שְׁנַ֣ת הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i
 
לְהָבִ֞יא [4] Gershayim
אֶת־סֵ֤פֶר הַזִּכְרֹנוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
דִּבְרֵ֣י הַיָּמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּהְי֥וּ נִקְרָאִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq

the book of records [3]
of the chronicles, [2]
 
and they were read aloud [2]

אֲשֶׁר֩ הִגִּ֨יד מׇרְדֳּכַ֜י [4] Geresh
עַל־בִּגְתָ֣נָא וָתֶ֗רֶשׁ [3] Revi'i
 
שְׁנֵי֙ [3] Pashta
סָרִיסֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef
 
מִשֹּׁמְרֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
הַסַּ֑ף [1] Etnachta
 
אֲשֶׁ֤ר בִּקְשׁוּ֙ [3] Pashta
לִשְׁלֹ֣חַ יָ֔ד [2] Zaqef
 
בַּמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha

וַיֹּ֨אמְר֜וּ [4] Geresh

לֹא־נַעֲשָׂ֥ה עִמּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha

for Mordecai [2]
regarding this?” [1]

his servants, [2]
 
“For him has not been done [2]

וְהָמָ֣ן בָּ֗א [3] Revi'i
לַחֲצַ֤ר בֵּית־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta
הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
לֵאמֹ֣ר לַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef
 
לִתְלוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
אֶֽת־מׇרְדֳּכַ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
עַל־הָעֵ֖ץ [2] Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁר־הֵכִ֥ין לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

“Who is in the court?” [1]
 
Now Haman had come [3]
to the court of the house of the king [3 3]
the outer, [2]
 
to ask the king [2]
 
to hang [3]
Mordecai [2]
 
on the gallows [2]
which he had prepared for him. [1]

אֵלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
הִנֵּ֥ה הָמָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
עֹמֵ֣ד בֶּחָצֵ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha
יָבֽוֹא׃ [1] Silluq

“Behold Haman [2]
is standing in the court.” [1]
 
And the king said, [2]
“Let him come.” [1]

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef
 
מַה־לַּעֲשׂ֕וֹת [2] ZaqefG
בָּאִ֕ישׁ [2] ZaqefG
אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha
חָפֵ֣ץ בִּיקָר֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר הָמָן֙ [3] Pashta
בְּלִבּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
לְמִ֞י [4] Gershayim
יַחְפֹּ֥ץ הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ [3] Tevir
לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת יְקָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
יוֹתֵ֥ר מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ [1] Silluq

and he said to him, [3]
the king, [2]
 
“What should be done [2]
for the man [2]
whom the king, [2]
he delights in his honor?” [1]
 
And Haman said [3]
in his heart, [2]
 
“To whom [4]
would the king delight [3]
to do honor, [2]
more than myself?” [1]

to the king; [1]
 
“A man [2]
whom the king, [2]
he delights in his honor, [1]
8 יָבִ֙יאוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
לְב֣וּשׁ מַלְכ֔וּת [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָֽבַשׁ־בּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וְס֗וּס [3] Revi'i
אֲשֶׁ֨ר רָכַ֤ב עָלָיו֙ [3] Pashta
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר נִתַּ֛ן [3] Tevir
כֶּ֥תֶר מַלְכ֖וּת [2] Tip'cha
בְּרֹאשֽׁוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

עַל־יַד־אִ֞ישׁ [4] Gershayim
מִשָּׂרֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta
הַֽפַּרְתְּמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וְהִלְבִּ֙ישׁוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
אֶת־הָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha
חָפֵ֣ץ בִּֽיקָר֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
וְהִרְכִּיבֻ֤הוּ עַל־הַסּוּס֙ [3] Pashta
בִּרְח֣וֹב הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef
 
וְקָרְא֣וּ לְפָנָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
כָּ֚כָה [3] Yetiv
יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה לָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha
חָפֵ֥ץ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

and the horse, [3]
 
in the hands of a man, [4]
one of the officials of the king [3 3]
who is noble, [2]
 
and they will clothe [3 3]
the man [2]
 
whom the king, [2]
he delights in his honor; [1]
 
and they will have him ride on horseback [3]
through the city square, [2]
 
and they will proclaim before him, [2]
 
‘Thus [3]
it shall be done for the man [2]
 
whom the king, [2]
he delights in his honor!’ ” [1]

take the clothing and the horse, [3]
just as you have said, [2]
 
and do so [3]
for Mordecai the Jew [2]
 
who sits [2]
at the gate of the king. [1]
 
Don't let a word fall [2]
of all [2]
that you have spoken.” [1]
11 וַיִּקַּ֤ח הָמָן֙ [3] Pashta

וַיַּלְבֵּ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha
אֶֽת־מׇרְדֳּכָ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
וַיַּרְכִּיבֵ֙הוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
בִּרְח֣וֹב הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּקְרָ֣א לְפָנָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
כָּ֚כָה [3] Yetiv
יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה לָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha
חָפֵ֥ץ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

the clothing and the horse, [2]
 
and he clothed [2]
Mordecai; [1]
 
and he had him ride [3 3]
through the city square, [2]
 
and he proclaimed before him, [2]
 
“Thus [3]
it shall be done for the man [2]
 
whom the king, [2]
he delights in his honor!” [1]
12 וַיָּ֥שׇׁב מׇרְדֳּכַ֖י [2] Tip'cha
אֶל־שַׁ֣עַר הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וְהָמָן֙ [3] Pashta
נִדְחַ֣ף אֶל־בֵּית֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
אָבֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
וַחֲפ֥וּי רֹֽאשׁ׃ [1] Silluq

to the gate of the king; [1]
 
but Haman, [3]
he hurried to his house, [2]
 
mourning [2]
and with head covered. [1]
13 וַיְסַפֵּ֨ר הָמָ֜ן [4] Geresh
לְזֶ֤רֶשׁ אִשְׁתּוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
וּלְכׇל־אֹ֣הֲבָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר קָרָ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֩אמְרוּ֩ ל֨וֹ חֲכָמָ֜יו [4] Geresh
וְזֶ֣רֶשׁ אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i
 
אִ֣ם מִזֶּ֣רַע הַיְּהוּדִ֡ים [4] Pazer
מׇרְדֳּכַ֞י [4] Gershayim
אֲשֶׁר֩ הַחִלּ֨וֹתָ לִנְפֹּ֤ל לְפָנָיו֙ [3] Pashta
לֹא־תוּכַ֣ל ל֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
כִּֽי־נָפ֥וֹל תִּפּ֖וֹל [2] Tip'cha
לְפָנָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq

to Zeresh his wife [3]
and to all his friends [2]

and they said to him, his wise men [4]

“If (he) is of Jewish descent, [4]
Mordecai [4]
before whom you have begun to fall, [3]
you will not prevail against him, [2]
 
but you will surely fall [2]
before him.” [1]

to the banquet [2]
