The Book of Isaiah 20

20In the year of the coming of Tartan to Ashdod, when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him, then he fought against Ashdod and captured it. 2At that time Yahweh spoke by the hand of Isaiah son of Amoz, saying, “Go and remove the sackcloth from your waist and take off your sandals from your feet.” And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

3And Yahweh said, “Just as my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years, it is a sign and an omen concerning Egypt and concerning Cush, 4thus the king of Assyria will lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Cush, young and old, naked and barefoot, with uncovered buttocks—the shame of Egypt. 5And they will be dismayed and ashamed, because of Cush, their hope, and of Egypt, their glory. 6And the inhabitants of these coasts will say on that day, ‘Behold, this was our hope, where we fled for help to be rescued from the face of the king of Assyria, but how can we escape?’”
