1 לָמָ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
תַּֽעֲמֹ֣ד בְּרָח֑וֹק [2] Etnachta
 
תַּ֝עְלִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְעִתּ֥וֹת בַּצָּרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 Why O LORD [3]
do you stand far off; [2]
 
do you hide [2]
in times of trouble? [1]
2 בְּגַאֲוַ֣ת רָ֭שָׁע [3] Dechi
יִדְלַ֣ק עָנִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
יִתָּֽפְשׂ֓וּ ׀ [2] ShalsheletG
בִּמְזִמּ֖וֹת ז֣וּ [2] VRevMug
חָשָֽׁבוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 2 In pride the wicked, [3]
he hotly pursues the weak; [2]
 
let them be caught [2]
by the schemes which [2]
they have planned. [1]
3 כִּֽי־הִלֵּ֣ל רָ֭שָׁע [3] Dechi
עַל־תַּאֲוַ֣ת נַפְשׁ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וּבֹצֵ֥עַ בֵּ֝רֵ֗ךְ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נִ֘אֵ֥ץ ׀ יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 For the wicked boasts [3]
of his heart’s cravings; [2]
 
he blesses the one greedy for gain, [2]
he despises the LORD. [1]
4 רָשָׁ֗ע [3] Revi'i
כְּגֹ֣בַהּ אַ֭פּוֹ [3] Dechi
בַּל־יִדְרֹ֑שׁ [2] Etnachta
 
אֵ֥ין אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־מְזִמּוֹתָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 4 The wicked, [3]
turning up his nose [3]
doesn't seek things out; [2]
 
there is no room for God [2]
in any of his thoughts. [1]
5 יָ֘חִ֤ילוּ דְרָכָ֨ו ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
בְּכׇל־עֵ֗ת [3] Revi'i
 
מָר֣וֹם מִ֭שְׁפָּטֶיךָ [3] Dechi
מִנֶּגְדּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
כׇּל־צ֝וֹרְרָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָפִ֥יחַ בָּהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 5 His ways are prosperous [4]
at all times, [3]
 
haughtily your judgments [3]
he disregards; [2]
 
all his adversaries, [2]
he sneers at them. [1]
6 אָמַ֣ר בְּ֭לִבּוֹ [3] Dechi
בַּל־אֶמּ֑וֹט [2] Etnachta
 
לְדֹ֥ר וָ֝דֹ֗ר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־בְרָֽע׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 He says in his heart, [3]
“I will not be shaken; [2]
 
from generation to generation, [2]
(being) the one who shall have no trouble.” [1]
7 אָלָ֤ה ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
פִּ֣יהוּ מָ֭לֵא [3] Dechi
וּמִרְמ֣וֹת וָתֹ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
תַּ֥חַת לְ֝שׁוֹנ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עָמָ֥ל וָאָֽוֶן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 7 A curse [4]
his mouth is filled with, [3]
and deceit and oppression; [2]
 
under his tongue [2]
are mischief and wickedness. [1]
8 יֵשֵׁ֤ב ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
בְּמַאְרַ֬ב חֲצֵרִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
 
בַּֽ֭מִּסְתָּרִים [3] Dechi
יַהֲרֹ֣ג נָקִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
עֵ֝ינָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְֽחֵלְכָ֥ה יִצְפֹּֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq

in ambush near villages, [3]
 
in hidden places [3]
he kills the innocent; [2]
 
his eyes [2]
watch in secret for the helpless. [1]
9 יֶאֱרֹ֬ב בַּמִּסְתָּ֨ר ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
כְּאַרְיֵ֬ה בְסֻכֹּ֗ה [3] Revi'i
 
יֶ֭אֱרֹב [3] Dechi
לַחֲט֣וֹף עָנִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
יַחְטֹ֥ף עָ֝נִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּמׇשְׁכ֥וֹ בְרִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 9 He lies in wait in the hiding place [4]
like a lion in its den, [3]
 
he lies in wait [3]
to seize the helpless; [2]
 
he seizes the helpless [2]
when he draws in his net. [1]
10 *ודכה **יִדְכֶּ֥ה יָשֹׁ֑חַ [2] Etnachta
 
וְנָפַ֥ל בַּ֝עֲצוּמָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
*חלכאים **חֵ֣ל **כָּאִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 10 He crouches, he bows down; [2]
 
and [he falls / they fall] into his mighty claws, [2]
an army of broken people. [1]
11 אָמַ֣ר בְּ֭לִבּוֹ [3] Dechi
שָׁ֣כַֽח אֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta
 
הִסְתִּ֥יר פָּ֝נָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּל־רָאָ֥ה לָנֶֽצַח׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 He says in his heart, [3]
“God has forgotten; [2]
 
he hides his face, [2]
he will never see it.” [1]
12 קוּמָ֤ה יְהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
אֵ֭ל [3] Dechi
נְשָׂ֣א יָדֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
אַל־תִּשְׁכַּ֥ח *עניים **עֲנָוִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 12 Arise O LORD! [3]
O God [3]
lift up your hand! [2]
 
Don’t forget the helpless. [1]
13 עַל־מֶ֤ה ׀ [4/3] Mahpakh Legarmeh
נִאֵ֖ץ רָשָׁ֥ע ׀ אֱלֹהִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
אָמַ֥ר בְּ֝לִבּ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א תִדְרֹֽשׁ׃ [1] Silluq

has the wicked rejected God? [2]
 
He says in his heart, [2]
“You will not find out.” [1]
14 רָאִ֡תָה [4] Pazer
כִּי־אַתָּ֤ה ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
עָ֘מָ֤ל וָכַ֨עַס ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
תַּבִּיט֮ [3] Sinnor
 
לָתֵ֢ת בְּיָ֫דֶ֥ךָ [2] Ole Veyored
 
עָ֭לֶיךָ [3] Dechi
יַעֲזֹ֣ב חֵלֵ֑כָה [2] Etnachta
 
יָ֝ת֗וֹם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַתָּ֤ה ׀ [4/2] Mahpakh Legarmeh
הָיִ֬יתָ עוֹזֵֽר׃ [1] Silluq

you indeed, [4]
mischief and grief [4]
you notice, [3]
 
to take it into your hands; [2]
 
on you [3]
the victim leaves himself, [2]
 
the fatherless, [2]
you, [4/2]
you are the one who helps. [1]
15 שְׁ֭בֹר [3] Dechi
זְר֣וֹעַ רָשָׁ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
וָ֝רָ֗ע [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תִּֽדְרוֹשׁ־רִשְׁע֥וֹ בַל־תִּמְצָֽא׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 Break [3]
the arm of the wicked; [2]
 
the one who is evil, [2]
seek out his wickedness until you find none. [1]
16 יְהֹוָ֣ה מֶ֭לֶךְ [3] Dechi
עוֹלָ֣ם וָעֶ֑ד [2] Etnachta
 
אָבְד֥וּ ג֝וֹיִ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 The LORD is King [3]
forever and ever; [2]
 
the nations will perish [2]
from his land. [1]
17 תַּאֲוַ֬ת עֲנָוִ֣ים שָׁמַ֣עְתָּ [3] VDechi
יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
תָּכִ֥ין לִ֝בָּ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תַּקְשִׁ֥יב אׇזְנֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 The desire of the humble you have heard [3]
O LORD; [2]
 
you strengthen their heart, [2]
you make your ear hear, [1]
18 לִשְׁפֹּ֥ט יָת֗וֹם [3] Revi'i
וָ֫דָ֥ךְ [2] Ole Veyored
 
בַּל־יוֹסִ֥יף ע֑וֹד [2] Etnachta
לַעֲרֹ֥ץ אֱ֝נ֗וֹשׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִן־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq

and the oppressed; [2]
 
that he may no longer [2]
cause terror, man [2]
who is of the earth. [1]
