1 Now in year one [3] of Cyrus [3 3] king of Persia, [2] from the mouth of Jeremiah; [1] the spirit [3 3] of Cyrus king of Persia, [2] throughout all his kingdom, [2] saying, [1] |

| 2 כֹּ֣ה אָמַ֗ר [3] Revi'i כֹּ֚רֶשׁ [3] Yetiv מֶ֣לֶךְ פָּרַ֔ס [2] Zaqef מַמְלְכ֣וֹת הָאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֱלֹהֵ֣י הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta לִבְנֽוֹת־ל֣וֹ בַ֔יִת [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּֽיהוּדָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
2 “Thus he says, [3] Cyrus [3] king of Persia, [2] the kingdoms of the earth [2] the LORD [2] the God of the heavens; [1] to build for him a house, [2] which is in Judah. [1] |

3 Whoever there is among you of all his people, [3] may his God be [3] with him, [2] to Jerusalem [2] which is in Judah; [1] the house of the LORD, [3] the God of Israel; [2] who is in Jerusalem. [1] |

| 4 וְכׇל־הַנִּשְׁאָ֗ר [3] Revi'i מִֽכׇּל־הַמְּקֹמוֹת֮ [3] Zarqa אֲשֶׁ֣ר ה֣וּא גָֽר־שָׁם֒ [2] Segol אַנְשֵׁ֣י מְקֹמ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef וּבִרְכ֣וּשׁ וּבִבְהֵמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta לְבֵ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ [1] Silluq |
4 And everyone who remains [3] from any place [3] where he is sojourning there, [2] the people of his place, [2] and with goods and with cattle; [1] for the house of God [2] which is in Jerusalem.’ ” [1] |

| 5 וַיָּק֜וּמוּ [4] Geresh רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֗וֹת [3] Revi'i וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן [2] Zaqef וְהַלְוִיִּ֑ם [1] Etnachta אֶת־רוּח֔וֹ [2] Zaqef אֶת־בֵּ֥ית יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ [1] Silluq |
5 Then they rose up, [4] the heads of the fathers, [3] and Benjamin, [2] and the Levites; [1] his spirit, [2] the house of the LORD [2] which is in Jerusalem. [1] |

| 6 וְכׇל־סְבִיבֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ [3] Pashta חִזְּק֣וּ בִֽידֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef בָּרְכ֥וּשׁ וּבַבְּהֵמָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וּבַמִּגְדָּנ֑וֹת [1] Etnachta עַל־כׇּל־הִתְנַדֵּֽב׃ [1] Silluq פ |
6 And all those around them, [3] they strengthened their hands, [2] with goods and with cattle, [2] and with precious things; [1] all the freewill offerings. [1] ¶ |

7 And Cyrus the king, [2] he brought out [2] the vessels of the house of the LORD; [1] from Jerusalem, [2] in the house of his gods. [1] |

8 And he brought them out, [3] Cyrus [3] the king of Persia, [2] of Mithredath the treasurer; [1] to Sheshbazzar, [2] of Judah. [1] § |

10 bowls of gold, [3] thirty, [2] second kind, [2] and ten; [1] one thousand. [1] |
