“I beg you O Lord, [3]
the God the great [3]
and the awesome, [2]
 
who keeps the covenant [3]
and the lovingkindness [2]
 
to those who love him [2]
and to those who keep his commandments, [1]
5 חָטָ֥אנוּ וְעָוִ֖ינוּ [2] Tip'cha
*והרשענו **הִרְשַׁ֣עְנוּ וּמָרָ֑דְנוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְס֥וֹר מִמִּצְוֺתֶ֖ךָ [2] Tip'cha
וּמִמִּשְׁפָּטֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq

and we have acted wickedly and have rebelled, [1]
 
and we have turned aside from your commandments [2]

“O Daniel, [2]
I have now come [2]
to give you insight and understanding. [1]

תָּשׁוּב֙ [3] Pashta
וְנִבְנְתָה֙ [3] Pashta
רְח֣וֹב וְחָר֔וּץ [2] Zaqef
 
וּבְצ֖וֹק [2] Tip'cha
הָעִתִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq

קֵ֣ץ מִלְחָמָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
נֶחֱרֶ֖צֶת [2] Tip'cha
שֹׁמֵמֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq

an anointed one will be cut off, [2]

Then the city and the sanctuary [4]

וְעַ֨ל כְּנַ֤ף שִׁקּוּצִים֙ [3] Pashta
מְשֹׁמֵ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וְעַד־כָּלָה֙ [3] Pashta
וְנֶ֣חֱרָצָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
תִּתַּ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
עַל־שֹׁמֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq

then on a wing of abominations [3]
