הַשַּׁאֲנַנִּ֣ים בְּצִיּ֔וֹן [2] Zaqef
 
וְהַבֹּטְחִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בְּהַ֣ר שֹׁמְר֑וֹן [1] Etnachta
 
נְקֻבֵי֙ [3] Pashta
רֵאשִׁ֣ית הַגּוֹיִ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וּבָ֥אוּ לָהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq

those who are at ease in Zion, [2]
 
and who trust [2]
in the mountain of Samaria; [1]
 
the distinguished ones [3]
of the head of the nations, [2]
 
to whom they come, [2]
the house of Israel! [1]

וּרְא֔וּ [2] Zaqef
 
וּלְכ֥וּ מִשָּׁ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
חֲמַ֣ת רַבָּ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
וּרְד֣וּ גַת־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֗ים [3] Revi'i
הֲטוֹבִים֙ [3] Pashta
מִן־הַמַּמְלָכ֣וֹת הָאֵ֔לֶּה [2] Zaqef
 
אִם־רַ֥ב גְּבוּלָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
מִגְּבֻלְכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

and from there go to [2]
Hamath the great; [1]
 
and go down to Gath of the Philistines - [3]
good are they [3]
more than these kingdoms? [2]
 
Or great is their territory [2]
more than your territory, [1]

שֶׁ֥בֶת חָמָֽס׃ [1] Silluq

the evil day; [1]
 
and you bring near [2]
a seat of violence, [1]
4 הַשֹּֽׁכְבִים֙ [3] Pashta
עַל־מִטּ֣וֹת שֵׁ֔ן [2] Zaqef
 
וּסְרֻחִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
עַל־עַרְשׂוֹתָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֹכְלִ֤ים כָּרִים֙ [3] Pashta
מִצֹּ֔אן [2] Zaqef
 
וַעֲגָלִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
מִתּ֥וֹךְ מַרְבֵּֽק׃ [1] Silluq

on beds of ivory, [2]
 
and sprawled out [2]
on their couches; [1]
 
and who eat lambs [3]
from the flock, [2]
 
and calves [2]
from the middle of the stall, [1]

עַל־פִּ֣י הַנָּ֑בֶל [1] Etnachta
 
כְּדָוִ֕יד [2] ZaqefG
חָשְׁב֥וּ לָהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
כְּלֵי־שִֽׁיר׃ [1] Silluq

on the strings of a harp; [1]
 
like David [2]
they devise for themselves [2]
instruments of music, [1]
6 הַשֹּׁתִ֤ים בְּמִזְרְקֵי֙ [3] Pashta
יַ֔יִן [2] Zaqef
 
וְרֵאשִׁ֥ית שְׁמָנִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
יִמְשָׁ֑חוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְלֹ֥א נֶחְל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
עַל־שֵׁ֥בֶר יוֹסֵֽף׃ [1] Silluq

of wine, [2]
 
and with the best of oils [2]
anoint themselves; [1]
 
but they are not grieved [2]
for the ruin of Joseph? [1]
7 לָכֵ֛ן [3] Tevir
עַתָּ֥ה יִגְל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
בְּרֹ֣אשׁ גֹּלִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וְסָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
מִרְזַ֥ח סְרוּחִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

now they will go into exile [2]
at the head of those who go into exile; [1]
 
and it will come to an end, [2]
the revelry and lounging. [1]
8 נִשְׁבַּע֩ אֲדֹנָ֨י יֱהֹוִ֜ה [4] Geresh
בְּנַפְשׁ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i
 
נְאֻם־יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
אֱלֹהֵ֣י צְבָא֔וֹת [2] Zaqef
 
מְתָאֵ֤ב אָנֹכִי֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־גְּא֣וֹן יַעֲקֹ֔ב [2] Zaqef
 
וְאַרְמְנֹתָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
שָׂנֵ֑אתִי [1] Etnachta
 
וְהִסְגַּרְתִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
עִ֥יר וּמְלֹאָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq

“I abhor [3]
the pride of Jacob, [2]
 
and his fortresses [2]
I hate; [1]
 
and I will deliver up [2]
the city and what fills it. [1]

אִם־יִוָּ֨תְר֜וּ [4] Geresh
עֲשָׂרָ֧ה אֲנָשִׁ֛ים [3] Tevir
בְּבַ֥יִת אֶחָ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
 
וָמֵֽתוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 4 9 and it will be, [3]
 
if they remain [4]
ten men [3]
in one house, [2]
 
that they will die. [1]
10 וּנְשָׂא֞וֹ [4] Gershayim
דּוֹד֣וֹ וּמְסָֽרְפ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i
 
לְהוֹצִ֣יא עֲצָמִים֮ [3] Zarqa
מִן־הַבַּיִת֒ [2] Segol
 
וְאָמַ֞ר [4] Gershayim
לַאֲשֶׁ֨ר בְּיַרְכְּתֵ֥י הַבַּ֛יִת [3] Tevir
הַע֥וֹד עִמָּ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
וְאָמַ֣ר אָ֑פֶס [1] Etnachta
 
וְאָמַ֣ר הָ֔ס [2] Zaqef
 
כִּ֛י [3] Tevir
לֹ֥א לְהַזְכִּ֖יר [2] Tip'cha
בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

not to mention [2]
the name of the LORD.’ [1]

וְהִכָּ֛ה [3] Tevir
הַבַּ֥יִת הַגָּד֖וֹל [2] Tip'cha
רְסִיסִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וְהַבַּ֥יִת הַקָּטֹ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
בְּקִעִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

and (it) will be struck, [3]
the great house [2]
(into) fragments; [1]
 
and the small house [2]
(into) rubble. [1]
12 הַיְרֻצ֤וּן בַּסֶּ֙לַע֙ [3 3] Pashta
סוּסִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
אִֽם־יַחֲר֖וֹשׁ [2] Tip'cha
בַּבְּקָרִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־הֲפַכְתֶּ֤ם לְרֹאשׁ֙ [3] Pashta
מִשְׁפָּ֔ט [2] Zaqef
 
וּפְרִ֥י צְדָקָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לְלַעֲנָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

horses? [2]
 
Or does one plow (there) [2]
with oxen? [1]
 
But you have turned into poison, [3]
justice, [2]
 
and the fruit of righteousness [2]
into bitterness, [1]
13 הַשְּׂמֵחִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
לְלֹ֣א דָבָ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
הָאֹ֣מְרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
הֲל֣וֹא בְחׇזְקֵ֔נוּ [2] Zaqef
לָקַ֥חְנוּ לָ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha
קַרְנָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq

in a thing of nothing; [1]
 
who say, [2]
‘Have not by our own strength [2]
we taken for ourselves [2]
horns?’ [1]

הִנְנִי֩ מֵקִ֨ים עֲלֵיכֶ֜ם [4] Geresh
בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל [3] Revi'i
 
נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֛ה [3] Tevir
אֱלֹהֵ֥י הַצְּבָא֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
 
גּ֑וֹי [1] Etnachta
 
וְלָחֲצ֥וּ אֶתְכֶ֛ם [3] Tevir
מִלְּב֥וֹא חֲמָ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
עַד־נַ֥חַל הָעֲרָבָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
