1 הַצַּדִּ֣יק אָבָ֔ד [2] Munach Zaqef
וְאֵ֥ין אִ֖ישׁ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
שָׂ֣ם עַל־לֵ֑ב [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְאַנְשֵׁי־חֶ֤סֶד נֶאֱסָפִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּאֵ֣ין מֵבִ֔ין [2] Munach Zaqef
 
כִּֽי־מִפְּנֵ֥י הָרָעָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
נֶאֱסַ֥ף הַצַּדִּֽיק׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 1 The righteous one perishes, [2]
but no one [2]
takes it to heart; [1]
 
and devout men are taken away [3]
but no one understands, [2]
 
that from evil [2]
the righteous one is taken away. [1]

יָנ֖וּחוּ [2] Tip'cha
עַל־מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
הֹלֵ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
נְכֹחֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

on their beds; [1]
 
each one who walked [2]
in his integrity. [1]

3 וְאַתֶּ֥ם קִרְבוּ־הֵ֖נָּה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּנֵ֣י עֹנְנָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
זֶ֥רַע מְנָאֵ֖ף [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וַתִּזְנֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 “But you come here [2]
O children of a sorceress; [1]
 
offspring of an adulterer [2]
and prostitute. [1]
4 עַל־מִי֙ [3] Pashta
תִּתְעַנָּ֔גוּ [2] Zaqef
 
עַל־מִ֛י [3] Tevir
תַּרְחִ֥יבוּ פֶ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
תַּאֲרִ֣יכוּ לָשׁ֑וֹן [1] Munach Etnachta
 
הֲלוֹא־אַתֶּ֥ם יִלְדֵי־פֶ֖שַׁע [2] Merkha Tip'cha
זֶ֥רַע שָֽׁקֶר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

בַּנְּחָלִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
תַּ֖חַת [2] Tip'cha
סְעִפֵ֥י הַסְּלָעִֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

among the oaks, [2]
 
under [2]
every green tree; [1]
 
who slaughter the children [3]
in the valleys, [2]
 
under [2]
the clefts of the rocks? [1]
6 בְּחַלְּקֵי־נַ֣חַל חֶלְקֵ֔ךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
הֵ֥ם הֵ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
גּוֹרָלֵ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
גַּם־לָהֶ֞ם [4] Gershayim
שָׁפַ֥כְתְּ נֶ֙סֶךְ֙ [3] Merkha Pashta
הֶעֱלִ֣ית מִנְחָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
הַ֥עַל אֵ֖לֶּה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֶנָּחֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 4 2 6 Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion, [2]
they, they [2]
are your lot; [1]
 
also to them [4]
you have poured out a drink offering, [3]
you have offered up a grain offering. [2]
 
For these things [2]
shall I relent? [1]
7 עַ֤ל הַר־גָּבֹ֙הַּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְנִשָּׂ֔א [2] Zaqef
 
שַׂ֖מְתְּ [2] Tip'cha
מִשְׁכָּבֵ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
גַּם־שָׁ֥ם עָלִ֖ית [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לִזְבֹּ֥חַ זָֽבַח׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

and lofty [2]
 
you have made [2]
your bed; [1]
 
also there you went up [2]
to offer sacrifice. [1]
8 וְאַחַ֤ר הַדֶּ֙לֶת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְהַמְּזוּזָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
שַׂ֖מְתְּ [2] Tip'cha
זִכְרוֹנֵ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י מֵאִתִּ֞י [4] Munach Gershayim
גִּלִּ֣ית וַֽתַּעֲלִ֗י [3] Munach Revi'a
 
הִרְחַ֤בְתְּ מִשְׁכָּבֵךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וַתִּכְרׇת־לָ֣ךְ מֵהֶ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אָהַ֥בְתְּ מִשְׁכָּבָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יָ֥ד חָזִֽית׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

your memorial; [1]
 
for away from me [4]
you uncovered and you went up. [3]
 
You made wide your bed [3]
and you cut for yourself a covenant with them. [2]

you looked on nakedness. [1]
9 וַתָּשֻׁ֤רִי לַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן [2] Zaqef
 
וַתַּרְבִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
רִקֻּחָ֑יִךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וַתְּשַׁלְּחִ֤י צִרַ֙יִךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
עַד־מֵ֣רָחֹ֔ק [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַתַּשְׁפִּ֖ילִי [2] Tip'cha
עַד־שְׁאֽוֹל׃ [1] Silluq

with oil [2]
 
and you increased [2]
your perfumes; [1]
 
and you sent your ambassadors [3]
far away [2]
 
and you debased yourself [2]
to Sheol. [1]
10 בְּרֹ֤ב דַּרְכֵּךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
יָגַ֔עַתְּ [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֥א אָמַ֖רְתְּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
נוֹאָ֑שׁ [1] Etnachta
 
חַיַּ֤ת יָדֵךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
מָצָ֔את [2] Zaqef
 
עַל־כֵּ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א חָלִֽית׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

you were wearied [2]
 
yet you did not say, [2]
‘It is hopeless.’ [1]
 
Renewed strength [3]
you found [2]

כִּ֣י תְכַזֵּ֔בִי [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְאוֹתִי֙ [3] Pashta
לֹ֣א זָכַ֔רְתְּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לֹא־שַׂ֖מְתְּ [2] Tip'cha
עַל־לִבֵּ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
הֲלֹ֨א אֲנִ֤י מַחְשֶׁה֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
וּמֵ֣עֹלָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְאוֹתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א תִירָֽאִי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

have you dreaded and feared [3]

you did not remember, [2]
 
nor laid it [2]
on your heart? [1]
 
Is it not that I have held my peace, [3]

you do not fear? [1]
12 אֲנִ֥י אַגִּ֖יד [2] Merkha Tip'cha
צִדְקָתֵ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֶֽת־מַעֲשַׂ֖יִךְ [2] Tip'cha
וְלֹ֥א יוֹעִילֽוּךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 12 I, I will declare [2]
your righteousness; [1]
 
and your deeds - [2]
they will not profit you. [1]
13 בְּזַֽעֲקֵךְ֙ [3] Pashta
יַצִּילֻ֣ךְ קִבּוּצַ֔יִךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְאֶת־כֻּלָּ֥ם יִשָּׂא־ר֖וּחַ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יִקַּח־הָ֑בֶל [1] Etnachta
 
וְהַחוֹסֶ֥ה בִי֙ [3] Merkha Pashta
יִנְחַל־אֶ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef
 
וְיִירַ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha
הַר־קׇדְשִֽׁי׃ [1] Silluq

let those whom you have gathered deliver you - [2]
 
and a wind will carry them all away, [2]
a breath will take them away; [1]
 
but the one who takes refuge in me, [3]
he will inherit the land, [2]
 
and he will possess [2]
my holy mountain.” [1]
14 וְאָמַ֥ר סֹֽלּוּ־סֹ֖לּוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
פַּנּוּ־דָ֑רֶךְ [1] Etnachta
 
הָרִ֥ימוּ מִכְשׁ֖וֹל [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִדֶּ֥רֶךְ עַמִּֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

1 2 2 14 Then it will be said, “Build up, build up, [2]
prepare the way; [1]
 
remove every stumbling block [2]
out of the way of my people.” [1]

15 כִּי֩ כֹ֨ה אָמַ֜ר [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
רָ֣ם וְנִשָּׂ֗א [3] Munach Revi'a
 
שֹׁכֵ֥ן עַד֙ [3] Merkha Pashta
וְקָד֣וֹשׁ שְׁמ֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מָר֥וֹם וְקָד֖וֹשׁ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֶשְׁכּ֑וֹן [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֶת־דַּכָּא֙ [3] Pashta
וּשְׁפַל־ר֔וּחַ [2] Zaqef
 
לְהַחֲיוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
ר֣וּחַ שְׁפָלִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּֽלְהַחֲי֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
לֵ֥ב נִדְכָּאִֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

the high and exalted One, [3]
 
who inhabits eternity [3]
and whose name is Holy, [2]
 
“In a high and holy place [2]
I dwell; [1]
 
and with the contrite [3]
and the humble of spirit, [2]
 
to revive [3]
the spirit of the humble, [2]
 
and to revive [2]
the heart of the contrite. [1]
16 כִּ֣י לֹ֤א לְעוֹלָם֙ [3] Munach Mapakh Pashta
אָרִ֔יב [2] Zaqef
 
וְלֹ֥א לָנֶ֖צַח [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֶקְצ֑וֹף [1] Etnachta
 
כִּי־ר֙וּחַ֙ [3] Pashta
מִלְּפָנַ֣י יַעֲט֔וֹף [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּנְשָׁמ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
אֲנִ֥י עָשִֽׂיתִי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

will I contend, [2]
 
and not always [2]
will I be angry; [1]
 
for the spirit [3]
before me would grow faint, [2]
 
and the breath [2]
of those whom I, I have made. [1]
17 בַּעֲוֺ֥ן בִּצְע֛וֹ [3] Merkha Tevir
קָצַ֥פְתִּי וְאַכֵּ֖הוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הַסְתֵּ֣ר וְאֶקְצֹ֑ף [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ שׁוֹבָ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ לִבּֽוֹ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 17 Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain [3]
I was angry and I struck him, [2]
I hid and I was angry; [1]
 
but he continued to turn away, [2]
in the way of his own heart. [1]
18 דְּרָכָ֥יו רָאִ֖יתִי [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְאֶרְפָּאֵ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְאַנְחֵ֕הוּ [2] ZaqefG
 
וַאֲשַׁלֵּ֧ם נִחֻמִ֛ים [3] Darga Tevir
ל֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
וְלַאֲבֵלָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq

but I will heal him; [1]
 
and I will lead him, [2]
 
and I will restore comfort [3]
to him [2]
and to his mourners, [1]
19 בּוֹרֵ֖א [2] Tip'cha
*נוב **נִ֣יב שְׂפָתָ֑יִם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
שָׁל֨וֹם ׀ שָׁל֜וֹם [4] Qadma Geresh
לָרָח֧וֹק וְלַקָּר֛וֹב [3] Darga Tevir
אָמַ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וּרְפָאתִֽיו׃ [1] Silluq

the fruit of the lips; [1]
 
peace, peace, [4]
to the one who is far and to the one who is near,” [3]
says the LORD, [2]
“and I will heal him.” [1]
20 וְהָרְשָׁעִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
כַּיָּ֣ם נִגְרָ֑שׁ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּ֤י הַשְׁקֵט֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לֹ֣א יוּכָ֔ל [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַיִּגְרְשׁ֥וּ מֵימָ֖יו [2] Merkha Tip'cha
רֶ֥פֶשׁ וָטִֽיט׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 20 But the wicked [2]
are like a troubled sea; [1]
 
for to rest, [3]
it is not able, [2]
 
and its waters toss up [2]
mire and mud. [1]
21 אֵ֣ין שָׁל֔וֹם [2] Munach Zaqef
אָמַ֥ר אֱלֹהַ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לָרְשָׁעִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
