1 הֵ֤ן עַבְדִּי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֶתְמׇךְ־בּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
בְּחִירִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
רָצְתָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta
 
נָתַ֤תִּי רוּחִי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
עָלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
מִשְׁפָּ֖ט [2] Tip'cha
לַגּוֹיִ֥ם יוֹצִֽיא׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

whom I uphold, [2]
 
my chosen one [2]
with whom my soul delights; [1]
 
I have put my Spirit [3]
on him, [2]
 
justice [2]
he will bring to the nations. [1]

וְלֹ֣א יִשָּׂ֑א [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְלֹא־יַשְׁמִ֥יעַ בַּח֖וּץ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
קוֹלֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 He will not cry out [2]
and he will not lift up; [1]
 
and he will not make heard in the street, [2]
his voice. [1]
3 קָנֶ֤ה רָצוּץ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לֹ֣א יִשְׁבּ֔וֹר [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּפִשְׁתָּ֥ה כֵהָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֹ֣א יְכַבֶּ֑נָּה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
לֶאֱמֶ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
יוֹצִ֥יא מִשְׁפָּֽט׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

he will not break, [2]
 
and a dimly burning wick, [2]
he will not snuff it out; [1]
 
faithfully [2]
he will bring forth justice. [1]

וְלֹ֣א יָר֔וּץ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
עַד־יָשִׂ֥ים בָּאָ֖רֶץ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִשְׁפָּ֑ט [1] Etnachta
 
וּלְתוֹרָת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
אִיִּ֥ים יְיַחֵֽלוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

and he will not be crushed, [2]
 
until he has established on the earth [2]
justice; [1]
 
and for his instruction [2]
the islands will wait.” [1]

לָעָ֣ם עָלֶ֔יהָ [2] Munach Zaqef

who spread out the earth [2]

to those who walk on it. [1]

קְרָאתִ֥יךָֽ בְצֶ֖דֶק [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְאַחְזֵ֣ק בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְאֶצׇּרְךָ֗ [3] Revi'a
וְאֶתֶּנְךָ֛ [3] Tevir
לִבְרִ֥ית עָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְא֥וֹר גּוֹיִֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

מִבֵּ֥ית כֶּ֖לֶא [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יֹ֥שְׁבֵי חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

blind eyes; [1]
 
to bring out of the dungeon [3]
prisoners, [2]
 
out of the prison house [2]
those who dwell in darkness. [1]

לְאַחֵ֣ר לֹֽא־אֶתֵּ֔ן [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּתְהִלָּתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
לַפְּסִילִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

that is my name; [1]
 
and my glory [3]
to another I will not give, [2]
 
or my praise [2]
to graven images. [1]

וַֽחֲדָשׁוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
אֲנִ֣י מַגִּ֔יד [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בְּטֶ֥רֶם תִּצְמַ֖חְנָה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אַשְׁמִ֥יעַ אֶתְכֶֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

I will declare, [2]
 
before they spring forth [2]

תְּהִלָּת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
מִקְצֵ֣ה הָאָ֑רֶץ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
יוֹרְדֵ֤י הַיָּם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וּמְלֹא֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
אִיִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
וְיֹשְׁבֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

a new song, [2]
 
his praise [2]
from the end of the earth; [1]
 
O those who go down to the sea [3]
and its fullness, [2]
 
O islands [2]
and their inhabitants. [1]

חֲצֵרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
תֵּשֵׁ֣ב קֵדָ֑ר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
יָרֹ֙נּוּ֙ [3] Pashta
יֹ֣שְׁבֵי סֶ֔לַע [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מֵרֹ֥אשׁ הָרִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יִצְוָֽחוּ׃ [1] Silluq

and its cities, [2]
 
the villages [2]
that Kedar inhabits; [1]
 
let them sing for joy, [3]
the inhabitants of Sela, [2]
 
from the top of the mountains [2]
let them shout for joy! [1]
12 יָשִׂ֥ימוּ לַיהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כָּב֑וֹד [1] Etnachta
 
וּתְהִלָּת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
בָּאִיִּ֥ים יַגִּֽידוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 12 Let them give to the LORD [2]
glory; [1]
 
and his praise, [2]
in the islands let them declare. [1]
13 יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
כַּגִּבּ֣וֹר יֵצֵ֔א [2] Munach Zaqef
 
כְּאִ֥ישׁ מִלְחָמ֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יָעִ֣יר קִנְאָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
יָרִ֙יעַ֙ [3] Pashta
אַף־יַצְרִ֔יחַ [2] Zaqef
 
עַל־אֹיְבָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
יִתְגַּבָּֽר׃ [1] Silluq

as a mighty one he goes forth, [2]
 
like a man of war [2]
he stirs up zeal; [1]
 
he will raise a war cry, [3]
and he will raise a battle shout, [2]
 
over his enemies [2]

כַּיּוֹלֵדָ֣ה אֶפְעֶ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
אֶשֹּׁ֥ם וְאֶשְׁאַ֖ף [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יָֽחַד׃ [1] Silluq

from long ago, [2]
 
I have been still, [2]
I have restrained myself; [1]
 
now like a woman in labor I groan, [2]
I gasp and I pant [2]
together. [1]

וּגְבָע֔וֹת [2] Zaqef
 
וְכׇל־עֶשְׂבָּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
אוֹבִ֑ישׁ [1] Etnachta
 
וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י נְהָרוֹת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לָאִיִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וַאֲגַמִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
אוֹבִֽישׁ׃ [1] Silluq

and hills, [2]
 
and all their vegetation [2]
I will dry up; [1]
 
and I will make rivers [3]
islands, [2]
 
and pools [2]
I will dry up. [1]
16 וְהוֹלַכְתִּ֣י עִוְרִ֗ים [3] Munach Revi'a
בְּדֶ֙רֶךְ֙ [3] Pashta
לֹ֣א יָדָ֔עוּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בִּנְתִיב֥וֹת לֹא־יָדְע֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אַדְרִיכֵ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
אָשִׂים֩ מַחְשָׁ֨ךְ לִפְנֵיהֶ֜ם [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
לָא֗וֹר [3] Revi'a
 
וּמַֽעֲקַשִּׁים֙ [3] Pashta
לְמִישׁ֔וֹר [2] Zaqef
 
אֵ֚לֶּה [3] Yetiv
הַדְּבָרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
עֲשִׂיתִ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
וְלֹ֥א עֲזַבְתִּֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

by paths they have not known [2]
I will guide them; [1]
 
I will make darkness before them [4]

I will do for them, [2]
and I will not forsake them. [1]

הָאֹמְרִ֥ים לְמַסֵּכָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אַתֶּ֥ם אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

those who trust [2]
in idols; [1]
 
who say to a molten image, [2]
‘You are our god,’ ” [1]

וְהַעִוְרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
הַבִּ֥יטוּ לִרְאֽוֹת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

and O blind, [2]
look to see. [1]

וְחֵרֵ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha
כְּמַלְאָכִ֣י אֶשְׁלָ֑ח [1] Munach Etnachta

כִּמְשֻׁלָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וְעִוֵּ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
כְּעֶ֥בֶד יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

Or deaf [2]
as my messenger that I send? [1]

as the one in covenant, [2]

וְלֹ֣א תִשְׁמֹ֑ר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
פָּק֥וֹחַ אׇזְנַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלֹ֥א יִשְׁמָֽע׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 20 You see many things, [2]
but you do not pay attention; [1]
 
(his) ears are open, [2]
but he doesn’t hear. [1]
21 יְהֹוָ֥ה חָפֵ֖ץ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְמַ֣עַן צִדְק֑וֹ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
יַגְדִּ֥יל תּוֹרָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְיַאְדִּֽיר׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 21 The LORD was pleased [2]
for the sake of his righteousness; [1]
 
to magnify the law [2]
and make it glorious. [1]
22 וְהוּא֮ [3] Zarqa
עַם־בָּז֣וּז וְשָׁסוּי֒ [2] Munach Segol
 
הָפֵ֤חַ בַּחוּרִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
כֻּלָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וּבְבָתֵּ֥י כְלָאִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הׇחְבָּ֑אוּ [1] Etnachta
 
הָי֤וּ לָבַז֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְאֵ֣ין מַצִּ֔יל [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מְשִׁסָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וְאֵין־אֹמֵ֥ר הָשַֽׁב׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

is a robbed and plundered people, [2]
 
they are trapped in holes, [3]
all of them, [2]
 
and in prisons [2]
they are hidden; [1]
 
they have become captives [3]
with no deliverer, [2]
 
plunder, [2]
with none to say, ‘Give them back!’ [1]

יַאֲזִ֣ין זֹ֑את [1] Munach Etnachta
 
יַקְשִׁ֥ב וְיִשְׁמַ֖ע [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְאָחֽוֹר׃ [1] Silluq

will give ear to this - [1]
 
will pay attention and listen [2]
in the time to come? [1]
24 מִֽי־נָתַ֨ן *למשוסה **לִמְשִׁסָּ֧ה יַעֲקֹ֛ב [3] Qadma Darga Tevir
וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל לְבֹזְזִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הֲל֣וֹא יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
ז֚וּ [3] Yetiv
חָטָ֣אנוּ ל֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְלֹֽא־אָב֤וּ בִדְרָכָיו֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
הָל֔וֹךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וְלֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּתוֹרָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

and Israel to the plunderers? [2]
Was it not the LORD? [1]
 
The one whom [3]
we've sinned against? [2]
 
For they were not willing in his ways [3]
to walk, [2]
 
and they did not listen [2]
to his law. [1]
25 וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֤ךְ עָלָיו֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
חֵמָ֣ה אַפּ֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וֶעֱז֖וּז [2] Tip'cha
מִלְחָמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
וַתְּלַהֲטֵ֤הוּ מִסָּבִיב֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְלֹ֣א יָדָ֔ע [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַתִּבְעַר־בּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
וְלֹא־יָשִׂ֥ים עַל־לֵֽב׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 25 So he poured out on him [3]
the fury of his anger, [2]
 
and the fierceness [2]
of battle; [1]
 
and it set him on fire all around, [3]
but he didn’t understand, [2]
 
and it burned him, [2]
but he didn’t take it to heart.” [1]
