| ישעה 16 | Isaiah 16 | |||
1 Send lambs to the ruler of the land, [2] from Selah in the desert; [1] of the daughter of Zion. [1] |
2 For it will be that like fluttering birds [2] scattered from a nest; [1] the daughters of Moab [2] of Arnon. [1] |
3 Give counsel, [3] execute justice, [2] your shadow [2] at the height of noonday; [1] the refugees, [2] do not betray, [1] |
4 let them stay with you, [3] my refugees, [2] be a hiding place for them, [2] from the face of the destroyer; [1] devastation ceases, [2] from the land. [1] § |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
5 And it will be established in lovingkindness, [3] a throne, [2] in faithfulness, [2] in the tent of David; [1] and who seeks justice, [2] and is swift to do righteousness. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
6 We have heard of the pride of Moab, [2] very proud; [1] and his insolence, [2] false are his empty boasts. [1] |
| 7 לָכֵ֗ן [3] Revi'a יְיֵלִ֥יל מוֹאָ֛ב [3] Merkha Tevir לְמוֹאָ֖ב [2] Tip'cha כֻּלֹּ֣ה יְיֵלִ֑יל [1] Munach Etnachta תֶּהְגּ֖וּ [2] Tip'cha אַךְ־נְכָאִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
7 Therefore [3] Moab will wail [3] for Moab, [2] everyone will wail; [1] you will moan, [2] utterly stricken. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
8 For the fields of Heshbon have withered, [4] the vine of Sibmah, [3] they have trampled its choice clusters, [2] and into the desert; [1] they spread out, [2] they crossed to the sea. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
9 Therefore [4] I will weep [4] bitterly for Jazer, [3] the vine of Sibmah, [2] with my tears, [2] and Elealeh; [1] and on your harvest, [2] the battle cry has fallen. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
10 And gladness and joy are taken away [3] from the fruitful field, [2] no happy shouting; [1] in the presses [3] the treader doesn't tread, [2] I have made the shouting stop. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
11 Therefore [3] my heart, for Moab [2] it moans; [1] for Kir Heres. [1] |
12 So it will come to pass when he has presented himself, [3] when Moab has wearied himself [2] on the high place; [1] to pray, [2] that he will not prevail. [1] § |
| 13 זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֗ר [3] Munach Revi'a אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה [3] Qadma Darga Tevir אֶל־מוֹאָ֖ב [2] Tip'cha מֵאָֽז׃ [1] Silluq |
13 This is the word [3] which the LORD has spoken [3] concerning Moab [2] in time past. [1] |
| 14 וְעַתָּ֗ה [3] Revi'a דִּבֶּ֣ר יְהֹוָה֮ [3] Munach Zarqa לֵאמֹר֒ [2] Segol כִּשְׁנֵ֣י שָׂכִ֔יר [2] Munach Zaqef כְּב֣וֹד מוֹאָ֔ב [2] Munach Zaqef הֶהָמ֣וֹן הָרָ֑ב [1] Munach Etnachta מִזְעָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha ל֥וֹא כַבִּֽיר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq פ |
14 But now [3] the LORD has spoken [3] saying, [2] like the years of a hired laborer, [2] the glory of Moab, [2] the great multitude; [1] very small, [2] not mighty.” [1] ¶ |
