לְדָוִ֣ד מִזְמ֑וֹר [2] Etnachta
 
1b אֱלֹהֵ֥י תְ֝הִלָּתִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַֽל־תֶּחֱרַֽשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 To the choirmaster, [3]
of David, a Psalm; [2]
 
1 O God of my praise, [2]
do not be silent, [1]
2 כִּ֤י פִ֪י רָשָׁ֡ע [4] Pazer
וּֽפִי־מִ֭רְמָה [3] Dechi
עָלַ֣י פָּתָ֑חוּ [2] Etnachta
 
דִּבְּר֥וּ אִ֝תִּ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְשׁ֣וֹן שָֽׁקֶר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 2 for the mouth of the wicked [4]
and a mouth of deceit, [3]
against me they have opened; [2]
 
they have spoken with me [2]
a lying tongue. [1]
3 וְדִבְרֵ֣י שִׂנְאָ֣ה [3] VDechi
סְבָב֑וּנִי [2] Etnachta
 
וַיִּֽלָּחֲמ֥וּנִי חִנָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 With words of hatred [3]
they have surrounded me; [2]
 
and they have fought against me without cause. [1]
4 תַּֽחַת־אַהֲבָתִ֥י יִשְׂטְנ֗וּנִי [3/2] Revi'i
וַאֲנִ֥י תְפִלָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 4 In place of my love they accuse me, [3/2]
and I am in prayer. [1]
5 וַיָּ֘שִׂ֤ימוּ עָלַ֣י רָ֭עָה [3] Dechi
תַּ֣חַת טוֹבָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝שִׂנְאָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תַּ֣חַת אַהֲבָתִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 And they have put on me evil [3]
in place of good; [2]
 
and hatred [2]
in place of my love. [1]
6 הַפְקֵ֣ד עָלָ֣יו [3] VDechi
רָשָׁ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝שָׂטָ֗ן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יַעֲמֹ֥ד עַל־יְמִינֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 Appoint over him [3]
a wicked man; [2]
 
and an accuser, [2]
let him stand at his right hand. [1]
7 בְּ֭הִשָּׁ֣פְטוֹ [3] Dechi
יֵצֵ֣א רָשָׁ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝תְפִלָּת֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תִּֽהְיֶ֥ה לַחֲטָאָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 When he is judged, [3]
let him come forth guilty; [2]
 
and his prayer, [2]
let it become sin. [1]
8 יִֽהְיוּ־יָמָ֥יו מְעַטִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
פְּ֝קֻדָּת֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִקַּ֥ח אַחֵֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 8 May his days be few; [2]
 
his office [2]
may another take. [1]
9 יִֽהְיוּ־בָנָ֥יו יְתוֹמִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַלְמָנָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 9 May his children be fatherless; [2]
 
and his wife [2]
a widow. [1]
10 וְנ֤וֹעַ יָנ֣וּעוּ בָנָ֣יו [3] VDechi
וְשִׁאֵ֑לוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝דָרְשׁ֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מֵחׇרְבֽוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 And may his children continually wander [3]
and beg; [2]
 
and search [2]
from their ruins. [1]
11 יְנַקֵּ֣שׁ נ֭וֹשֶׁה [3] Dechi
לְכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־ל֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְיָבֹ֖זּוּ זָרִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
יְגִיעֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 May a creditor seize [3]
all that he has; [2]
 
and may strangers plunder [2]
his property. [1]
12 אַל־יְהִי־ל֭וֹ [3] Dechi
מֹשֵׁ֣ךְ חָ֑סֶד [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽאַל־יְהִ֥י ח֝וֹנֵ֗ן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לִֽיתוֹמָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 Let him not have [3]
anyone to extend kindness; [2]
 
and let there not be anyone to have pity [2]
on his fatherless children. [1]
13 יְהִֽי־אַחֲרִית֥וֹ לְהַכְרִ֑ית [2] Etnachta
 
בְּד֥וֹר אַ֝חֵ֗ר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִמַּ֥ח שְׁמָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 13 May his posterity be cut off; [2]
 
in another generation [2]
may their name be blotted out. [1]
14 יִזָּכֵ֤ר ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
עֲוֺ֣ן אֲ֭בֹתָיו [3] Dechi
אֶל־יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְחַטַּ֥את אִ֝מּ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַל־תִּמָּֽח׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 14 May it be remembered, [4]
the iniquity of his fathers [3]
by the LORD; [2]
 
and the sin of his mother, [2]
may it not be blotted out. [1]
15 יִהְי֣וּ נֶגֶד־יְהֹוָ֣ה [3] VDechi
תָּמִ֑יד [2] Etnachta
 
וְיַכְרֵ֖ת מֵאֶ֣רֶץ [2] VRevMug
זִכְרָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 Let them be before the LORD [3]
continually; [2]
 
and may he cut off from the earth [2]
their memory, [1]
16 יַ֗עַן [3] Revi'i
 
אֲשֶׁ֤ר ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
לֹ֥א זָכַר֮ [3] Sinnor
עֲשׂ֢וֹת חָ֥֫סֶד [2] Ole Veyored
 
וַיִּרְדֹּ֡ף [4] Pazer
אִישׁ־עָנִ֣י וְ֭אֶבְיוֹן [3] Dechi
וְנִכְאֵ֨ה לֵבָ֬ב [2] VRevMug
לְמוֹתֵֽת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 4 2 3 4 16 given [3]
 
that [4]
he didn’t remember [3]
to show kindness; [2]
 
but he persecuted [4]
the poor and needy one [3]
and broken of heart, [2]
to put them to death. [1]
17 וַיֶּאֱהַ֣ב קְ֭לָלָה [3] Dechi
וַתְּבוֹאֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽלֹא־חָפֵ֥ץ בִּ֝בְרָכָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וַתִּרְחַ֥ק מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 And he loved a curse, [3]
and it came to him; [2]
 
and he didn’t delight in blessing, [2]
and it was far from him. [1]
18 וַיִּלְבַּ֥שׁ קְלָלָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
כְּמַ֫דּ֥וֹ [2] Ole Veyored
 
וַתָּבֹ֣א כַמַּ֣יִם [3] VDechi
בְּקִרְבּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝כַשֶּׁ֗מֶן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּעַצְמוֹתָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 2 18 And he put on a curse [3]
like his garment; [2]
 
and it went like water [3]
into his inward parts, [2]
 
and like oil [2]
into his bones. [1]
19 תְּהִי־ל֭וֹ [3] Dechi
כְּבֶ֣גֶד יַעְטֶ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝לְמֵ֗זַח [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תָּמִ֥יד יַחְגְּרֶֽהָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 May it be for him [3]
like a garment with which he wraps himself; [2]
 
and a waistband [2]
that is always around him. [1]
20 זֹ֤את פְּעֻלַּ֣ת שֹׂ֭טְנַי [3] Dechi
מֵאֵ֣ת יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְהַדֹּבְרִ֥ים רָ֝֗ע [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־נַפְשִֽׁי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 20 This be the wages of those who accuse me, [3]
from the LORD; [2]
 
and of those who speak evil [2]
against my soul. [1]
21 וְאַתָּ֤ה ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
יֱ֘הֹוִ֤ה אֲדֹנָ֗י [3] Revi'i
 
עֲֽשֵׂה־אִ֭תִּי [3] Dechi
לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
כִּי־ט֥וֹב חַ֝סְדְּךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הַצִּילֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 21 But you [4]
O GOD my Lord, [3]
 
deal with me [3]
for the sake of your name; [2]
 
because good is your lovingkindness, [2]
deliver me, [1]
22 כִּי־עָנִ֣י וְאֶבְי֣וֹן [3] VDechi
אָנֹ֑כִי [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝לִבִּ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
חָלַ֥ל בְּקִרְבִּֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 for poor and needy [3]
am I; [2]
 
and my heart [2]
has been pierced within me. [1]
23 כְּצֵל־כִּנְטוֹת֥וֹ נֶהֱלָ֑כְתִּי [2] Etnachta
 
נִ֝נְעַ֗רְתִּי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כָּאַרְבֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 23 Like a shadow just as it stretches out, I have vanished; [2]
 
I have been shaken off [2]
like a locust. [1]
24 בִּ֭רְכַּי [3] Dechi
כָּשְׁל֣וּ מִצּ֑וֹם [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְשָׂרִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כָּחַ֥שׁ מִשָּֽׁמֶן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 24 My knees, [3]
they are weak from fasting; [2]
 
and my flesh, [2]
it is thin, lacking fatness. [1]
25 וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
הָיִ֣יתִי חֶרְפָּ֣ה [3] VDechi
לָהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
יִ֝רְא֗וּנִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְנִיע֥וּן רֹאשָֽׁם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 25 And I, [4]
I have become a reproach [3]
to them; [2]
 
when they see me, [2]
they shake their head. [1]
26 עׇ֭זְרֵנִי [3] Dechi
יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
ה֖וֹשִׁיעֵ֣נִי [2] VRevMug
כְחַסְדֶּֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 26 Help me [3]
O LORD my God; [2]
 
save me [2]
according to your lovingkindness, [1]
27 וְֽ֭יֵדְעוּ [3] Dechi
כִּי־יָ֣דְךָ זֹּ֑את [2] Etnachta
 
אַתָּ֖ה יְהֹוָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
עֲשִׂיתָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 27 that they may know [3]
that this is your hand; [2]
 
you O LORD, [2]
you have done it. [1]
28 יְקַֽלְלוּ־הֵמָּה֮ [3] Sinnor
וְאַתָּ֢ה תְבָ֫רֵ֥ךְ [2] Ole Veyored
 
קָ֤מוּ ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
וַיֵּבֹ֗שׁוּ [3/2] Revi'i
וְֽעַבְדְּךָ֥ יִשְׂמָֽח׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 28 They will curse, they [3]
but you, you will bless; [2]
 
when they arise [4]
they will be ashamed, [3/2]
but your servant, he shall rejoice. [1]
29 יִלְבְּשׁ֣וּ שׂוֹטְנַ֣י [3] VDechi
כְּלִמָּ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְיַעֲט֖וּ כַמְעִ֣יל [2] VRevMug
בׇּשְׁתָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 29 May my accusers be clothed [3]
with dishonor; [2]
 
and may they be covered as with a robe [2]
by their shame. [1]
30 א֘וֹדֶ֤ה יְהֹוָ֣ה מְאֹ֣ד [3] VDechi
בְּפִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וּבְת֖וֹךְ רַבִּ֣ים [2] VRevMug
אֲהַלְלֶֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 30 I will give great thanks to the LORD [3]
with my mouth; [2]
 
and among many people [2]
I will praise him. [1]
31 כִּֽי־יַ֭עֲמֹד [3] Dechi
לִימִ֣ין אֶבְי֑וֹן [2] Etnachta
 
לְ֝הוֹשִׁ֗יעַ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִשֹּׁפְטֵ֥י נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

at the right hand of the needy; [2]
 
to save him [2]
from those who judge his soul. [1]
