1 כֹּ֥ה הִרְאַ֖נִי [2] Tip'cha אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה [1] Etnachta כְּל֥וּב קָֽיִץ׃ [1] Silluq |
1 Thus he showed me, [2] the Lord GOD; [1] a basket of summer fruit. [1] |

2 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i מָֽה־אַתָּ֤ה רֹאֶה֙ [3] Pashta עָמ֔וֹס [2] Zaqef כְּל֣וּב קָ֑יִץ [1] Etnachta אֵלַ֗י [3] Revi'i אֶל־עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef עֲב֥וֹר לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
2 And he said, [3] “What do you see [3] Amos?” [2] “A basket of summer fruit.” [1] to me, [3] to my people Israel. [2] pass by them. [1] |

3 וְהֵילִ֜ילוּ [4] Geresh שִׁיר֤וֹת הֵיכָל֙ [3] Pashta בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא [2] Zaqef אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה [1] Etnachta בְּכׇל־מָק֖וֹם [2] Tip'cha הִשְׁלִ֥יךְ הָֽס׃ [1] Silluq פ |
3 And they will wail [4] songs of the temple [3] in that day,” [2] the Lord GOD; [1] In every place [2] they will be thrown out in silence. [1] ¶ |

4 שִׁמְעוּ־זֹ֕את [2] ZaqefG הַשֹּׁאֲפִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha אֶבְי֑וֹן [1] Etnachta *ענוי **עֲנִיֵּי־אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
4 Hear this, [2] who trample on [2] the needy; [1] the poor of the land, [1] |

5 לֵאמֹ֗ר [3] Revi'i יַעֲבֹ֤ר הַחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ [3 3] Pashta וְנַשְׁבִּ֣ירָה שֶּׁ֔בֶר [2] Zaqef וְנִפְתְּחָה־בָּ֑ר [1] Etnachta וּלְהַגְדִּ֣יל שֶׁ֔קֶל [2] Zaqef מֹאזְנֵ֥י מִרְמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
5 saying, [3] will the new moon pass, [3 3] that we may sell grain? [2] that we may market grain; [1] and making the shekel large, [2] with balances of deceit, [1] |

6 לִקְנ֤וֹת בַּכֶּ֙סֶף֙ [3 3] Pashta דַּלִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef בַּעֲב֣וּר נַעֲלָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta נַשְׁבִּֽיר׃ [1] Silluq |
6 to buy for silver [3 3] the poor, [2] for a pair of sandals; [1] we will sell as grain?’ ” [1] |

7 נִשְׁבַּ֥ע יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בִּגְא֣וֹן יַעֲקֹ֑ב [1] Etnachta כׇּל־מַעֲשֵׂיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
7 The LORD has sworn [2] by the pride of Jacob; [1] any of their deeds. [1] |

8 הַ֤עַל זֹאת֙ [3] Pashta לֹא־תִרְגַּ֣ז הָאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef כׇּל־יוֹשֵׁ֣ב בָּ֑הּ [1] Etnachta כֻּלָּ֔הּ [2] Zaqef כִּיא֥וֹר מִצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq פ |
8 For this [3] won’t the land tremble, [2] everyone who dwells in it? [1] all of it, [2] like the River of Egypt. [1] ¶ |

9 וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ [4] Legarmeh בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא [3] Revi'i אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה [2] Zaqef בַּֽצׇּהֳרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta בְּי֥וֹם אֽוֹר׃ [1] Silluq |
9 And it will be [4] on that day,” [3] the Lord GOD, [2] at noon; [1] on a clear day. [1] |

10 וְהָפַכְתִּ֨י חַגֵּיכֶ֜ם [4] Geresh לְאֵ֗בֶל [3] Revi'i לְקִינָ֔ה [2] Zaqef שָׂ֔ק [2] Zaqef קׇרְחָ֑ה [1] Etnachta כְּאֵ֣בֶל יָחִ֔יד [2] Zaqef כְּי֥וֹם מָֽר׃ [1] Silluq פ |
10 And I will turn your feasts [4] into mourning, [3] into lamentation, [2] sackcloth, [2] baldness; [1] like mourning for an only son, [2] like a bitter day. [1] ¶ |

11 הִנֵּ֣ה ׀ [4] Legarmeh יָמִ֣ים בָּאִ֗ים [3] Revi'i אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה [2] Zaqef בָּאָ֑רֶץ [1] Etnachta וְלֹֽא־צָמָ֣א לַמַּ֔יִם [2] Zaqef אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha דִּבְרֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
11 Behold [4] days are coming,” [3] the Lord GOD, [2] on the land; [1] and not a thirst for water, [2] -- [2] the words of the LORD. [1] |

12 וְנָעוּ֙ [3] Pashta מִיָּ֣ם עַד־יָ֔ם [2] Zaqef וְעַד־מִזְרָ֑ח [1] Etnachta לְבַקֵּ֥שׁ אֶת־דְּבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וְלֹ֥א יִמְצָֽאוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
12 And they will wander [3] from sea to sea, [2] and to the east; [1] to seek the word of the LORD, [2] and they will not find (it). [1] |

13 בַּיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא [4] Geresh תִּ֠תְעַלַּ֠פְנָה [4 4] TelishaG הַבְּתוּלֹ֧ת הַיָּפ֛וֹת [3] Tevir וְהַבַּחוּרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha |
13 In that day [4] they will faint, [4 4] the beautiful virgins, [3] and the young men, [2] |

14 הַנִּשְׁבָּעִים֙ [3] Pashta בְּאַשְׁמַ֣ת שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן [2] Zaqef חֵ֤י אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ [3 3] Pashta דָּ֔ן [2] Zaqef דֶּ֣רֶךְ בְּאֵֽר־שָׁ֑בַע [1] Etnachta וְלֹא־יָק֥וּמוּ עֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq פ |
14 Those who swear [3] by the guilt of Samaria, [2] ‘By the life of your gods [3 3] O Dan,’ [2] of the way of Beersheba,’ [1] and they will not rise again.” [1] ¶ |
