	⁸וְגַ֣ם אֱֽלֹהֵיהֶ֡ם [4] Pazer עִם־נְסִֽכֵיהֶם֩ עִם־כְּלֵ֨י חֶמְדָּתָ֜ם [4] Geresh כֶּ֧סֶף וְזָהָ֛ב [3] Tevir בַּשְּׁבִ֖י [2] Tip'cha יָבִ֣א מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta וְהוּא֙ [3] Pashta שָׁנִ֣ים יַעֲמֹ֔ד [2] Zaqef מִמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha הַצָּפֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq		⁸And also their gods, [4] with their cast metal images and their precious vessels [4] of silver and gold, [3] into captivity [2] he will carry to Egypt; [1] and he [3] for some years he will stay [2] away from the king [2] of the north. [1]
	⁹וּבָ֗א [3] Revi'i בְּמַלְכוּת֙ [3] Pashta מֶ֣לֶךְ הַנֶּ֔גֶב [2] Zaqef וְשָׁ֖ב [2] Tip'cha אֶל־אַדְמָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		⁹Then he (king of the north) will come [3] into the kingdom [3] of the king of the south, [2] but he will return [2] to his own land. [1]

	¹²וְנִשָּׂ֥א הֶהָמ֖וֹן [2] Tip'cha ירום *וְרָ֣ם לְבָב֑וֹ [1] Etnachta וְהִפִּ֥יל רִבֹּא֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha וְלֹ֥א יָעֽוֹז׃ [1] Silluq		¹²And the multitude will be carried off, [2] and his heart will be lifted up; [1] and he will cast down tens of thousands, [2] but he will not prevail. [1]

	¹⁴וּבָעִתִּ֣ים הָהֵ֔ם [2] Zaqef רַבִּ֥ים יַֽעַמְד֖וּ [2] Tip'cha עַל־מֶ֣לֶךְ הַנֶּ֑גֶב [1] Etnachta וּבְנֵ֣י ׀ [4] Legarmeh פָּרִיצֵ֣י עַמְּךָ֗ [3] Revi'i יִֽנַּשְּׂא֛וּ [3] Tevir לְהַעֲמִ֥יד חָז֖וֹן [2] Tip'cha וְנִכְשָֽׁלוּ׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁴“And in those times [2] many will rise up [2] against the king of the south; [1] and the sons [4] of the violent among your people, [3] they will raise themselves up [3] to fulfill a vision, [2] but they will stumble. [1]
	¹⁵וְיָבֹא֙ [3] Pashta מֶ֣לֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן [2] Zaqef וְיִשְׁפֹּךְ֙ [3] Pashta סֽוֹלְלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְלָכַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha עִ֣יר מִבְצָר֑וֹת [1] Etnachta וּזְרֹע֤וֹת הַנֶּ֙גֶב֙ [3 3] Pashta לֹ֣א יַעֲמֹ֔דוּ [2] Zaqef וְעַם֙ [3] Pashta מִבְחָרָ֔יו [2] Zaqef וְאֵ֥ין כֹּ֖חַ [2] Tip'cha לַעֲמֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁵So he will come, [3] the king of the north, [2] and he will pour out [3] a mound [2] and he will capture [2] a fortified city; [1] and the forces of the south, [3 3] they will not stand, [2] and the people [3] of his choicest troops [2] will have no strength [2] to stand. [1]
	¹⁶וְיַ֨עַשׂ הַבָּ֤א אֵלָיו֙ [3] Pashta כִּרְצוֹנ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef וְאֵ֥ין עוֹמֵ֖ד [2] Tip'cha לְפָנָ֑יו [1] Etnachta וְיַעֲמֹ֥ד בְּאֶֽרֶץ־הַצְּבִ֖י [2] Tip'cha וְכָלָ֥ה בְיָדֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁶But the one who comes against him will do [3] as he pleases, [2] and no one will be able to stand [2] before him; [1] and he will stand in the beautiful land, [2] and destruction will be in his hand. [1]
	¹⁷וְיָשֵׂ֣ם ׀ [4] Legarmeh פָּ֠נָ֠יו [4 4] TelishaG לָב֞וֹא [4] Gershayim בְּתֹ֧קֶף כׇּל־מַלְכוּת֛וֹ [3] Tevir וִישָׁרִ֥ים עִמּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha וְעָשָׂ֑ה [1] Etnachta וּבַ֤ת הַנָּשִׁים֙ [3] Pashta יִתֶּן־ל֣וֹ לְהַשְׁחִיתָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef וְלֹ֥א תַעֲמֹ֖ד [2] Tip'cha וְלֹא־ל֥וֹ תִהְיֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁷And he will set [4] his face [4 4] to come [4] with the strength of all his kingdom, [3] and terms of an agreement with him [2] which he will perform; [1] and the daughter of women [3] he will give him to corrupt her, [2] but she will not stand [2] and she will not be for him. [1]

	¹⁹וְיָשֵׁ֣ב פָּנָ֔יו [2] Zaqef לְמָעוּזֵּ֖י [2] Tip'cha אַרְצ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta וְנִכְשַׁ֥ל וְנָפַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha וְלֹ֥א יִמָּצֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁹Then he will turn his face [2] toward the fortresses [2] of his own land; [1] but he will stumble and he will fall, [2] and he will not be found. [1]

	²⁰וְעָמַ֧ד עַל־כַּנּ֛וֹ [3] Tevir מַעֲבִ֥יר נוֹגֵ֖שׂ [2] Tip'cha הֶ֣דֶר מַלְכ֑וּת [1] Etnachta וּבְיָמִ֤ים אֲחָדִים֙ [3] Pashta יִשָּׁבֵ֔ר [2] Zaqef וְלֹ֥א בְאַפַּ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha וְלֹ֥א בְמִלְחָמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq		²⁰“Then he will arise in his place, [3] one who will make a tax collector pass through [2] for the glory of the kingdom; [1] but within few days [3] he shall be broken, [2] but not in anger [2] and not in battle. [1]
	²¹וְעָמַ֤ד עַל־כַּנּוֹ֙ [3] Pashta נִבְזֶ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְלֹא־נָתְנ֥וּ עָלָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha ה֣וֹד מַלְכ֑וּת [1] Etnachta וּבָ֣א בְשַׁלְוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְהֶחֱזִ֥יק מַלְכ֖וּת [2] Tip'cha בַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq		²¹“Then he will arise in his place, [3] a contemptible person [2] to whom had not been given [2] the honor of royalty; [1] but he will come in quietly, [2] and he will take hold of the kingdom [2] by trickery. [1]

	²²וּזְרֹע֥וֹת הַשֶּׁ֛טֶף [3] Tevir יִשָּׁטְפ֥וּ מִלְּפָנָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha וְיִשָּׁבֵ֑רוּ [1] Etnachta וְגַ֖ם [2] Tip'cha נְגִ֥יד בְּרִֽית׃ [1] Silluq		²²And a flood of forces, [3] they will be swept away from before him [2] and they will be broken; [1] and also [2] the prince of the covenant. [1]
	²³וּמִן־הִֽתְחַבְּר֥וּת אֵלָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה מִרְמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta וְעָלָ֥ה וְעָצַ֖ם [2] Tip'cha בִּמְעַט־גּֽוֹי׃ [1] Silluq		²³And after an alliance is made with him [2] he will work deceitfully; [1] and he will rise and will become strong [2] with a small force. [1]
	²⁴בְּשַׁלְוָ֞ה [4] Gershayim וּבְמִשְׁמַנֵּ֣י מְדִינָה֮ [3] Zarqa יָבוֹא֒ [2] Segol וְעָשָׂ֗ה [3] Revi'i אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹא־עָשׂ֤וּ אֲבֹתָיו֙ [3] Pashta וַאֲב֣וֹת אֲבֹתָ֔יו [2] Zaqef בִּזָּ֧ה וְשָׁלָ֛ל [3] Tevir וּרְכ֖וּשׁ [2] Tip'cha לָהֶ֣ם יִבְז֑וֹר [1] Etnachta וְעַ֧ל מִבְצָרִ֛ים [3] Tevir יְחַשֵּׁ֥ב מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha וְעַד־עֵֽת׃ [1] Silluq		²⁴Peaceably [4] and in the prosperous parts of the province [3] he will come, [2] and he will do [3] that which his fathers have not done [3] or his fathers’ fathers, [2] plunder and spoil [3] and possessions [2] he will distribute among them; [1] and against the strongholds [3] he will devise his plans [2] for a time. [1]
	²⁵וְיָעֵר֩ כֹּח֨וֹ וּלְבָב֜וֹ [4] Geresh עַל־מֶ֣לֶךְ הַנֶּ֘גֶב֮ [3 3] Zarqa בְּחַ֣יִל גָּדוֹל֒ [2] Segol וּמֶ֣לֶךְ הַנֶּ֗גֶב [3] Revi'i יִתְגָּרֶה֙ [3] Pashta לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה [2] Zaqef בְּחַֽיִל־גָּד֥וֹל וְעָצ֖וּם [2] Tip'cha עַד־מְאֹ֑ד [1] Etnachta וְלֹ֣א יַעֲמֹ֔ד [2] Zaqef כִּֽי־יַחְשְׁב֥וּ עָלָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha מַחֲשָׁבֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq		²⁵Then he will stir up his strength and his courage [4] against the king of the south [3 3] with a great army, [2] and the king of the south, [3] he will prepare [3] for battle [2] with an army great and mighty [2] exceedingly; [1] but he won’t stand, [2] for they will devise against him [2] schemes. [1]
	²⁶וְאֹכְלֵ֧י פַת־בָּג֛וֹ [3] Tevir יִשְׁבְּר֖וּהוּ [2] Tip'cha וְחֵיל֣וֹ יִשְׁט֑וֹף [1] Etnachta וְנָפְל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha חֲלָלִ֥ים רַבִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq		²⁶And those who eat bread with him, [3] they will destroy him, [2] and his army will be swept away; [1] and they will fall, [2] the slain will be many. [1]
	²⁷וּשְׁנֵיהֶ֤ם הַמְּלָכִים֙ [3] Pashta לְבָבָ֣ם לְמֵרָ֔ע [2] Zaqef וְעַל־שֻׁלְחָ֥ן אֶחָ֖ד [2] Tip'cha כָּזָ֣ב יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ [1] Etnachta וְלֹ֣א תִצְלָ֔ח [2] Zaqef כִּי־ע֥וֹד קֵ֖ץ [2] Tip'cha לַמּוֹעֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq		²⁷And the two kings, [3] their hearts will be bent on evil, [2] and at one table [2] they will speak lies; [1] but to no avail, [2] for still the end [2] will be at the appointed time. [1]

	³⁰וּבָ֨אוּ ב֜וֹ [4] Geresh צִיִּ֤ים כִּתִּים֙ [3] Pashta וְנִכְאָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְשָׁ֛ב [3] Tevir וְזָעַ֥ם עַל־בְּרִֽית־ק֖וֹדֶשׁ [2] Tip'cha וְעָשָׂ֑ה [1] Etnachta וְשָׁ֣ב וְיָבֵ֔ן [2] Zaqef עַל־עֹזְבֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha בְּרִ֥ית קֹֽדֶשׁ׃ [1] Silluq		³⁰For they will come against him, [4] the ships of Kittim, [3] and he will be disheartened, [2] so he will turn back [3] and he will direct indignation against the holy covenant, [2] and he will act; [1] when he turns back he will show favor [2] to those who forsake [2] the holy covenant. [1]
	³¹וּזְרֹעִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha מִמֶּ֣נּוּ יַעֲמֹ֑דוּ [1] Etnachta וְחִלְּל֞וּ [4] Gershayim הַמִּקְדָּ֤שׁ הַמָּעוֹז֙ [3] Pashta וְהֵסִ֣ירוּ הַתָּמִ֔יד [2] Zaqef וְנָתְנ֖וּ [2] Tip'cha הַשִּׁקּ֥וּץ מְשֹׁמֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq		³¹And forces, [2] from him they will arise; [1] and they will profane [4] the sanctuary, the stronghold, [3] and they will do away with the daily sacrifices, [2] and they will set up [2] the desolating abomination. [1]
	³²וּמַרְשִׁיעֵ֣י בְרִ֔ית [2] Zaqef יַחֲנִ֖יף [2] Tip'cha בַּחֲלַקּ֑וֹת [1] Etnachta וְעַ֛ם [3] Tevir יֹדְעֵ֥י אֱלֹהָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha יַחֲזִ֥קוּ וְעָשֽׂוּ׃ [1] Silluq		³²And those who act wickedly against the covenant [2] he will seduce [2] with flattering words; [1] but the people [3] who know their God, [2] they will be strong and they will take action. [1]
	³³וּמַשְׂכִּ֣ילֵי עָ֔ם [2] Zaqef יָבִ֖ינוּ [2] Tip'cha לָֽרַבִּ֑ים [1] Etnachta וְנִכְשְׁל֞וּ [4] Gershayim בְּחֶ֧רֶב וּבְלֶהָבָ֛ה [3] Tevir בִּשְׁבִ֥י וּבְבִזָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha יָמִֽים׃ [1] Silluq		³³“And the wise among the people, [2] they will give understanding [2] to many; [1] yet they will stumble [4] by sword and by flame, [3] by captivity and by plunder [2] for some days. [1]
	³⁴וּבְהִכָּ֣שְׁלָ֔ם [2] Zaqef יֵעָזְר֖וּ [2] Tip'cha עֵ֣זֶר מְעָ֑ט [1] Etnachta וְנִלְו֧וּ עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם [3] Tevir רַבִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha בַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq		³⁴Now when they stumble [2] they will be helped [2] with a little help; [1] but they will join themselves to them, [3] many, [2] by flatteries. 	³⁵וּמִן־הַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֣ים יִכָּֽשְׁל֗וּ [3] Revi'i לִצְר֥וֹף בָּהֶ֛ם [3] Tevir וּלְבָרֵ֥ר וְלַלְבֵּ֖ן [2] Tip'cha עַד־עֵ֣ת קֵ֑ץ [1] Etnachta כִּי־ע֖וֹד [2] Tip'cha לַמּוֹעֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq		³⁵And some of the wise will stumble, [3] to be refined [3] and purified and made white, [2] until the time of the end; [1] for it is yet [2] for the appointed time. 	⁴²וְיִשְׁלַ֥ח יָד֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha בַּאֲרָצ֑וֹת [1] Etnachta וְאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef לֹ֥א תִהְיֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לִפְלֵיטָֽה׃ [1] Silluq		⁴²And he will stretch out his hand [2] against lands; [1] and the land of Egypt, [2] it will not [2] escape. [1]
	⁴³וּמָשַׁ֗ל [3] Revi'i בְּמִכְמַנֵּי֙ [3] Pashta הַזָּהָ֣ב וְהַכֶּ֔סֶף [2] Zaqef וּבְכֹ֖ל [2] Tip'cha חֲמֻד֣וֹת מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta וְלֻבִ֥ים וְכֻשִׁ֖ים [2] Tip'cha בְּמִצְעָדָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq		⁴³And he will gain control [3] over the treasures [3] of gold and of silver, [2] and over all [2] the precious things of Egypt; [1] and Libyans and Ethiopians [2] will be under his feet. 	⁴⁴וּשְׁמֻע֣וֹת יְבַהֲלֻ֔הוּ [2] Zaqef מִמִּזְרָ֖ח [2] Tip'cha וּמִצָּפ֑וֹן [1] Etnachta וְיָצָא֙ [3] Pashta בְּחֵמָ֣א גְדֹלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef לְהַשְׁמִ֥יד וּֽלְהַחֲרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha רַבִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq		⁴⁴But reports will alarm him [2] from the east [2] and from the north; [1] and he will set out [3] in great fury [2] to destroy and to annihilate [2] many.
