	²כֹּה־אָמַ֞ר [4] Gershayim יְהֹוָ֧ה צְבָא֛וֹת [3] Darga Tevir אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Merkha Tip'cha לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta שָׁבַ֕רְתִּי [2] ZaqefG אֶת־עֹ֖ל [2] Tip'cha מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²“Thus he says, [4] the LORD of Hosts, [3] the God of Israel, [2] saying, [1] ‘I will break [2] the yoke [2] of the king of Babylon. [1]
	³בְּע֣וֹד ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh שְׁנָתַ֣יִם יָמִ֗ים [3] Munach Revi'a אֲנִ֤י מֵשִׁיב֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶל־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef אֶֽת־כׇּל־כְּלֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha בֵּ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta אֲשֶׁ֨ר לָקַ֜ח [4] Qadma Geresh נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֤ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶל֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta מִן־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וַיְבִיאֵ֖ם [2] Tip'cha בָּבֶֽל׃ [1] Silluq		³Within two full years I will bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried to Babylon. [4]
	⁴וְאֶת־יְכׇנְיָ֣ה בֶן־יְהוֹיָקִ֣ים מֶלֶךְ־יְ֠הוּדָ֠ה [4] Munach Munach TelishaG וְאֶת־כׇּל־גָּל֨וּת יְהוּדָ֜ה [4] Qadma Geresh הַבָּאִ֣ים בָּבֶ֗לָה [3] Munach Revi'a אֲנִ֥י מֵשִׁ֛יב [3] Merkha Tevir אֶל־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta כִּ֣י אֶשְׁבֹּ֔ר [2] Munach Zaqef אֶת־עֹ֖ל [2] Tip'cha מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁴I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, who went to Babylon,’ says the LORD; ‘for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’ ” ¶ [4]
	⁵וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ [3] Pashta יִרְמְיָ֣ה הַנָּבִ֔יא [2] Munach Zaqef אֶל־חֲנַנְיָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha הַנָּבִ֑יא [1] Etnachta לְעֵינֵ֤י הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וּלְעֵינֵ֣י כׇל־הָעָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef הָעֹמְדִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha בְּבֵ֥ית יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁵Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people who stood in the LORD’s house, [3]
	⁶וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ [3] Pashta יִרְמְיָ֣ה הַנָּבִ֔יא [2] Munach Zaqef אָמֵ֕ן [2] ZaqefG כֵּ֖ן [2] Tip'cha יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta יָקֵ֤ם יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶת־דְּבָרֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִבֵּ֗אתָ [3] Munach Revi'a לְהָשִׁ֞יב [4] Gershayim כְּלֵ֤י בֵית־יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וְכׇל־הַגּוֹלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef מִבָּבֶ֖ל [2] Tip'cha אֶל־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁶even the prophet Jeremiah said, “Amen! May the LORD do so. May the LORD perform your words which you have prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD’s house, and all those who are captives, from Babylon to this place. [3]
	⁷אַךְ־שְׁמַֽע־נָא֙ [3] Pashta הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha דֹּבֵ֣ר בְּאׇזְנֶ֑יךָ [1] Munach Etnachta וּבְאׇזְנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha כׇּל־הָעָֽם׃ [1] Silluq		⁷Nevertheless listen now to this word that I speak in your ears, and in the ears of all the people: [3]
	⁸הַנְּבִיאִ֗ים [3] Revi'a אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָי֧וּ לְפָנַ֛י [3] Qadma Darga Tevir וּלְפָנֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha מִן־הָעוֹלָ֑ם [1] Etnachta וַיִּנָּ֨בְא֜וּ [4] Qadma Geresh אֶל־אֲרָצ֤וֹת רַבּוֹת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וְעַל־מַמְלָכ֣וֹת גְּדֹל֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef לְמִלְחָמָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וּלְרָעָ֥ה וּלְדָֽבֶר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁸The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, of evil, and of pestilence. [3]
	⁹הַנָּבִ֕יא [2] ZaqefG אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִנָּבֵ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְשָׁל֑וֹם [1] Etnachta בְּבֹא֙ [3] Pashta דְּבַ֣ר הַנָּבִ֔יא [2] Munach Zaqef יִוָּדַע֙ [3] Pashta הַנָּבִ֔יא [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁר־שְׁלָח֥וֹ יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha בֶּאֱמֶֽת׃ [1] Silluq		⁹The prophet [2] who prophesies [2] of peace; [1] when (it) comes to pass, [3] the word of the prophet, [2] then he will be known, [3] the prophet, [2] as one whom the LORD has sent [2] truly.” [1]
	¹⁰וַיִּקַּ֞ח [4] Gershayim חֲנַנְיָ֤ה הַנָּבִיא֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶת־הַמּוֹטָ֔ה [2] Zaqef מֵעַ֕ל [2] ZaqefG צַוַּ֖אר [2] Tip'cha יִרְמְיָ֣ה הַנָּבִ֑יא [1] Munach Etnachta וַֽיִּשְׁבְּרֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁰Then Hananiah the prophet took the bar from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and broke it. [4]
	¹¹וַיֹּ֣אמֶר חֲנַנְיָה֩ לְעֵינֵ֨י כׇל־הָעָ֜ם [4] Munach TelishaQ Qadma Geresh לֵאמֹ֗ר [3] Revi'a כֹּה֮ [3] Zarqa אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָה֒ [2] Munach Segol כָּ֣כָה אֶשְׁבֹּ֞ר [4] Munach Gershayim אֶת־עֹ֣ל ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֣ר מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֗ל [3] Munach Revi'a בְּעוֹד֙ [3] Pashta שְׁנָתַ֣יִם יָמִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef מֵעַ֕ל [2] ZaqefG צַוַּ֖אר [2] Tip'cha כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֑ם [1] Etnachta וַיֵּ֛לֶךְ [3] Tevir יִרְמְיָ֥ה הַנָּבִ֖יא [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְדַרְכּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq פ		¹¹Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, “The LORD says: ‘Even so I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from off the neck of all the nations within two full years.’ ” Then the prophet Jeremiah went his way. ¶ [4]
	¹²וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֑ה [1] Etnachta אַ֠חֲרֵ֠י [4] TelishaG שְׁב֞וֹר [4] Gershayim חֲנַנְיָ֤ה הַנָּבִיא֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶת־הַמּוֹטָ֔ה [2] Zaqef מֵעַ֗ל [3] Revi'a צַוַּ֛אר [3] Tevir יִרְמְיָ֥ה הַנָּבִ֖יא [2] Merkha Tip'cha לֵאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq		¹²Then the LORD’s word came to Jeremiah, after Hananiah the prophet had broken the bar from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, [2]
	¹³הָלוֹךְ֩ וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֨ אֶל־חֲנַנְיָ֜ה [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh לֵאמֹ֗ר [3] Revi'a כֹּ֚ה [3] Yetiv אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef מוֹטֹ֥ת עֵ֖ץ [2] Merkha Tip'cha שָׁבָ֑רְתָּ [1] Etnachta וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ תַחְתֵּיהֶ֖ן [2] Merkha Tip'cha מֹט֥וֹת בַּרְזֶֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹³“Go, and tell Hananiah, saying, ‘The LORD says, “You have broken the bars of wood, but you have made in their place bars of iron.” [4]
	¹⁴כִּ֣י כֹֽה־אָמַר֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת [4] Munach TelishaQ Qadma Geresh אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל [3] Munach Revi'a עֹ֣ל בַּרְזֶ֡ל [4] Munach Pazer נָתַ֜תִּי [4] Geresh עַל־צַוַּ֣אר ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֣ם הָאֵ֗לֶּה [3] Munach Revi'a לַעֲבֹ֛ד [3] Tevir אֶת־נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֥ר מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל [2] Merkha Tip'cha וַעֲבָדֻ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta וְגַ֛ם [3] Tevir אֶת־חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha נָתַ֥תִּי לֽוֹ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁴For the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel says, “I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they will serve him. I have also given him the animals of the field.” ’ ” ¶ [4]
	¹⁵וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יִרְמְיָ֧ה הַנָּבִ֛יא [3] Qadma Darga Tevir אֶל־חֲנַנְיָ֥ה הַנָּבִ֖יא [2] Merkha Tip'cha שְׁמַֽע־נָ֣א חֲנַנְיָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta לֹא־שְׁלָחֲךָ֣ יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וְאַתָּ֗ה [3] Revi'a הִבְטַ֛חְתָּ [3] Tevir אֶת־הָעָ֥ם הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha עַל־שָֽׁקֶר׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁵Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Listen, Hananiah! The LORD has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie. [3]
	¹⁶לָכֵ֗ן [3] Revi'a כֹּ֚ה [3] Yetiv אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef הִנְנִי֙ [3] Pashta מְשַֽׁלֵּחֲךָ֔ [2] Zaqef מֵעַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha פְּנֵ֣י הָאֲדָמָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta הַשָּׁנָה֙ [3] Pashta אַתָּ֣ה מֵ֔ת [2] Munach Zaqef כִּי־סָרָ֥ה דִבַּ֖רְתָּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶל־יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁶Therefore the LORD says, ‘Behold, I will send you away from off the surface of the earth. This year you will die, because you have spoken rebellion against the LORD.’ ” ¶ [3]
	¹⁷וַיָּ֛מׇת [3] Tevir חֲנַנְיָ֥ה הַנָּבִ֖יא [2] Merkha Tip'cha בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה הַהִ֑יא [1] Munach Etnachta בַּחֹ֖דֶשׁ [2] Tip'cha הַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃ [1] Silluq פ		¹⁷So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month. ¶ [3]
