דניאל 10 | Daniel 10 | |||
1 In year three [3] of Cyrus [3 3] king of Persia, [2] it was revealed to Daniel [2] Belteshazzar; [1] and one of great conflict, [2] the word, [2] of the vision. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
2 In the days, [2] those; [1] I was mourning [2] of days. [1] |
3 Rich food [4] I didn't eat, [3] it didn't enter my mouth, [2] three weeks [2] of days. [1] ¶ |
[2] Tip'cha |
4 And on day [3] twenty and four [2] of the first month; [1] I was [3] on the bank of the river [3] great, [2] |
[1] Silluq |
5 I lifted up my eyes [3] and I looked, [2] clothed in linen; [1] with fine gold of Uphaz. [1] |
6 And his body was like topaz, [3] like the appearance of lightning [3] like flaming torches, [2] and his feet [2] burnished bronze; [1] was like the sound of a multitude. [1] |
7 And I Daniel, I alone saw [3] the vision, [2] who were with me, [2] the vision; [1] great terror, [3] it fell on them, [2] to hide themselves. [1] |
8 So I, [3] I was left behind, I alone, [2] the great vision, [3] this, [2] strength; [1] it was changed in me [3] into frailty, [2] strength. [1] |
9 But I heard [2] the sound of his words; [1] the sound of his words, [2] I was [3] in a deep sleep on my face, [2] with my face to the ground. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
10 Then behold a hand, [2] it touched me; [1] and the palms of my hands. [1] |
11 And he said to me, [4] “O Daniel, man greatly loved, [4 4] understand the words [4] that I am about to speak to you, [3 3] I have been sent to you.” [1] this word, [2] I stood up trembling. [1] |
12 Then he said to me, [3] “Fear not O Daniel, [2] from the first day [3] to understand and to humble yourself [3] before your God, [2] because of your words. [1] |
13 But the prince [4] of the kingdom of Persia [3] twenty and one days, [2] one [3] of the chief princes, [2] he came to help me; [1] I had been detained there [2] the kings of Persia. [1] |
14 Now I have come [3 3] to make you understand [2] what will happen to your people [2] at the end of the days; [1] for (those) days.” [1] |
15 And while he was speaking to me [2] according to the words [2] these; [1] toward the ground [2] and I was speechless. [1] |
16 Then behold, [3] one who looked like [3] the sons of men [2] my lips; [1] and I spoke [3] and I said [3] to the one standing before me, [2] because of the vision, [3] anguish has come [3] over me, [2] strength. [1] |
17 For how can [3] the servant of my lord, [3] this, [2] with this my lord? [1] no strength remains in me, [2] there is none left in me.” [1] |
[1] Silluq |
18 Then he again touched me, [3] the one who looked like a man, [2] and he strengthened me. [1] |
19 And he said, [4] “Fear not, O man greatly loved, [3] peace be to you, [2] be strong now, be strong.” [1] I was strengthened, [2] “Let my lord speak, [2] for you have strengthened me.” [1] |
20 Then he said, [3] “Do you know [3 3] why I have come to you? [2] to fight [2] against the prince of Persia; [1] behold, the prince of Greece, [2] he will come. [1] |
21 But [3] I will tell you [2] of truth; [1] who holds strong with me [3] against these, [2] your prince. [1] ¶ |
