| 2 אֵ֣ל קַנּ֤וֹא וְנֹקֵם֙ [3] Pashta יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וּבַ֣עַל חֵמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta לְצָרָ֔יו [2] Zaqef לְאֹיְבָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq |
2 A jealous and avenging God [3] is the LORD. [2] and is full of wrath. [1] on his adversaries, [2] against his enemies. [1] |

3 The LORD [3] is slow to anger [3 3] and great in power, [2] he will not leave (the guilty) unpunished. [1] in the whirlwind and in the storm [3] has his way, [2] are the dust of his feet. [1] |

4 Rebuking the sea, [3] he makes it dry, [2] he dries up. [1] and Carmel, [2] it withers. [1] |

5 The mountains, [3] they quake before him, [2] they melt; [1] at his presence, [2] and all who dwell in it. [1] |

6 Before his indignation [3] who can stand? [2] at the burning of his anger? [1] it is poured out like fire, [2] they are pulled down before him. [1] |

7 The LORD is good, [2] a refuge [2] in a day of trouble; [1] those who take refuge in him. [1] |

| 8 וּבְשֶׁ֣טֶף עֹבֵ֔ר [2] Zaqef כָּלָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה מְקוֹמָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta יְרַדֶּף־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Silluq |
8 But with an overflowing flood, [2] complete destruction [2] he will make of her place; [1] he will pursue into darkness. [1] |

| 9 מַה־תְּחַשְּׁבוּן֙ [3] Pashta אֶל־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef ה֣וּא עֹשֶׂ֑ה [1] Etnachta צָרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
9 Whatever you plot [3] against the LORD, [2] he will make (of it). [1] trouble. [1] |

10 For [3] entangled like thorns, [2] drunken; [1] like stubble dried [2] completely. [1] |

| 11 מִמֵּ֣ךְ יָצָ֔א [2] Zaqef חֹשֵׁ֥ב עַל־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha רָעָ֑ה [1] Etnachta בְּלִיָּֽעַל׃ [1] Silluq ס |
11 From you he has come out, [2] one who plots against the LORD [2] evil; [1] worthlessness. [1] § |

| 12 כֹּ֣ה ׀ [4] Legarmeh אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i וְכֵ֣ן רַבִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef וְעָבָ֑ר [1] Etnachta לֹ֥א אֲעַנֵּ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha עֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq |
12 Thus [4] says the LORD, [3] and likewise numerous, [2] and he shall pass away; [1] I will not afflict you [2] anymore. [1] |

| 13 וְעַתָּ֕ה [2] ZaqefG אֶשְׁבֹּ֥ר מֹטֵ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha מֵעָלָ֑יִךְ [1] Etnachta אֲנַתֵּֽק׃ [1] Silluq |
13 And now [2] I will break his yoke [2] from you; [1] I will tear apart.” [1] |

| 14 וְצִוָּ֤ה עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ [3 3] Pashta יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef ע֑וֹד [1] Etnachta אַכְרִ֨ית פֶּ֧סֶל וּמַסֵּכָ֛ה [3] Tevir אָשִׂ֥ים קִבְרֶ֖ךָ [2] Tip'cha כִּ֥י קַלּֽוֹתָ׃ [1] Silluq פ |
14 And he has commanded against you, [3 3] the LORD, [2] anymore. [1] I will cut off idol and molten image. [3] I will make your grave, [2] for you are worthless.” [1] ¶ |
