אוֹרִ֣י וְ֭יִשְׁעִי [3] Dechi
מִמִּ֣י אִירָ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
יְהֹוָ֥ה מָעוֹז־חַ֝יַּ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִמִּ֥י אֶפְחָֽד׃ [1] Silluq

1 The LORD [4]
is my light and my salvation, [3]
whom shall I fear; [2]
 
the LORD is the refuge of my life, [2]
whom shall I dread? [1]
2 בִּקְרֹ֤ב עָלַ֨י ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
מְרֵעִים֮ [3] Sinnor
לֶאֱכֹ֢ל אֶת־בְּשָׂ֫רִ֥י [2] Ole Veyored
 
צָרַ֣י וְאֹיְבַ֣י [3] VDechi
לִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
הֵ֖מָּה כָשְׁל֣וּ [2] VRevMug
וְנָפָֽלוּ׃ [1] Silluq

evildoers [3]
to devour my flesh; [2]
 
my adversaries and my enemies, [3]
to me, [2]
 
they, they stumbled [2]
and they fell. [1]
3 אִם־תַּחֲנֶ֬ה עָלַ֨י ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
מַחֲנֶה֮ [3] Sinnor
לֹא־יִירָ֢א לִ֫בִּ֥י [2] Ole Veyored
 
אִם־תָּק֣וּם עָ֭לַי [3] Dechi
מִלְחָמָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
בְּ֝זֹ֗את [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֲנִ֣י בוֹטֵֽחַ׃ [1] Silluq

an army, [3]
my heart shall not fear; [2]
 
though it should arise against me [3]
warfare, [2]
 
in this [2]
will I be confident, [1]
4 אַחַ֤ת ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
שָׁאַ֣לְתִּי מֵֽאֵת־יְהֹוָה֮ [3] Sinnor
אוֹתָ֢הּ אֲבַ֫קֵּ֥שׁ [2] Ole Veyored
 
שִׁבְתִּ֣י בְּבֵית־יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
כׇּל־יְמֵ֣י חַיַּ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
לַחֲז֥וֹת בְּנֹעַם־יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וּלְבַקֵּ֥ר בְּהֵֽיכָלֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

I have asked from the LORD, [3]
this will I seek; [2]
 
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD [3]
all the days of my life, [2]
 
to look on the kindness of the LORD [2]
and to meditate in his temple. [1]
5 כִּ֤י יִצְפְּנֵ֨נִי ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
בְּסֻכֹּה֮ [3] Sinnor
בְּי֢וֹם רָ֫עָ֥ה [2] Ole Veyored
 
יַ֭סְתִּרֵנִי [3] Dechi
בְּסֵ֣תֶר אׇהֳל֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
בְּ֝צ֗וּר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְרוֹמְמֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 3 2 5 For he will hide me [4]
in his refuge [3]
in the day of trouble; [2]
 
he will conceal me [3]
in the shelter of his tent, [2]
 
upon a rock [2]
he will set me high. [1]
6 וְעַתָּ֨ה יָר֪וּם רֹאשִׁ֡י [4] Pazer
עַ֤ל אֹיְבַ֬י סְֽבִיבוֹתַ֗י [3] Revi'i
 
וְאֶזְבְּחָ֣ה בְ֭אׇהֳלוֹ [3] Dechi
זִבְחֵ֣י תְרוּעָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
אָשִׁ֥ירָה וַ֝אֲזַמְּרָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לַֽיהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 6 Then my head will be high [4]
above my enemies around me, [3]
 
and I will offer sacrifices in his tent, [3]
sacrifices of a joyful shout; [2]
 
I will sing, I will sing praises [2]
to the LORD. [1]
7 שְׁמַע־יְהֹוָ֖ה קוֹלִ֥י אֶקְרָ֗א [3/2] Revi'i
וְחׇנֵּ֥נִי וַֽעֲנֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 7 Hear O LORD when I call out with my voice, [3/2]
and have mercy on me and answer me. [1]
8 לְךָ֤ ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
אָמַ֣ר לִ֭בִּי [3] Dechi
בַּקְּשׁ֣וּ פָנָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
אֶת־פָּנֶ֖יךָ יְהֹוָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
אֲבַקֵּֽשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 8 By you [4]
my heart has said, [3]
“Seek my face.” [2]
 
Your face O LORD [2]
will I seek. [1]
9 אַל־תַּסְתֵּ֬ר פָּנֶ֨יךָ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
מִמֶּנִּי֮ [3] Sinnor
 
אַ֥ל תַּט־בְּאַ֗ף [3] Revi'i
עַ֫בְדֶּ֥ךָ [2] Ole Veyored
 
עֶזְרָתִ֥י הָיִ֑יתָ [2] Etnachta
אַֽל־תִּטְּשֵׁ֥נִי וְאַל־תַּ֝עַזְבֵ֗נִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׁעִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 2 9 Do not hide your face [4]
from me, [3]
 
do not in anger turn away [3]
your servant; [2]
 
my help you have been, [2]
do not abandon me and do not forsake me, [2]
O God of my salvation. [1]
10 כִּֽי־אָבִ֣י וְאִמִּ֣י [3] VDechi
עֲזָב֑וּנִי [2] Etnachta
 
וַֽיהֹוָ֣ה יַאַסְפֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 10 When my father and my mother, [3]
they have forsaken me; [2]
 
then the LORD will receive me. [1]
11 ה֤וֹרֵ֥נִי יְהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
דַּ֫רְכֶּ֥ךָ [2] Ole Veyored
 
וּ֭נְחֵנִי [3] Dechi
בְּאֹ֣רַח מִישׁ֑וֹר [2] Etnachta
 
לְ֝מַ֗עַן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שֽׁוֹרְרָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 2 11 Teach me O LORD [3]
your way; [2]
 
and lead me [3]
on a level path [2]
 
because of [2]
my enemies. [1]
12 אַֽל־תִּ֭תְּנֵנִי [3] Dechi
בְּנֶ֣פֶשׁ צָרָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
כִּ֥י קָמוּ־בִ֥י עֵדֵי־שֶׁ֝֗קֶר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וִיפֵ֥חַ חָמָֽס׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 Do not deliver me over [3]
to the will of my adversaries; [2]
 
for false witnesses have risen up against me, [2]
breathing out violence. [1]
13 לׅׄוּׅׄלֵׅ֗ׄאׅׄ [3] Revi'i
הֶ֭אֱמַנְתִּי [3] Dechi
לִרְא֥וֹת בְּֽטוּב־יְהֹוָ֗ה [3/2] Revi'i
בְּאֶ֣רֶץ חַיִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 13 If not [3]
I had believed [3]
to look on the goodness of the LORD, [3/2]
in the land of the living! [1]
14 קַוֵּ֗ה [3] Revi'i
אֶל־יְ֫הֹוָ֥ה [2] Ole Veyored
 
חֲ֭זַק [3] Dechi
וְיַאֲמֵ֣ץ לִבֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝קַוֵּ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶל־יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

be strong [3]
and let your heart take courage, [2]
