מיכה 7 Micah 7
1 אַ֣לְלַי לִ֗י [3] Revi'i
כִּ֤י הָיִ֙יתִי֙ [3 3] Pashta
כְּאׇסְפֵּי־קַ֔יִץ [2] Zaqef

כְּעֹלְלֹ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
בָּצִ֑יר [1] Etnachta

אֵין־אֶשְׁכּ֣וֹל לֶאֱכ֔וֹל [2] Zaqef
בִּכּוּרָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
אִוְּתָ֥ה נַפְשִֽׁי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 2 1 Woe to me! [3]
For I have become [3 3]
like one who gathers the summer fruits, [2]

like gleanings [2]
of the grape harvest. [1]

There is not a cluster of grapes to eat. [2]
Early figs [2]
my appetite craves. [1]
2 אָבַ֤ד חָסִיד֙ [3] Pashta
מִן־הָאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef

וְיָשָׁ֥ר בָּאָדָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha

כֻּלָּם֙ [3] Pashta
לְדָמִ֣ים יֶאֱרֹ֔בוּ [2] Zaqef

אִ֥ישׁ אֶת־אָחִ֖יהוּ [2] Tip'cha
יָצ֥וּדוּ חֵֽרֶם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 2 The faithful has perished [3]
from the land, [2]

and an upright one among men, [2]
there is none. [1]

All of them, [3]
they lie in wait for blood, [2]

each one his brother [2]
they hunt with a net. [1]
3 עַל־הָרַ֤ע כַּפַּ֙יִם֙ [3 3] Pashta
לְהֵיטִ֔יב [2] Zaqef

הַשַּׂ֣ר שֹׁאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef

דֹּבֵ֨ר הַוַּ֥ת נַפְשׁ֛וֹ [3] Tevir

וַֽיְעַבְּתֽוּהָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 3 3 3 On that which is evil are both hands, [3 3]
to do it diligently. [2]

The official asks, [2]
and the judge [2]
for a bribe; [1]

and the powerful one, [3]
speaking the evil desire of his soul [3]
is he, [2]
so they conspire together. [1]
4 טוֹבָ֣ם כְּחֵ֔דֶק [2] Zaqef
יָשָׁ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
מִמְּסוּכָ֑ה [1] Etnachta

מְבוּכָתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 4 The best of them is like a thorn-bush. [2]
The most upright [2]
is worse than a thorn hedge. [1]

The day of your watchmen, [3 3]
your punishment has come, [2]

now it will be [2]
their confusion. [1]
5 אַל־תַּאֲמִ֣ינֽוּ בְרֵ֔עַ [2] Zaqef
אַֽל־תִּבְטְח֖וּ [2] Tip'cha

מִשֹּׁכֶ֣בֶת חֵיקֶ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef
שְׁמֹ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
פִּתְחֵי־פִֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 2 5 Do not trust in a neighbor. [2]
Do not put confidence [2]
in a close friend. [1]

From the woman who lies in your embrace, [2]
guard [2]
the words of your mouth! [1]

אֹיְבֵ֥י אִ֖ישׁ [2] Tip'cha
אַנְשֵׁ֥י בֵיתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 6 For a son [3]
dishonors a father, [2]

a daughter [3]
rises up against her mother, [2]

a daughter-in-law [2]
against her mother-in-law; [1]

the enemies of a man [2]
are the people of his own household. [1]
7 וַֽאֲנִי֙ [3] Pashta

יִשְׁמָעֵ֖נִי [2] Tip'cha
אֱלֹהָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 7 But as for me, [3]
I will look to the LORD, [2]

I will wait [2]
for the God of my salvation; [1]

he will hear me, [2]
my God. [1]
8 אַֽל־תִּשְׂמְחִ֤י אֹיַ֙בְתִּי֙ [3 3] Pashta

פ
1 2 3 2 2 2 8 Do not rejoice O my enemy [3 3]
over me, [2]

for though I have fallen, [2]
I will arise. [1]

When I sit in darkness, [2]
the LORD [2]
will be my light. [1]
9 זַ֤עַף יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta

יוֹצִיאֵ֣נִי לָא֔וֹר [2] Zaqef
אֶרְאֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
בְּצִדְקָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 2 9 The indignation of the LORD [3]
I will bear, [2]

for I have sinned [2]
against him; [1]

until he pleads my case, [3]
and he executes justice for me. [2]

He will bring me out to the light. [2]
I will look [2]
on his righteousness. [1]
10 וְתֵרֶ֤א אֹיַ֙בְתִּי֙ [3 3] Pashta
וּתְכַסֶּ֣הָ בוּשָׁ֔ה [2] Zaqef

כְּטִ֥יט חוּצֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 3 2 3 10 Then my enemy will see, [3 3]
and shame will cover her, [2]

who said to me, [2]
where is he, [2]
the LORD your God? [1]

My eyes, [3]
they will look on her. [2]

Now [3]
she will become a trampling place, [2]
like the mud of the streets. [1]
11 י֖וֹם [2] Tip'cha

1 2 3 2 2 3 2 12 In that day [3]
they will come to you, [2]

from Assyria [2]
and the cities of Egypt; [1]

and from Egypt [3]
even to the River, [2]

and from sea to sea [2]
and mountain to mountain. [1]
