	¹וּמׇרְדֳּכַ֗י [3] Revi'a יָדַע֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר נַעֲשָׂ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וַיִּקְרַ֤ע מׇרְדֳּכַי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶת־בְּגָדָ֔יו [2] Zaqef וַיִּלְבַּ֥שׁ שַׂ֖ק [2] Merkha Tip'cha וָאֵ֑פֶר [1] Etnachta וַיֵּצֵא֙ [3] Pashta בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעִ֔יר [2] Munach Zaqef וַיִּזְעַ֛ק [3] Tevir זְעָקָ֥ה גְדוֹלָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha וּמָרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq		¹Now when Mordecai, [3] he found out [3] all that had been done, [2] Mordecai tore [3] his clothes, [2] and he put on sackcloth [2] and ashes; [1] and he went out [3] into the middle of the city, [2] and he cried [3] a cry loud [2] and bitter. [1]
	²וַיָּב֕וֹא [2] ZaqefG עַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha לִפְנֵ֣י שַֽׁעַר־הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Munach Etnachta כִּ֣י אֵ֥ין לָב֛וֹא [3] Munach Merkha Tevir אֶל־שַׁ֥עַר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha בִּלְב֥וּשׁ שָֽׂק׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²And he went [2] to [2] before the gate of the king; [1] for none is to go [3] into the gate of the king [2] in clothing of sackcloth. [1]
	³וּבְכׇל־מְדִינָ֣ה וּמְדִינָ֗ה [3] Munach Revi'a מְקוֹם֙ [3] Pashta אֲשֶׁ֨ר דְּבַר־הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ וְדָתוֹ֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta מַגִּ֔יעַ [2] Zaqef אֵ֤בֶל גָּדוֹל֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לַיְּהוּדִ֔ים [2] Zaqef וְצ֥וֹם וּבְכִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha וּמִסְפֵּ֑ד [1] Etnachta שַׂ֣ק וָאֵ֔פֶר [2] Munach Zaqef יֻצַּ֖ע [2] Tip'cha לָֽרַבִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq		³And in every province, [3] places [3] where the word of the king and his decree [3] had reached, [2] great mourning [3] the Jews had, [2] and fasting and weeping [2] and wailing; [1] sackcloth and ashes, [2] it was spread as a bed [2] for many. [1]
	⁴ותבואינה *וַ֠תָּב֠וֹאנָה [4] TelishaG נַעֲר֨וֹת אֶסְתֵּ֤ר וְסָרִיסֶ֙יהָ֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ לָ֔הּ [2] Munach Zaqef וַתִּתְחַלְחַ֥ל הַמַּלְכָּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha מְאֹ֑ד [1] Etnachta וַתִּשְׁלַ֨ח בְּגָדִ֜ים [4] Qadma Geresh לְהַלְבִּ֣ישׁ אֶֽת־מׇרְדֳּכַ֗י [3] Munach Revi'a וּלְהָסִ֥יר שַׂקּ֛וֹ [3] Merkha Tevir מֵעָלָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha וְלֹ֥א קִבֵּֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁴And they came, [4] the maids of Esther and her eunuchs, [3] and they told her, [2] and the queen agonized [2] exceedingly; [1] and she sent garments [4] to clothe Mordecai, [3] and to remove his sackcloth [3] from on him, [2] but he didn’t accept (it). [1]
	⁵וַתִּקְרָא֩ אֶסְתֵּ֨ר לַהֲתָ֜ךְ [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh מִסָּרִיסֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֶעֱמִ֣יד לְפָנֶ֔יהָ [2] Munach Munach Zaqef וַתְּצַוֵּ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha עַֽל־מׇרְדֳּכָ֑י [1] Etnachta לָדַ֥עַת מַה־זֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְעַל־מַה־זֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq		⁵Then Esther called for Hathach [4] one of the eunuchs of the king, [3] whom he had appointed to attend her, [2] and she commanded him [2] regarding Mordecai; [1] to find out what this was [2] and why this was. [1]
	⁶וַיֵּצֵ֥א הֲתָ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶֽל־מׇרְדֳּכָ֑י [1] Etnachta אֶל־רְח֣וֹב הָעִ֔יר [2] Munach Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֖ר [2] Tip'cha לִפְנֵ֥י שַֽׁעַר־הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁶So Hathach went out [2] to Mordecai; [1] to the open place of the city [2] which [2] was before the gate of the king. [1]
	⁷וַיַּגֶּד־ל֣וֹ מׇרְדֳּכַ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר קָרָ֑הוּ [1] Munach Etnachta וְאֵ֣ת ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh פָּרָשַׁ֣ת הַכֶּ֗סֶף [3] Munach Revi'a אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָמַ֤ר הָמָן֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta לִ֠שְׁק֠וֹל [4] TelishaG עַל־גִּנְזֵ֥י הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ [3] Merkha Tevir ביהודיים *בַּיְּהוּדִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha לְאַבְּדָֽם׃ [1] Silluq		⁷And Mordecai told him [2] -- [2] all that had happened to him; [1] and [4] the exact amount of the silver, [3] which Haman had promised [3] to weigh out [4] to the treasuries of the king [3] for the Jews, [2] to destroy them. [1]
	⁸וְאֶת־פַּתְשֶׁ֣גֶן כְּתָֽב־הַ֠דָּ֠ת [4] Munach TelishaG אֲשֶׁר־נִתַּ֨ן בְּשׁוּשָׁ֤ן לְהַשְׁמִידָם֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta נָ֣תַן ל֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef לְהַרְא֥וֹת אֶת־אֶסְתֵּ֖ר [2] Merkha Tip'cha וּלְהַגִּ֣יד לָ֑הּ [1] Munach Etnachta וּלְצַוּ֣וֹת עָלֶ֗יהָ [3] Munach Revi'a לָב֨וֹא אֶל־הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ לְהִֽתְחַנֶּן־ל֛וֹ [3] Qadma Darga Tevir וּלְבַקֵּ֥שׁ מִלְּפָנָ֖יו [2] Merkha Tip'cha עַל־עַמָּֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq		⁸And the copy of the writing of the decree [4] which had been given out in Susa to destroy them, [3] he gave to him, [2] to show Esther [2] and to tell her; [1] and to urge her [3] to go to the king to make supplication to him [3] and to make request before him, [2] for her people. [1]
	⁹וַיָּב֖וֹא [2] Tip'cha הֲתָ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta וַיַּגֵּ֣ד לְאֶסְתֵּ֔ר [2] Munach Zaqef אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha דִּבְרֵ֥י מׇרְדֳּכָֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁹And he came, [2] Hathach; [1] and he told Esther [2] -- [2] the words of Mordecai. [1]
	¹⁰וַתֹּ֤אמֶר אֶסְתֵּר֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לַהֲתָ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef וַתְּצַוֵּ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha אֶֽל־מׇרְדֳּכָֽי׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁰And Esther spoke [3] to Hathach, [2] and she gave him a message [2] to Mordecai, [1]
	¹¹כׇּל־עַבְדֵ֣י הַמֶּ֡לֶךְ [4] Munach Pazer וְעַם־מְדִינ֨וֹת הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ [4] Qadma Geresh יֹֽדְעִ֗ים [3] Revi'a אֲשֶׁ֣ר כׇּל־אִ֣ישׁ וְאִשָּׁ֡ה [4] Munach Munach Pazer אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָבֽוֹא־אֶל־הַמֶּ֩לֶךְ֩ אֶל־הֶחָצֵ֨ר הַפְּנִימִ֜ית [4] Munach TelishaQ Qadma Geresh אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־יִקָּרֵ֗א [3] Munach Revi'a אַחַ֤ת דָּתוֹ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לְהָמִ֔ית [2] Zaqef לְ֠בַ֠ד [4] TelishaG מֵאֲשֶׁ֨ר יֽוֹשִׁיט־ל֥וֹ הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ [3] Qadma Merkha Tevir אֶת־שַׁרְבִ֥יט הַזָּהָ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְחָיָ֑ה [1] Etnachta וַאֲנִ֗י [3] Revi'a לֹ֤א נִקְרֵ֙אתִי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לָב֣וֹא אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Munach Zaqef זֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha שְׁלוֹשִׁ֥ים יֽוֹם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹¹“All the servants of the king, [4] and the people of the provinces of the king [4] know, [3] that every man or woman [4] who goes to the king into the inner court [4] without being called, [3] there is one law for him, [3] to be put to death, [2] except [4] when the king extends to him [3] the golden scepter, [2] that he may live; [1] and I, [3] I have not been called [3] to go to the king [2] these [2] thirty days.” [1]
	¹²וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ לְמׇרְדֳּכָ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha דִּבְרֵ֥י אֶסְתֵּֽר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq פ		¹²And they told Mordecai [2] -- [2] the words of Esther. [1] ¶
	¹³וַיֹּ֥אמֶר מׇרְדֳּכַ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְהָשִׁ֣יב אֶל־אֶסְתֵּ֑ר [1] Munach Etnachta אַל־תְּדַמִּ֣י בְנַפְשֵׁ֔ךְ [2] Munach Zaqef לְהִמָּלֵ֥ט בֵּית־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha מִכׇּל־הַיְּהוּדִֽים׃ [1] Silluq		¹³Then Mordecai said [2] to reply to Esther; [1] “Do not think to yourself [2] to escape (in) the house of the king [2] from all the Jews. [1]
	¹⁴כִּ֣י אִם־הַחֲרֵ֣שׁ תַּחֲרִ֘ישִׁי֮ [3] Munach Munach Zarqa בָּעֵ֣ת הַזֹּאת֒ [2] Munach Segol רֶ֣וַח וְהַצָּלָ֞ה [4] Munach Gershayim יַעֲמ֤וֹד לַיְּהוּדִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta מִמָּק֣וֹם אַחֵ֔ר [2] Munach Zaqef וְאַ֥תְּ וּבֵית־אָבִ֖יךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha תֹּאבֵ֑דוּ [1] Etnachta וּמִ֣י יוֹדֵ֔עַ [2] Munach Zaqef אִם־לְעֵ֣ת כָּזֹ֔את [2] Munach Zaqef הִגַּ֖עַתְּ [2] Tip'cha לַמַּלְכֽוּת׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁴For if you indeed remain silent [3] at this time, [2] relief and deliverance, [4] it will arise for the Jews [3] from another place, [2] but you and the house of your father, [2] you will perish; [1] and who knows, [2] if for such a time as this [2] you have reached [2] the queenhood?” [1]
	¹⁵וַתֹּ֥אמֶר אֶסְתֵּ֖ר [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְהָשִׁ֥יב אֶֽל־מׇרְדֳּכָֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁵Then Esther said [2] to reply to Mordecai, [1]
	¹⁶לֵךְ֩ כְּנ֨וֹס אֶת־כׇּל־הַיְּהוּדִ֜ים [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh הַֽנִּמְצְאִ֣ים בְּשׁוּשָׁ֗ן [3] Munach Revi'a וְצ֣וּמוּ עָ֠לַ֠י [4] Munach TelishaG וְאַל־תֹּאכְל֨וּ וְאַל־תִּשְׁתּ֜וּ [4] Qadma Geresh שְׁלֹ֤שֶׁת יָמִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לַ֣יְלָה וָי֔וֹם [2] Munach Zaqef גַּם־אֲנִ֥י וְנַעֲרֹתַ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha אָצ֣וּם כֵּ֑ן [1] Munach Etnachta וּבְכֵ֞ן [4] Gershayim אָב֤וֹא אֶל־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־כַדָּ֔ת [2] Munach Zaqef וְכַאֲשֶׁ֥ר אָבַ֖דְתִּי [2] Merkha Tip'cha אָבָֽדְתִּי׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁶“Go, gather all the Jews [4] who are found in Susa, [3] and fast for me, [4] and do not eat and do not drink [4] three days, [3] night or day. [2] I too and my maids, [2] I will fast in this way; [1] and like this [4] I will go to the king, [3] which is against the law, [2] and if I perish, [2] I perish.” [1]
