1 וּבָעֵ֣ת הַהִיא֩ יַעֲמֹ֨ד מִֽיכָאֵ֜ל [4] Geresh
הַשַּׂ֣ר הַגָּד֗וֹל [3] Revi'i
 
הָעֹמֵד֮ [3] Zarqa
עַל־בְּנֵ֣י עַמֶּ֒ךָ֒ [2 2] Segol
 
וְהָיְתָה֙ [3] Pashta
עֵ֣ת צָרָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־נִהְיְתָה֙ [3] Pashta
מִֽהְי֣וֹת גּ֔וֹי [2] Zaqef
 
עַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
הָעֵ֣ת הַהִ֑יא [1] Etnachta
 
וּבָעֵ֤ת הַהִיא֙ [3] Pashta
יִמָּלֵ֣ט עַמְּךָ֔ [2] Zaqef
 
כׇּל־הַנִּמְצָ֖א [2] Tip'cha
כָּת֥וּב בַּסֵּֽפֶר׃ [1] Silluq

the great prince, [3]
 
who stands guard [3]
over the sons of your people, [2 2]
 
and there will be [3]
a time of distress [2]

but at that time [3]
your people will be delivered, [2]
 
everyone who is found [2]
written in the book. [1]

מִיְּשֵׁנֵ֥י אַדְמַת־עָפָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
יָקִ֑יצוּ [1] Etnachta
 
אֵ֚לֶּה [3] Yetiv
לְחַיֵּ֣י עוֹלָ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֵ֥לֶּה לַחֲרָפ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
לְדִרְא֥וֹן עוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 2 And multitudes [2]
who sleep in the dust of the earth, [2]
they will awake; [1]
 
some [3]
to everlasting life, [2]
 
and some to shame [2]
and everlasting contempt. [1]
3 וְהַ֨מַּשְׂכִּלִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
יַזְהִ֖רוּ [2] Tip'cha
כְּזֹ֣הַר הָרָקִ֑יעַ [1] Etnachta
 
וּמַצְדִּיקֵי֙ [3] Pashta
הָֽרַבִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
כַּכּוֹכָבִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
לְעוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 2 3 2 3 And those who are wise, [2]
they will shine [2]
like the brightness of the heavenly expanse; [1]
 
and those who to righteousness turn [3]
many, [2]
 
like the stars [2]
forever and ever. [1]
4 וְאַתָּ֣ה דָֽנִיֵּ֗אל [3] Revi'i
סְתֹ֧ם הַדְּבָרִ֛ים [3] Tevir
וַחֲתֹ֥ם הַסֵּ֖פֶר [2] Tip'cha
עַד־עֵ֣ת קֵ֑ץ [1] Etnachta
 
יְשֹׁטְט֥וּ רַבִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
וְתִרְבֶּ֥ה הַדָּֽעַת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 4 But you O Daniel, [3]
conceal the words [3]
and seal up the book, [2]
until the time of the end. [1]
 
Many will run back and forth, [2]
and knowledge will increase.” [1]
5 וְרָאִ֙יתִי֙ [3 3] Pashta
אֲנִ֣י דָנִיֵּ֔אל [2] Zaqef
 
וְהִנֵּ֛ה [3] Tevir
שְׁנַ֥יִם אֲחֵרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
עֹמְדִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
אֶחָ֥ד הֵ֙נָּה֙ [3 3] Pashta
לִשְׂפַ֣ת הַיְאֹ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֶחָ֥ד הֵ֖נָּה [2] Tip'cha
לִשְׂפַ֥ת הַיְאֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq

I Daniel, [2]
 
and behold [3]
two others [2]
stood; [1]
 
one on this [3 3]
bank of the river [2]
 
and one on the other [2]
bank of the river. [1]
6 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i
לָאִישׁ֙ [3] Pashta
לְב֣וּשׁ הַבַּדִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר מִמַּ֖עַל [2] Tip'cha
לְמֵימֵ֣י הַיְאֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
עַד־מָתַ֖י [2] Tip'cha
קֵ֥ץ הַפְּלָאֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq

to the man [3]
clothed in linen [2]
 
who was above [2]
the waters of the river; [1]
 
“How long until [2]
the end of the wonders?” [1]
7 וָאֶשְׁמַ֞ע [4] Gershayim
אֶת־הָאִ֣ישׁ ׀ [4] Legarmeh
לְב֣וּשׁ הַבַּדִּ֗ים [3] Revi'i
 
אֲשֶׁ֣ר מִמַּ֘עַל֮ [3 3] Zarqa
לְמֵימֵ֣י הַיְאֹר֒ [2] Segol
 
וַיָּ֨רֶם יְמִינ֤וֹ וּשְׂמֹאלוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
אֶל־הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּשָּׁבַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
בְּחֵ֣י הָעוֹלָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
כִּי֩ לְמוֹעֵ֨ד מֽוֹעֲדִ֜ים [4] Geresh
וָחֵ֗צִי [3] Revi'i
 
וּכְכַלּ֛וֹת [3] Tevir
נַפֵּ֥ץ יַד־עַם־קֹ֖דֶשׁ [2] Tip'cha
 
תִּכְלֶ֥ינָה כׇל־אֵֽלֶּה׃ [1] Silluq

the man [4]
clothed in linen [3]
 
who was above [3 3]
the waters of the river, [2]
 
as he raised his right hand and his left hand [3]
to the heavens, [2]
 
and he swore [2]
by the one who lives forever; [1]
 
that for a time, times [4]
and a half, [3]
 
and when an end comes to [3]
the breaking of the power of the holy people, [2]
 
all these things will be finished. [1]
8 וַאֲנִ֥י שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי [2] Tip'cha
וְלֹ֣א אָבִ֑ין [1] Etnachta
 
וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
אֲדֹנִ֕י [2] ZaqefG
מָ֥ה אַחֲרִ֖ית [2] Tip'cha
אֵֽלֶּה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 2 8 Now I heard [2]
but I didn’t understand; [1]
 
so I said, [2]
“O my lord, [2]
what will be the outcome [2]
of these things?” [1]
9 וַיֹּ֖אמֶר [2] Tip'cha
לֵ֣ךְ דָּנִיֵּ֑אל [1] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־סְתֻמִ֧ים וַחֲתֻמִ֛ים [3] Tevir
הַדְּבָרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
עַד־עֵ֥ת קֵֽץ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 9 And he said, [2]
“Go your way, Daniel; [1]
 
for concealed and sealed up [3]
are the words [2]
until the time of the end. [1]
10 יִ֠תְבָּֽרְר֠וּ [4 4] TelishaG
וְיִֽתְלַבְּנ֤וּ וְיִצָּֽרְפוּ֙ [3] Pashta
רַבִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וְהִרְשִׁ֣יעוּ רְשָׁעִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
וְלֹ֥א יָבִ֖ינוּ [2] Tip'cha
כׇּל־רְשָׁעִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
יָבִֽינוּ׃ [1] Silluq

and made white and refined [3]
will be many, [2]
 
but the wicked will act wickedly [2]
and they will not understand, [2]
any of the wicked; [1]
 
but the wise, [2]
they will understand. [1]
11 וּמֵעֵת֙ [3] Pashta
הוּסַ֣ר הַתָּמִ֔יד [2] Zaqef
 
וְלָתֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
שִׁקּ֣וּץ שֹׁמֵ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
יָמִ֕ים [2] ZaqefG
אֶ֖לֶף [2] Tip'cha
מָאתַ֥יִם וְתִשְׁעִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 11 And from the time [3]
that the daily burnt offering is taken away, [2]
 
and set up [2]
is the desolating abomination; [1]
 
there will be days [2]
one thousand [2]
two hundred and ninety. [1]
12 אַשְׁרֵ֥י הַֽמְחַכֶּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וְיַגִּ֑יעַ [1] Etnachta
 
לְיָמִ֕ים [2] ZaqefG
אֶ֕לֶף [2] ZaqefG
שְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים וַחֲמִשָּֽׁה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 2 12 Blessed is the one who waits [2]
and he arrives; [1]
 
at days [2]
one thousand [2]
three hundred [2]
thirty and five. [1]
13 וְאַתָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לֵ֣ךְ לַקֵּ֑ץ [1] Etnachta
 
וְתָנ֛וּחַ [3] Tevir
וְתַעֲמֹ֥ד לְגֹרָלְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
לְקֵ֥ץ הַיָּמִֽין׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 13 But you, [2]
go your way until the end; [1]
 
and you will rest [3]
and then you will arise to your allotted portion [2]
at the end of the days.” [1]
