1 הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
שִׁ֣ירוּ לַֽ֭יהֹוָה [3] Dechi
שִׁ֣יר חָדָ֑שׁ [2] Etnachta
 
תְּ֝הִלָּת֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בִּקְהַ֥ל חֲסִידִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 1 Praise the LORD! [4]
Sing to the LORD [3]
a new song; [2]
 
his praise [2]
in the assembly of the faithful. [1]
2 יִשְׂמַ֣ח יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל [3] VDechi
בְּעֹשָׂ֑יו [2] Etnachta
 
בְּנֵֽי־צִ֝יּ֗וֹן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָגִ֥ילוּ בְמַלְכָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 Let Israel rejoice [3]
in its maker; [2]
 
the children of Zion, [2]
let them be glad in their King. [1]
3 יְהַלְל֣וּ שְׁמ֣וֹ [3] VDechi
בְמָח֑וֹל [2] Etnachta
 
בְּתֹ֥ף וְ֝כִנּ֗וֹר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְזַמְּרוּ־לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 Let them praise his name [3]
with dancing; [2]
 
with tambourine and harp [2]
let them make music to him! [1]
4 כִּֽי־רוֹצֶ֣ה יְהֹוָ֣ה [3] VDechi
בְּעַמּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
יְפָאֵ֥ר עֲ֝נָוִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בִּישׁוּעָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 For the LORD takes pleasure [3]
in his people; [2]
 
he glorifies the humble [2]
with salvation. [1]
5 יַעְלְז֣וּ חֲסִידִ֣ים [3] VDechi
בְּכָב֑וֹד [2] Etnachta
 
יְ֝רַנְּנ֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 Let the faithful rejoice [3]
in honor; [2]
 
let them sing for joy [2]
on their beds. [1]
6 רוֹמְמ֣וֹת אֵ֭ל [3] Dechi
בִּגְרוֹנָ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
וְחֶ֖רֶב פִּיפִיּ֣וֹת [2] VRevMug
בְּיָדָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 May the high praises of God [3]
be in their mouths; [2]
 
and a two-edged sword [2]
in their hand, [1]
7 לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת נְ֭קָמָה [3] Dechi
בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
תּ֝וֹכֵח֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּלְאֻמִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 to execute vengeance [3]
on the nations; [2]
 
punishments [2]
on the peoples, [1]
8 לֶאְסֹ֣ר מַלְכֵיהֶ֣ם [3] VDechi
בְּזִקִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝נִכְבְּדֵיהֶ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּכַבְלֵ֥י בַרְזֶֽל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 to bind their kings [3]
with chains; [2]
 
and their nobles [2]
with shackles of iron, [1]
9 לַעֲשׂ֤וֹת בָּהֶ֨ם ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
מִשְׁפָּ֬ט כָּת֗וּב [3] Revi'i
 
הָדָ֣ר ה֭וּא [3] Dechi
לְכׇל־חֲסִידָ֗יו [3/2] Revi'i
 
הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq

the written judgment, [3]
 
an honor it is [3]
