אִם־לֹ֧א אֶל־בֵּית־אָבִ֛י [3] Tevir תֵּלֵ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha וְאֶל־מִשְׁפַּחְתִּ֑י [1] Etnachta לִבְנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
38 but to the house of my father [3] you shall go, [2] and to my relatives; [1] for my son.’ [1] |

39 וָאֹמַ֖ר [2] Tip'cha אֶל־אֲדֹנִ֑י [1] Etnachta לֹא־תֵלֵ֥ךְ הָאִשָּׁ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אַחֲרָֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
39 And I said [2] to my master; [1] the woman will not [2] follow me?’ [1] |

40 וַיֹּ֖אמֶר [2] Tip'cha אֵלָ֑י [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁר־הִתְהַלַּ֣כְתִּי לְפָנָ֗יו [3] Revi'i וְהִצְלִ֣יחַ דַּרְכֶּ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef לִבְנִ֔י [2] Zaqef וּמִבֵּ֥ית אָבִֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
40 And he said [2] to me; [1] before whom I walk, [3] and he will make your journey successful, [2] for my son, [2] and from the house of my father. [1] |

41 אָ֤ז תִּנָּקֶה֙ [3] Pashta מֵאָ֣לָתִ֔י [2] Zaqef אֶל־מִשְׁפַּחְתִּ֑י [1] Etnachta לָ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef מֵאָלָתִֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
41 Then you will be free [3] from my oath [2] to my relatives; [1] to you, [2] from my oath.’ [1] |

42 וָאָבֹ֥א הַיּ֖וֹם [2] Tip'cha אֶל־הָעָ֑יִן [1] Etnachta יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta אֱלֹהֵי֙ [3] Pashta אֲדֹנִ֣י אַבְרָהָ֔ם [2] Zaqef מַצְלִ֣יחַ דַּרְכִּ֔י [2] Zaqef הֹלֵ֥ךְ עָלֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq |
42 So I came today [2] to the spring; [1] ‘O LORD, [3] God [3] of my master Abraham, [2] make successful my journey [2] am going on, [1] |

43 הִנֵּ֛ה [3] Tevir אָנֹכִ֥י נִצָּ֖ב [2] Tip'cha עַל־עֵ֣ין הַמָּ֑יִם [1] Etnachta הַיֹּצֵ֣את לִשְׁאֹ֔ב [2] Zaqef הַשְׁקִֽינִי־נָ֥א מְעַט־מַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha מִכַּדֵּֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq |
43 behold [3] I am standing, [2] at this spring of water; [1] who comes out to draw water, [2] “Please give me a little water to drink [2] from your pitcher,” [1] |

44 וְאָמְרָ֤ה אֵלַי֙ [3] Pashta גַּם־אַתָּ֣ה שְׁתֵ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֶשְׁאָ֑ב [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁר־הֹכִ֥יחַ יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לְבֶן־אֲדֹנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
44 then she tells me, [3] “Drink, [2] I will draw water,” [1] whom the LORD has appointed [2] for the son of my master.’ [1] |

45 אֲנִי֩ טֶ֨רֶם אֲכַלֶּ֜ה [4] Geresh לְדַבֵּ֣ר אֶל־לִבִּ֗י [3] Revi'i וְכַדָּ֣הּ עַל־שִׁכְמָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef וַתִּשְׁאָ֑ב [1] Etnachta הַשְׁקִ֥ינִי נָֽא׃ [1] Silluq |
45 When I hadn't yet finished [4] speaking in my heart, [3] with her pitcher on her shoulder, [2] and she drew water; [1] ‘Please give me a drink.’ [1] |

46 וַתְּמַהֵ֗ר [3] Revi'i וַתּ֤וֹרֶד כַּדָּהּ֙ [3] Pashta מֵֽעָלֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef וְגַם־גְּמַלֶּ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha אַשְׁקֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta וְגַ֥ם הַגְּמַלִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha הִשְׁקָֽתָה׃ [1] Silluq |
46 And she hurried [3] and she put down her pitcher [3] from on her, [2] and also your camels [2] I will give a drink.’ [1] and also the camels [2] she gave a drink. [1] |

48 And I bowed low and I bowed down [2] to the LORD; [1] the LORD, [3] the God [3] of my master Abraham, [2] in the right way [2] the daughter of the brother of my master [2] for his son. [1] |

49 וְ֠עַתָּ֠ה [4 4] TelishaG אִם־יֶשְׁכֶ֨ם עֹשִׂ֜ים [4] Geresh חֶ֧סֶד וֶֽאֱמֶ֛ת [3] Tevir אֶת־אֲדֹנִ֖י [2] Tip'cha הַגִּ֣ידוּ לִ֔י [2] Zaqef וְאֶפְנֶ֥ה עַל־יָמִ֖ין [2] Tip'cha א֥וֹ עַל־שְׂמֹֽאל׃ [1] Silluq |
49 And now [4 4] if you will deal [4] kindly and faithfully [3] with my master, [2] tell me, [2] that I may turn to the right [2] or to the left.” [1] |

50 Then Laban and Bethuel answered [3] and they said, [2] the matter has come; [1] speak to you [2] bad or good. [1] |

51 Behold, Rebekah is before you, [2] take her and go; [1] of the son of your master, [2] the LORD has spoken.” [1] |

53 And the servant brought out [4] jewels of silver and jewels of gold, [3] and clothing, [2] to Rebekah; [1] he gave to her brother [2] and to her mother. [1] |

54 And they ate and they drank, [3] he [3] and the men who were with him, [2] and they stayed the night; [1] and he said, [2] “Send me away to my master.” [1] |

59 So they sent away [3] Rebekah their sister, [2] and her nurse; [1] and his men. [1] |

60 And they blessed Rebekah [3] and they said to her, [2] may you become [2] thousands of ten thousands; [1] the [2] gate of those who hate them.” [1] |

61 And Rebekah arose [4] with her maids, [3] on the camels, [2] after the man; [1] Rebekah, [2] and he went his way. [1] |

62 And Isaac, [3] he came from the way of [2] Roi; [1] in the land of the Negev. [1] |

63 And Isaac went out [3] to meditate in the field [2] as it was turning to evening; [1] and he saw, [2] were coming. [1] |

65 And she said to the servant, [3] “Who is this man [3] who is walking in the field [3] to meet us?” [2] “It is my master.” [1] and she covered herself. [1] |
