| 1 לְאָדָ֥ם מַעַרְכֵי־לֵ֑ב [2] Etnachta  מַעֲנֵ֥ה לָשֽׁוֹן׃ [1] Silluq  | 
1 The plans of the heart belong to a man; [2]  is the answer of the tongue. [1]  |

| 2 כׇּֽל־דַּרְכֵי־אִ֭ישׁ [3] Dechi  זַ֣ךְ בְּעֵינָ֑יו [2] Etnachta יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq  | 
2 All the ways of a man [3]  are pure in his own eyes; [2] the LORD. [1]  |

| 3 גֹּ֣ל אֶל־יְהֹוָ֣ה [3] VDechi  מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ [2] Etnachta מַחְשְׁבֹתֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
3 Commit to the LORD [3]  your works; [2] your plans. [1]  |

| 4 כֹּ֤ל פָּעַ֣ל יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi  לַֽמַּעֲנֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta לְי֣וֹם רָעָֽה׃ [1] Silluq  | 
4 The LORD has made everything [3]  for its own purpose; [2] for a day of trouble. [1]  |

| 5 תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi  כׇּל־גְּבַהּ־לֵ֑ב [2] Etnachta לֹ֣א יִנָּקֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq  | 
5 An abomination to the LORD [3]  is every person who is proud in heart; [2] he shall not go unpunished. [1]  |

| 6 בְּחֶ֣סֶד וֶ֭אֱמֶת [3] Dechi  יְכֻפַּ֣ר עָוֺ֑ן [2] Etnachta ס֣וּר מֵרָֽע׃ [1] Silluq  | 
6 By mercy and faithfulness [3]  iniquity is atoned for; [2] is the turning aside from evil. [1]  |

| 7 בִּרְצ֣וֹת יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi  דַּרְכֵי־אִ֑ישׁ [2] Etnachta יַשְׁלִ֥ם אִתּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
7 When the LORD is pleased with [3]  the ways of a person; [2] he makes to be at peace with him. [1]  |

| 8 טוֹב־מְ֭עַט [3] Dechi  בִּצְדָקָ֑ה [2] Etnachta בְּלֹ֣א מִשְׁפָּֽט׃ [1] Silluq  | 
8 Better is a little [3]  with righteousness; [2] without justice. [1]  |

| 9 לֵ֣ב אָ֭דָם [3] Dechi  יְחַשֵּׁ֣ב דַּרְכּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta יָכִ֥ין צַעֲדֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
9 The heart of a man, [3]  it plans his course; [2] he directs his steps. [1]  |

| 10 קֶ֤סֶם ׀ [4/3] Mahpakh Legarmeh  עַֽל־שִׂפְתֵי־מֶ֑לֶךְ [2] Etnachta לֹ֣א יִמְעַל־פִּֽיו׃ [1] Silluq  | 
10 Inspired judgments [4/3]  are on the lips of a king; [2] he shall not betray his mouth. [1]  |

| 11 פֶּ֤לֶס ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh  וּמֹאזְנֵ֣י מִ֭שְׁפָּט [3] Dechi לַיהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta כׇּל־אַבְנֵי־כִֽיס׃ [1] Silluq  | 
11 Scales [4]  and honest balances [3] belong to the LORD; [2] are all the weights in the bag. [1]  |

| 12 תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת מְ֭לָכִים [3] Dechi  עֲשׂ֣וֹת רֶ֑שַׁע [2] Etnachta יִכּ֥וֹן כִּסֵּֽא׃ [1] Silluq  | 
12 It is an abomination for kings [3]  to do wickedness; [2] a throne is established. [1]  |

| 13 רְצ֣וֹן מְ֭לָכִים [3] Dechi  שִׂפְתֵי־צֶ֑דֶק [2] Etnachta יֶאֱהָֽב׃ [1] Silluq  | 
13 The delight of kings [3]  are righteous lips; [2] he loves. [1]  |

| 14 חֲמַת־מֶ֥לֶךְ מַלְאֲכֵי־מָ֑וֶת [2] Etnachta  יְכַפְּרֶֽנָּה׃ [1] Silluq  | 
14 The wrath of a king is a messenger of death; [2]  will pacify it. [1]  |

| 15 בְּאוֹר־פְּנֵי־מֶ֥לֶךְ חַיִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta  כְּעָ֣ב מַלְקֽוֹשׁ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
15 In the light of the face of a king is life; [2]  is like a cloud of spring rain. [1]  |

| 16 קְֽנֹה־חׇכְמָ֗ה [3] Revi'i  מַה־טּ֥וֹב מֵחָר֑וּץ [2] Etnachta נִבְחָ֥ר מִכָּֽסֶף׃ [1] Silluq  | 
16 To gain wisdom, [3]  how much better than gold; [2] to be chosen over silver. [1]  |

| 17 מְסִלַּ֣ת יְ֭שָׁרִים [3] Dechi  ס֣וּר מֵרָ֑ע [2] Etnachta נֹצֵ֥ר דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
17 The highway of the upright [3]  is to turn aside from evil; [2] the one who guards his way. [1]  |

| 18 לִפְנֵי־שֶׁ֥בֶר גָּא֑וֹן [2] Etnachta  גֹּ֣בַהּ רֽוּחַ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
18 Before destruction is pride; [2]  is an arrogant spirit. [1]  |

| 19 ט֣וֹב שְׁפַל־ר֭וּחַ [3] Dechi  אֶת־*עניים **עֲנָוִ֑ים [2] Etnachta אֶת־גֵּאִֽים׃ [1] Silluq  | 
19 It is better to be of a lowly spirit [3]  with the poor; [2] with the proud. [1]  |

| 20 מַשְׂכִּ֣יל עַל־דָּ֭בָר [3] Dechi  יִמְצָא־ט֑וֹב [2] Etnachta אַשְׁרָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq  | 
20 The one who pays attention to the word, [3]  he finds prosperity; [2] how blessed is he. [1]  |

| 21 לַֽחֲכַם־לֵ֭ב [3] Dechi  יִקָּרֵ֣א נָב֑וֹן [2] Etnachta יֹסִ֥יף לֶֽקַח׃ [1] Silluq  | 
21 The wise in heart [3]  shall be called prudent; [2] increases persuasiveness. [1]  |

| 22 מְק֣וֹר חַ֭יִּים [3] Dechi  שֵׂ֣כֶל בְּעָלָ֑יו [2] Etnachta אִוֶּֽלֶת׃ [1] Silluq  | 
22 A fountain of life, [3]  is understanding to the one who has it; [2] is foolishness. [1]  |

| 23 לֵ֣ב חָ֭כָם [3] Dechi  יַשְׂכִּ֣יל פִּ֑יהוּ [2] Etnachta יֹסִ֥יף לֶֽקַח׃ [1] Silluq  | 
23 The heart of the wise [3]  instructs his mouth; [2] it adds persuasiveness. [1]  |

| 24 צוּף־דְּ֭בַשׁ [3] Dechi  אִמְרֵי־נֹ֑עַם [2] Etnachta וּמַרְפֵּ֥א לָעָֽצֶם׃ [1] Silluq  | 
24 A honeycomb [3]  is words of kindness; [2] and healing to the bones. [1]  |

| 25 יֵ֤שׁ דֶּ֣רֶךְ יָ֭שָׁר [3] Dechi  לִפְנֵי־אִ֑ישׁ [2] Etnachta דַּרְכֵי־מָֽוֶת׃ [1] Silluq  | 
25 There is a way which seems straight [3]  before a person; [2] is the way of death. [1]  |

| 26 נֶ֣פֶשׁ עָ֭מֵל [3] Dechi  עָ֣מְלָה לּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta פִּֽיהוּ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
26 The appetite of a laborer, [3]  it labors for him; [2] his mouth. [1]  |

| 27 אִ֣ישׁ בְּ֭לִיַּעַל [3] Dechi  כֹּרֶ֣ה רָעָ֑ה [2] Etnachta כְּאֵ֣שׁ צָרָֽבֶת׃ [1] Silluq  | 
27 A worthless person [3]  digs up evil; [2] is like a scorching fire. [1]  |

| 28 אִ֣ישׁ תַּ֭הְפֻּכוֹת [3] Dechi  יְשַׁלַּ֣ח מָד֑וֹן [2] Etnachta מַפְרִ֥יד אַלּֽוּף׃ [1] Silluq  | 
28 A perverse person [3]  stirs up strife; [2] separates close friends. [1]  |

| 29 אִ֣ישׁ חָ֭מָס [3] Dechi  יְפַתֶּ֣ה רֵעֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ לֹא־טֽוֹב׃ [1] Silluq  | 
29 A person of violence, [3]  he deceives his neighbor; [2] in a way that is not good. [1]  |

| 30 עֹצֶ֣ה עֵ֭ינָיו [3] Dechi  לַחְשֹׁ֣ב תַּהְפֻּכ֑וֹת [2] Etnachta כִּלָּ֥ה רָעָֽה׃ [1] Silluq  | 
30 One who winks his eyes [3]  plots perverse things; [2] is bent on evil. [1]  |

| 31 עֲטֶ֣רֶת תִּפְאֶ֣רֶת [3] VDechi  שֵׂיבָ֑ה [2] Etnachta תִּמָּצֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq  | 
31 A crown of glory [3]  is gray hair; [2] it is attained. [1]  |

| 32 ט֤וֹב אֶ֣רֶךְ אַ֭פַּיִם [3] Dechi  מִגִּבּ֑וֹר [2] Etnachta מִלֹּכֵ֥ד עִֽיר׃ [1] Silluq  | 
32 Better is one who is slow to anger, [3]  than a warrior; [2] than one who captures a city. [1]  |

| 33 בַּ֭חֵיק [3] Dechi  יוּטַ֣ל אֶת־הַגּוֹרָ֑ל [2] Etnachta כׇּל־מִשְׁפָּטֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
33 Into the lap, [3]  the lot is cast; [2] is its every decision. [1]  |
