1 וַיַּ֖עַן יְהוָ֥ה אֶת־אִיּ֗וֹב [3/2] Revi'i
וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 1 Moreover the LORD answered Job, [3/2]
2 הֲ֭רֹב [3] Dechi
עִם־שַׁדַּ֣י יִסּ֑וֹר [2] Etnachta
 
מוֹכִ֖יחַ אֱל֣וֹהַּ [2] VRevMug
יַעֲנֶֽנָּה׃ [1] Silluq

2 3 2 2 “Shall he who argues contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.” ¶ [3]
3 וַיַּ֖עַן אִיּ֥וֹב אֶת־יְהוָ֗ה [3/2] Revi'i
וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 Then Job answered the LORD, [3/2]
4 הֵ֣ן קַ֭לֹּתִי [3] Dechi
מָ֣ה אֲשִׁיבֶ֑ךָּ [2] Etnachta
 
יָ֝דִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שַׂ֣מְתִּי לְמוֹ־פִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 “Behold, I am of small account. What will I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth. [3]
5 אַחַ֣ת דִּ֭בַּרְתִּי [3] Dechi
וְלֹ֣א אֶֽעֱנֶ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝שְׁתַּ֗יִם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְלֹ֣א אוֹסִֽיף׃ [1] Silluq

2 3 2 5 I have spoken once, and I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further.” ¶ [3]
6 וַיַּֽעַן־יְהוָ֣ה אֶת־אִ֭יּוֹב [3] Dechi
*מנ *סערה **מִ֥ן ׀ **סְעָרָ֗ה [3/2] Revi'i
וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 6 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, [3]
7 אֱזָר־נָ֣א כְגֶ֣בֶר [3] VDechi
חֲלָצֶ֑יךָ [2] Etnachta
 
אֶ֝שְׁאָלְךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְהוֹדִיעֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 “Now brace yourself like a man. I will question you, and you will answer me. [3]
8 הַ֭אַף [3] Dechi
תָּפֵ֣ר מִשְׁפָּטִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
תַּ֝רְשִׁיעֵ֗נִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְמַ֣עַן תִּצְדָּֽק׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified? [3]
9 וְאִם־זְר֖וֹעַ כָּאֵ֥ל ׀ לָ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְק֗וֹל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כָּמֹ֥הוּ תַרְעֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 9 Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him? [2]
 
10 עֲדֵ֥ה נָ֣א גָֽא֣וֹן [3] VDechi
וָגֹ֑בַהּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְה֖וֹד וְהָדָ֣ר [2] VRevMug
תִּלְבָּֽשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 “Now deck yourself with excellency and dignity. Array yourself with honor and majesty. [3]
11 הָ֭פֵץ [3] Dechi
עֶבְר֣וֹת אַפֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וּרְאֵ֥ה כָל־גֵּ֝אֶ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְהַשְׁפִּילֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 Pour out the fury of your anger. Look at everyone who is proud, and bring him low. [3]
12 רְאֵ֣ה כָל־גֵּ֭אֶה [3] Dechi
הַכְנִיעֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וַהֲדֹ֖ךְ רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תַּחְתָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place. [3]
13 טָמְנֵ֣ם בֶּעָפָ֣ר [3] VDechi
יָ֑חַד [2] Etnachta
 
פְּ֝נֵיהֶ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
חֲבֹ֣שׁ בַּטָּמֽוּן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 Hide them in the dust together. Bind their faces in the hidden place. [3]
14 וְגַם־אֲנִ֥י אוֹדֶ֑ךָּ [2] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־תוֹשִׁ֖עַ לְךָ֣ [2] VRevMug
יְמִינֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 14 Then I will also admit to you that your own right hand can save you. [2]
 
15 הִנֵּה־נָ֣א בְ֭הֵמוֹת [3] Dechi
אֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂ֣יתִי עִמָּ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
חָ֝צִ֗יר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כַּבָּקָ֥ר יֹאכֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 “See now, behemoth, which I made as well as you. He eats grass as an ox. [3]
16 הִנֵּה־נָ֣א כֹח֣וֹ [3] VDechi
בְמָתְנָ֑יו [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝אֹנ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בִּשְׁרִירֵ֥י בִטְנֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 Look now, his strength is in his thighs. His force is in the muscles of his belly. [3]
17 יַחְפֹּ֣ץ זְנָב֣וֹ [3] VDechi
כְמוֹ־אָ֑רֶז [2] Etnachta
 
גִּידֵ֖י *פחדו **פַחֲדָ֣יו [2] VRevMug
יְשֹׂרָֽגוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 He moves his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his thighs are knit together. [3]
18 עֲ֭צָמָיו [3] Dechi
אֲפִיקֵ֣י נְחוּשָׁ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
גְּ֝רָמָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כִּמְטִ֥יל בַּרְזֶֽל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 His bones are like tubes of bronze. His limbs are like bars of iron. [3]
19 ה֭וּא [3] Dechi
רֵאשִׁ֣ית דַּרְכֵי־אֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta
 
הָ֝עֹשׂוֹ [2] Geresh
יַגֵּ֥שׁ חַרְבּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 He is the chief of the ways of God. He who made him gives him his sword. [3]
20 כִּֽי־ב֭וּל [3] Dechi
הָרִ֣ים יִשְׂאוּ־ל֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽכָל־חַיַּ֥ת הַ֝שָּׂדֶ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְשַֽׂחֲקוּ־שָֽׁם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 20 Surely the mountains produce food for him, where all the animals of the field play. [3]
21 תַּֽחַת־צֶאֱלִ֥ים יִשְׁכָּ֑ב [2] Etnachta
 
בְּסֵ֖תֶר קָנֶ֣ה [2] VRevMug
וּבִצָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 21 He lies under the lotus trees, in the covert of the reed, and the marsh. [2]
 
22 יְסֻכֻּ֣הוּ צֶאֱלִ֣ים [3] VDechi
צִֽלֲל֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
יְ֝סֻבּ֗וּהוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַרְבֵי־נָֽחַל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 The lotuses cover him with their shade. The willows of the brook surround him. [3]
23 הֵ֤ן יַעֲשֹׁ֣ק נָ֭הָר [3] Dechi
לֹ֣א יַחְפּ֑וֹז [2] Etnachta
 
יִבְטַ֓ח ׀ [2] ShalsheletG
כִּֽי־יָגִ֖יחַ יַרְדֵּ֣ן [2] VRevMug
אֶל־פִּֽיהוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 23 Behold, if a river overflows, he doesn’t tremble. He is confident, though the Jordan swells even to his mouth. [3]
24 בְּעֵינָ֥יו יִקָּחֶ֑נּוּ [2] Etnachta
 
בְּ֝מֽוֹקְשִׁ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִנְקָב־אָֽף׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 24 Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare? ¶ [2]

2 3 2 1 “Can you draw out Leviathan with a fish hook, or press down his tongue with a cord? [3]
26 הֲתָשִׂ֣ים אַגְמ֣וֹן [3] VDechi

תִּקּ֥וֹב לֶֽחֱיוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 Can you put a rope into his nose, or pierce his jaw through with a hook? [3]
27 הֲיַרְבֶּ֣ה אֵ֭לֶיךָ [3] Dechi
תַּחֲנוּנִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
אִם־יְדַבֵּ֖ר אֵלֶ֣יךָ [2] VRevMug
רַכּֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 Will he make many petitions to you, or will he speak soft words to you? [3]
28 הֲיִכְרֹ֣ת בְּרִ֣ית [3] VDechi
עִמָּ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
תִּ֝קָּחֶ֗נּוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְעֶ֣בֶד עוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 Will he make a covenant with you, that you should take him for a servant forever? [3]
29 הַֽתְשַׂחֶק־בּ֭וֹ [3] Dechi
כַּצִּפּ֑וֹר [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝תִקְשְׁרֶ֗נּוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְנַעֲרוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 Will you play with him as with a bird? Or will you bind him for your girls? [3]
30 יִכְר֣וּ עָ֭לָיו [3] Dechi
חַבָּרִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
יֶ֝חֱצ֗וּהוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בֵּ֣ין כְּֽנַעֲנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 Will traders barter for him? Will they part him among the merchants? [3]
31 הַֽתְמַלֵּ֣א בְשֻׂכּ֣וֹת [3] VDechi
עוֹר֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וּבְצִלְצַ֖ל דָּגִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
רֹאשֽׁוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 Can you fill his skin with barbed irons, or his head with fish spears? [3]
32 שִׂים־עָלָ֥יו כַּפֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
זְכֹ֥ר מִ֝לְחָמָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַל־תּוֹסַֽף׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 8 Lay your hand on him. Remember the battle, and do so no more. [2]
