1 The words of Amos, [2] who was among the herdsmen [2] from Tekoa; [1] in the days [4] of Uzziah king of Judah, [3] of Jeroboam son of Joash [3] king of Israel, [2] before the earthquake. [1] |

4 but I will send forth a fire [2] on the house of Hazael; [1] the fortresses of Ben Hadad. [1] |

6 Thus [3] says the LORD, [2] transgressions of Gaza, [2] I will not relent; [1] an entire population, [2] to deliver them up to Edom, [1] |

7 but I will send forth a fire [2] on the wall of Gaza; [1] its fortresses. [1] |

8 And I will cut off inhabitant [3] from Ashdod, [2] from Ashkelon; [1] against Ekron, [3] the remnant of the Philistines,” [2] the Lord GOD. [1] ¶ |

14 But I will kindle a fire [3] on the wall of Rabbah, [2] its fortresses; [1] on the day of battle, [2] on the day of a whirlwind, [1] |

2 but I will send forth a fire on Moab, [2] and it will consume [2] the fortresses of Kerioth; [1] Moab, [2] with the sound of a shofar, [1] |

7 who trample into the dust of the earth [3 3] the head of the poor, [2] they turn aside; [1] they go [3] into the same maiden, [2] my holy name, [1] |

10 By the sword they will die, [2] all [2] the sinners of my people; [1] ‘It won’t come near and meet [3] us, [2] the calamity.’ [1] |

11 In that day [2] the tent of David [2] which has fallen; [1] and its ruins [3] I will raise up, [2] as in the days of old, [1] |

12 לְמַ֨עַן יִֽירְשׁ֜וּ [4] Geresh אֶת־שְׁאֵרִ֤ית אֱדוֹם֙ [3] Pashta וְכׇל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם [2] Zaqef עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta עֹ֥שֶׂה זֹּֽאת׃ [1] Silluq פ |
12 that they may possess [4] the remnant of Edom, [3] and all the nations, [2] on them,” [1] who will do this. [1] ¶ |

13 “Behold days are coming,” [3] says the LORD, [2] the reaper, [2] the one who sows the seed; [1] with sweet wine, [2] they will flow with it. [1] |

14 וְשַׁבְתִּי֮ [3] Zarqa אֶת־שְׁב֣וּת עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ [2] Segol עָרִ֤ים נְשַׁמּוֹת֙ [3] Pashta וְיָשָׁ֔בוּ [2] Zaqef וְשָׁת֖וּ [2] Tip'cha אֶת־יֵינָ֑ם [1] Etnachta וְאָכְל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha אֶת־פְּרִיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
14 And I will turn back [3] the captivity of my people Israel, [2] the ruined cities, [3] and they will inhabit (them), [2] and they will drink [2] their wine; [1] and they will eat [2] their fruit. [1] |
