1 Hear please, [2] what the LORD [2] is saying; [1] plead (your) case before the mountains, [2] your voice. [1] |

2 Hear O mountains [3] the case of the LORD, [2] the foundations of the earth; [1] with his people, [2] he will contend. [1] |

4 For I brought you up [3 3] from the land of Egypt, [2] I ransomed you; [1] Moses, [2] Aaron and Miriam. [1] |

5 O my people, [3] remember please [3] what he devised, [3] Balak [3] king of Moab, [2] Balaam the son of Beor; [1] to Gilgal, [2] make known [2] the righteousness of the LORD.” [1] |

7 Will the LORD be pleased [3] with thousands of rams? [2] of rivers of oil? [1] for my transgression? [2] for the sin of my soul? [1] |

11 Shall I be pure [2] with dishonest scales; [1] of deceitful weights? [1] |

12 אֲשֶׁ֤ר עֲשִׁירֶ֙יהָ֙ [3 3] Pashta מָלְא֣וּ חָמָ֔ס [2] Zaqef דִּבְּרוּ־שָׁ֑קֶר [1] Etnachta רְמִיָּ֥ה בְּפִיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
12 Whose wealthy ones, [3 3] they are full of violence, [2] they speak lies; [1] is deceit in their mouth. [1] |

13 Therefore I also, [2] I will make (you) sick by striking you; [1] because of your sins. [1] |

14 You, you will eat, [3] but you will not be satisfied, [2] will be within you; [1] but not preserve, [2] I will give to the sword. [1] |

15 You, you will sow, [2] but you will not reap. [1] but you will not anoint yourself with oil, [2] but you will not drink the wine. [1] |

16 For it has been kept [4] the statutes of Omri, [3] deed of the house of Ahab, [2] in their schemes. [1] into a horror, [3] into hissing, [2] you will bear.” [1] ¶ |
