נָשָׂ֣אתִי אֶת־עֵינַ֑י [2] Munach Etnachta

בַּשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq

1 To you [3]
I lift up my eyes, [2]
 
(to) the one who sits [2]
in the heavens. [1]
2 הִנֵּ֨ה כְעֵינֵ֪י עֲבָדִ֡ים [4] Azla Galgal Pazer
אֶל־יַ֤ד אֲֽדוֹנֵיהֶ֗ם [3] Mapakh Revi'a
 
כְּעֵינֵ֣י שִׁפְחָה֮ [3] Munach Sinnor
אֶל־יַ֢ד גְּבִ֫רְתָּ֥הּ [2] AtnachH OleVeyored
 
כֵּ֣ן עֵ֭ינֵינוּ [3] Munach Dechi
אֶל־יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ [2] Munach Etnachta

שֶׁיְּחׇנֵּֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq

are to the hand of their master, [3]
 
as the eyes of a maid [3]
to the hand of her mistress; [2]
 
so our eyes [3]
are to the LORD our God, [2]

he has mercy on us. [1]

have we endured contempt. [1]
